Manna for Your Morning

“But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.” — Job 8:20-21 (NLT) Our heavenly Father is a turn around God. He will turn your sorrow into joy. He turns our mourning into joyful dancing. (Psalm 30:11) No matter what you are going through today, keep your eyes on Jesus, our only hope and the source of our help. Remember, the LORD's plans for you are good. As Pastor Matt said in his message yesterday, “what’s ahead of us is greater than what is behind us.” To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. (Isaiah 61:3 NLT)

“Again, God’s Message: “‘I’ll turn things around for Jacob. I’ll compassionately come in and rebuild homes. The town will be rebuilt on its old foundations; the mansions will be splendid again. The days of contempt will be over.’” — Jeremiah 30:18-19 (MSG) Our God is in the restoration business. If your life is in ruins, He will compassionately rebuild, on the solid foundation. You can only “get yourself together” with God’s help. When you open the door of your heart to Him, He will restore what has been destroyed, and mend what is broken. When we let the light of His Presence shine through the windows of our souls, we will thrive and flourish, in His Son. Yes! He will turn things around for you. Why are you discouraged, my soul? Why are you so restless? Put your hope in God, because I will still praise him. He is my savior and my God. Psalm 42:5 (GW) When your bright sunny sky turns gray and full of dark clouds, don't start crying the blues. When the raging waters and violent winds come, hold on. Even if your boat turns over, Jesus is your Life Preserver. In the midst of your darkest day, still praise God! Anchor your hope in the living God and you will not be disappointed. He is a safe harbor from the harsh winds and a refuge from the storms of life. He turns our mourning into gladness; He gives us comfort and joy instead of sorrow (Jeremiah 31:13). He fills our mouths with laughter and our lips with shouts of joy. Praise the LORD!

All you saints! Sing your hearts out to God! Thank him to his face! He gets angry once in a while, but across a lifetime there is only love. The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter. Psalm 30:4-5 (The Message) Thank God that the nights of crying your eyes out eventually give way to days of laughter. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Weeping may last for a night but count on the joy that comes in the morning. May your heart be full of joy and your days bursting with laughter.

See to it that laughter continually spill through your doors. Declare that the days of depression are over and things will get better and better for you and your household.
