Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! — Psalms 107:28-31 (NKJV) Even though the Israelites rebelled against the words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High (See Psalms 107:11), His ear was open to hear their cries. When they turned to the Yahweh for help, He always had compassion and came to their rescue. He delivered them from all their troubles. When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” — Mark 10:47-48 (NASB1995) The crowd told the blind beggar named Bartimaeus, to be quiet, but he cried out all the more. Because he ignored the crowd and continued to call on Jesus, he regained his sight, and began following Jesus on the road. (See Mark 10:52) When those around you try to dissuade you from crying out to Jesus, ignore them. It's okay if your loud faith makes others uncomfortable. Continue to call on His name, continue to speak the Word of God and keep on believing. For Jesus said to Bartimaeus, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And once you receive from the Lord, be like Bartimaeus and continue to follow Jesus.

And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” — Matthew 20:30-31 (NASB1995) Do not let the crowd stop you from calling on our great and awesome God. Instead of being silent, cry out all the more. When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles. (Psalm 24:17 AMP) In Matthew 20:33-34, the blind men said to Jesus “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.” Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him. The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. (Psalm 103:8 NASB1995) Hallelujah! And the appropriate response to His generosity and goodness is to follow Him. As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging. And he called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” — Luke 18:35, 38-39 (NASB1995) Jesus stopped and commanded that the man be brought to Him. Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus. When he came near, Jesus asked him: “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God. They cause the poor to cry out, catching God’s attention. He hears the cries of the needy. But if he chooses to remain quiet, who can criticize him? When he hides his face, no one can find him, whether an individual or a nation. — Job 34:28-29 (NLT) Know that God hears the cries of His people. Psalm 78:35 says, the Israelites remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God their Redeemer. May we be like the Israelites, and remember that God is our rock, the stability of our times. A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. (Isaiah 33:6a) When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. (See James 4:8) The Most High God is our Redeemer. He redeems our lives from the pit, and crowns us with lovingkindness and compassion. (See Psalm 103:4)

The Eternal your God is standing right here among you, and He is the champion who will rescue you. He will joyfully celebrate over you; He will rest in His love for you; He will joyfully sing because of you like a new husband. — Zephaniah 3:17  (VOICE) Acts 7:9-10a (NLT) says: “These patriarchs were jealous of their brother Joseph, and they sold him to be a slave in Egypt. But God was with him and rescued him from all his troubles…” Just as God was with Joseph, He is with you and will rescue you from all your troubles. He is our Champion, Who goes before us and makes a way out of no way. What people mean for evil toward you, God can turn it around for good. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. — Psalm 34:17 (NKJV)

In the day of my trouble I will call upon You,  for You will answer me. — Psalm 86:7 (NKJV) When we encounter trouble of any kind, we can call upon the LORD and He will answer us. After Peter had gotten out of the boat, he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him (Matthew 14:29-31) When we cry out to Jesus for help, we give Him in all His power and glory, access to intervene in our situation. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast. — Psalm 91:15 (TPT)

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. He is near. His ears are always open to hear your voice. Like Bartimaeus, ignore those who tell you not to call upon God, cry out for Him even more. Our mighty God is faithful, He will answer. Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” “Be quiet!” the crowd yelled at them. But they only shouted louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” — Matthew 20:30-31 (NLT) So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.” So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him. (Matthew 20:32-34 NKJV) Don’t let the crowd silence you. Cry out to the Lord and He will answer you. He is full of compassion. Continually seek His face and He will be found by you. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. (Psalm 107:6 NKJV)

“…and they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and deliver you,” says the LORD. — Jeremiah 15:20 (NKJV) Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me.  He shall send from heaven and save me; (Psalm 57:1-3a NKJV) For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2 NKJV) There is nothing higher or greater than our mighty God. He is the Most High God, exalted far above anyone or anything that stands against you. Stand with Him and you shall overcome.

Keep your eyes on Him and not external circumstances. He will bring you through the storm and safely guide you to your desired haven. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (Isaiah 43:2 NLT)

My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. — Psalm 84:2 (NKJV) Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; they will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah. — Psalm 84:4 (AMP) A single day in His courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. (Psalm 84:10 NLT) No matter what life may bring our way, if we dwell in His presence, we can continue to praise the LORD. He is a living God! The tomb where Jesus was laid is empty, and He has gained the victory for us. Let us enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and come into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalm 100:4)

When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” “Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”   — Mark 10:47-48 (NLT) When the world tries to silence you, lift up your voice all the more, to our mighty God. When the circumstances you encounter leave you speechless, cry out to our living God. He is abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him (Psalm 86:6 NKJV). The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17). Cry out with your whole heart. Psalm 56:9 says, when you cry out to the LORD, then your enemies will turn back because God is for you. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. (Psalm 34:15 NKJV)

So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.” — 1 Samuel 7:8 (NKJV) In 1 Samuel 7:9, Samuel gave the LORD a burnt offering and cried out to Him for Israel, and the LORD answered him. So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel (1 Samuel 7:13a NKJV). Don’t ever stop calling upon the LORD. When we call upon Him, He will answer. (Jeremiah 33:3) First Thessalonians 5:17 (AMP) tells us to be unceasing and persistent in prayer. Let's not just pray for ourselves and the challenges we face, but also for our families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, nation and the world. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT). But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown...

Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the LORD hears my voice. — Psalm 55:17 (NLT) You can be certain that your cries do not fall on deaf ears. Whenever you call upon Him, the ear of the LORD is open to hear your cry. Not only does He hear, He also responds. He sends the answer and fulfills the need. He brings health and healing. Malachi 4:2 says, to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. For those in darkness, His light shines brightly. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness (2 Corinthians 4:6a). Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; (Psalm 32:6a NIV)

So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?” — Luke 18:7-8 (MSG) Jesus told the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. This unjust judge did not fear God, nor care about people, but he made sure a widow got justice because she kept troubling him with continual requests. (Luke 18:1-6). As disciples of Christ, may we have persistent faith. Never lose heart or give up. Surely, God will give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night. When faced with challenges, faithful men and women of God believe His Word and continually stand on it. We pray at all times. We keep showing God’s love and grace to those difficult personalities in our lives. We keep gi...

So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. — James 4:7-8 (MSG) Say “no” to the devil and his lies. Don’t fall for his tricks, distractions and temptations. When we cry out to God, He hears us and comes to the rescue. Just as a loving parent listens for the cry of their child, our God loves and us and keeps watch over us. Say “yes” to God, His ways and His will. Resist the devil and submit to our heavenly Father. He only wants the best for you. And He is able able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20 NIV).

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, — Luke 18:1 (NKJV) And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily…” Luke 18:7-8a (NKJV). But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:8-9 NIV). God is working for our good, something that is going to last forever. As you continue to pray, be encouraged and keep your hope alive.

‘If disaster comes upon us—sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.’ — 2 Chronicles 20:9 (NKJV) In the face of disaster, we will stand, in His presence. Our bodies are temples of His Holy Spirit, who is in us. We belong to Him (1 Corinthians 6:19). When we cry out to the LORD in any affliction or calamity, He will hear us and rescue us. He is the God of all comfort and His Spirit like a healing balm. Amen.

How lovely is your dwelling place, LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God . — Psalm 84:1-2 (NIV) May your soul yearn (an intense feeling of longing for something) for the courts of the LORD. We enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name (Psalm 100:4). Better is one day in His courts than a thousand anywhere else! (Psalm 84:10) We flourish in the courts of our God (Psalm 92:13). Let your heart and your flesh sing for joy to the living God!
