Push Through

Image
“You are my God, my King! It’s now time to decree majesties for Jacob! Through your glorious name and your awesome power, we can push through to any victory and defeat every enemy. For I will not trust in the weapons of the world; I know they will never save me. Only you will be our Savior from all our enemies. All those who hate us you have brought to shame.” — Psalms 44:4-7 (TPT) The LORD is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. (Psalms 27:1-3 NLT) “No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (Romans 8:37 NLT) In God we have boasted all day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah. — Psalms 44:8 (NASB1995)

Fix Your Eyes

Image
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. — Hebrews 12:2 (NASB1995) Let us look away from all that will distract us and focus our eyes on Yeshua. He is bigger than any challenge or difficulty you face. He is higher than any hurdle blocking your path. Pay attention to the One Who commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him? (See Luke 8:23-25) He gives sight to the blind, and opens the ears of the deaf. In Matthew 14:29-30, Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Yeshua. But when he shifted his focus and saw the effects of the wind, he became frightened and began to sink. Instead of being fearful and letting the storms overtake you, put your faith in Yeshua. He is the real life preserver. He is the Son of God and Savior of the world. Let us hold fast our confession of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute t...

Cultivate Faithfulness

Image
Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. — Psalm 37:3-4 (NASB1995) Don’t follow after the wicked ones or be jealous of their wealth. Don’t think for a moment they’re better off than you. They and their short-lived success will soon shrivel up and quickly fade away, like grass clippings in the hot sun. (Psalms 37:1-2 TPT) Romans 12:2 (NLT) says, don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world. May we follow YAHWEH and His ways. His way is perfect. The culture of His Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17)   When we consistently do what we know is the right thing to do, we are cultivating faithfulness. As we delight ourselves in the goodness of our great and awesome God, our desires will come into alignment with His good plans and purpose for our lives. “When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every ste...

Stay Connected

Image
“I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” — John 15:5 (AMP) Realize that our union with Yeshua is vital. He is the very source of life. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life]… (See John 1:3-4 AMP) We are to live, move and have our being in Him. (See Acts 17:28) When we live separated from the Vine we are powerless. (See John 15:5 TPT) And without Him we are on the path that leads to death and destruction. Stay closely connected to Yeshua, be deeply rooted in Him and you will bear much fruit.  As diligent as we are to ensure our electronic devices are daily plugged in to re-charge, let us be all the more committed to staying connected to Christ, the very Source of our life, peace and strength.

Clear Out the Clutter

Image
My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” and my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” — Psalm 27:8 (NLT) If our hearts and minds are too cluttered with the things of this world, we will be unable to hear the still small voice of the LORD as He says: “ Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need], ” (Psalm 27:8 AMP) Let's not be distracted by current events or circumstances. Clear your mind of the clutter and set your affections on the LORD.  In Luke 10:41-42, Jesus replied “Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things, but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Choose the good part today, and listen to the Living Word of God. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD. — Psalm 89:15 (NLT)

Go in His Strength

Image
Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart triumphs, and with my song I shall thank Him. (Psalm 28:7 NASB) In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. (Psalm 18:29 NLT) The LORD gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NLT) Go forth in the strength of the LORD. Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in the Lord our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory!  — Psalm 20:7 (TPT)

Love Covers

Image
Hatred keeps old quarrels alive, but love draws a veil over every insult and finds a way to make sin disappear. — Proverbs 10:12  (TPT) In God’s great love for us, He removes our transgressions from us, as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). May we love love others, the way our heavenly Father loves us. Those who forgive faults foster love, but those who repeatedly recall them ruin relationships. (Proverbs 17:9 VOICE) Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. (1 Peter 4:8 AMP) Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught… — Proverbs 3:3a (TPT)

Trust Our Everlasting God

Image
“ Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the LORD God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. ” — Isaiah 26:4 (AMP) Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. (Psalm 90:2 NKJV) The things of this world will come and go, they are temporary, but we can trust our great God because He is here for all time. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 1:8) His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him. Bless the Most High and praise and honor Him who lives forever. Your kingdom will go on and on, and you will rule forever. The LORD will keep all his promises; he is loyal to all he has made . — Psalm 145:13 (NCV)

He is with You

Image
“And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV) Just as nothing can separate us from the love of God, nothing can separate us from His Presence. He promises to be with us forever. He is our guide and constant Companion as we journey through all seasons of life. He invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). In His Presence we have perfect peace. His Presence makes our joy complete. In His Presence, we have everything we need. Passionately pursue His Presence and He will enable you to fulfill His plan and purpose for your life.

