The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD,
 and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. — Psalms 37:23-24 (AMP) As we faithfully follow the direction of Yahweh, He will establish our steps. Depart from evil and do good; And you will dwell [securely in the land] forever. For the LORD delights in justice and does not abandon His saints (faithful ones); They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off. The righteous will inherit the land and live in it forever. (Psalms 37:27-29 AMP) …the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is our refuge and stronghold in the time of trouble. The LORD helps us and rescues us; He rescues the righteous from the wicked and saves us, because we take refuge in Him. (See Psalms 37:39-40 AMP)

Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. — Psalm 37:5-6 (NKJV) Even though a man’s heart plans his way, it is the LORD who directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9). For good and lasting success, commit everything you do to the LORD and trust Him to bring it to pass in His perfect timing.