Let Love Grow

Image
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. — 1 Corinthians 13:1 (AMP) If our hearts are open to receive God’s love, He continually plants seeds of love within us. His compassions are new every morning. Out of God’s love for us, we grow love and compassion for others. His love, in our hearts, will outgrow any weeds and roots of bitterness, if we let it. If we don’t accept and embrace the love God lavishes on us, we will be barren and unfruitful when it comes to loving others. The fruit of the Spirit is love, etc. (Galatians 5:22). Be fruitful. Make love the constant harvest of your heart.

Love Endures All

Image
Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. — 1 Corinthians 13:7 (AMP) True love endures ALL things, without growing weak. As Pastor Jeff Osborne preached, “there are no loopholes in love. We cannot choose when to love and when not to love.” Our earthen vessels were created to be containers of God’s love. Not closed up containers, but vessels that are open to receive God’s love and to give love back to our heavenly Father. We are to be open receptacles to let God’s love flow to everyone that comes our way. We are called to love ourselves, our neighbors, and even our enemies. Our love is to remain steadfast during difficult times. The root of bitterness and hatred cannot grow in the soil of God’s love. Let us cultivate love and have faith to believe the best of others.

“To whom shall we go?”

Image
Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” — John 6:67-69 (NKJV) Jesus is the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world (John 1:9). He is the Living Word and the Bread of Life, the very source of our strength. Jesus is the good shepherd who gives His life for the sheep (John 10:11). Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow...(Philippians 2:9-10). Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus is the answer. Why seek any other?

He Sustains Us!

I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustained me. — Psalm 3:5 (NKJV) No matter what we faced yesterday, the LORD brought us through. (Hallelujah!!!) He watched over us as we slept and gave us the strength to get up out of bed this morning. Let us give thanks and praise the LORD! Not only did He wake us up, but He also poured out new mercies and compassions upon us. Whatever life brings your way today, remember to release the weight of all your cares and burdens on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail) (Psalm 55:22, AMP). Amen!

The Foundation of Your Future

The LORD is honored because he lives on high. He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness. He will be the foundation of your future. The riches of salvation are wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is your treasure. — Isaiah 33:5-6 (GW) The LORD is exalted above all. He is a strong, sure foundation. In order to out last the storms of today and stand strong in the future, we must build our lives on Him. God keeps all of our days stable and secure. He provides an abundant supply of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. A treasure is something that is highly valued and placed in great esteem. The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is our treasure and His (Isaiah 33:6, AMP). Amen!

Take it to Jesus!

As soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet. — Mark 7:25 (NIV) As soon as this woman heard about Jesus, she went to Him and begged Jesus to heal her daughter. Because she humbled herself before the Lord, her daughter was healed, even though she was a gentile. When you have an issue, take it to Jesus! He is King of kings and Lord of lords. Nothing is too difficult for Him. And you are a child of God. You are a Holy Spirit having, family member. Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.

Rock, Fortress & Deliverer

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. Psalm 18:2 (NKJ) The Lord is the immovable Rock on w hom we stand. We will not be shaken, as we trust Him. God is our strong Fortress, in whom we take refuge, and He shelters us from the storms. The Lord is our Deliverer who rescues us from the attacks of our enemies. He alone is our saving strength with the power to save us and give us eternal life. Praise the Lord!

A Peaceful Heart

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like cancer in the bones. Proverbs 14:30 (NLT) Let us keep our hearts in the perfect peace that comes from God and Him alone. If we continually cast our cares on Him, instead of burying them inside and letting them fester then His peace will remain on us. We have a greater chance of holding onto our peace if we avoid strife and never compare ourselves to others. Remember that a peaceful heart is the way to a healthy body. Love & Peace, Jackie

Resist the Devil

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 (NIV) When we stand firm in our faith and resist the devil he will flee. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear and He also provides a way out. Remember, sin will take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and cost you more than you want to pay. Love, Jackie
