The Promise Keeper

Image
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not establish it? — Numbers 23:19 (LSB) God cannot lie. (See Titus 1:2) He is the Promise Keeper. He is faithful to fulfill every promise He has spoken. Yahweh watches over His Word to perform it. In Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) He says: “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” When we stand on the Word of God we are standing on solid and unchangeable ground. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. (Isaiah 40:8 NKJV)

Live with Confidence

Image
“So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!” — Romans 8:38-39 (TPT) Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children. And in the same way the world didn’t recognize Him, the world does not recognize us either. (1 John 3:1 VOICE) Whatever you are going through today, know that God’s love is greater and it never fails.

Thirst for Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. — Psalms 63:1,3-4 (NASB1995) “Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!” (Psalms 103:2-5 TPT) “I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul.” — Psalms 63:5 (TPT)

Be Firmly Rooted

Image
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NASB1995) May we walk in union with Christ, our Savior, always reflecting His character in the things we do and say, and living lives that lead others away from sin. (See Colossians 2:6 AMP) Let the seed of the Holy Scriptures fall on the good soil of your heart, and you will be deeply rooted, and continually built up in Him. Those who hear and accept God’s word produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted! (See Mark 4:20 NLT)  How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, ...

Trust YAHWEH

Image
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who makes the LORD his trust, and does not regard the proud nor those who lapse into lies. — Psalm 40:4 (AMP) When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You. In God, whose word I praise;
In God I have put my trust; I shall not fear. What can mere man do to me? (Psalm 56:3-4 AMP) Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 AMP)  O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. — Psalm 40:5 (NLT)

Refuse to Worry

Image
So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you. — Psalm 55:22 (TPT) Be still and know that He is God, a great and mighty God. Don’t let anxious thoughts run amok in your mind. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (2 Corinthians 10:5 TPT) “ Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself. ” — Matthew 6:34 (TPT)

Be Content

Image
And we must not embrace their ways by complaining—grumbling with discontent … — 1 Corinthians 10:10 (TPT) Don’t whine, complain and grumble. Instead be content and trust God. Seek His wisdom and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit in all situations. Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances. (Philippians 4:11 AMP) Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], — Philippians 2:14 (AMP)

Rely on God

Image
Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! — 2 Corinthians 12:7 (MSG) The challenges we face will keep us in constant touch with our limitations, so that we may learn not to rely on ourselves but on our mighty God. When life tries to get you down, let it push you to your knees. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. (James 5:15 AMP) Call to Him, and He will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)

Choose Life!

Image
“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.” — Deuteronomy 30:15  (NLT) Every person on this planet has a choice to make. It's not a one time decision, but a choice we make moment by moment, with each word we speak and every action we take, to follow Christ or to go astray. While the enemy wants to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus came that we may have life and that we may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10). So choose life in order that both you and your descendants may live; (Deuteronomy 30:19). Jesus said, “ I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. ” (John 8:34 MSG) Choose to walk on the narrow road that leads to everlasting life. (Matthew 7:14) You’re blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. You’re blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him. That’s right—you don’t go off on yo...

New Power

Image
With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death. — Romans 8:1-2 (MSG) Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:5 NKJV). Come out from under the dark cloud of sin and death and live free in the light of the Lord. The same power that raised Christ from the grave, is at work in those who believe. His power breaks bondages and destroys strongholds. It releases shackles and declares victory or sin and death. It triumphs over the trials and tribulations of this life. Turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that you may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who a...

What Are You Thinking?

Image
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. — Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) Your mood, and your actions, and the words that come out of your mouth, will follow what you think about the most. If you constantly think about what you don’t have, you are calling lack into your life. If you always find something to worry about, you will be full of anxiety and despair. However, if your thoughts are fixed on the LORD, that is where your trust will be and, He will keep you in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3). When you remember all the benefits we have in the LORD, you will have a grateful attitude, a joyful heart and a cheerful disposition.

Seek His Presence Continually

Image
Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) Seek the One who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things… (Psalm 103:3-5 NIV). Never forget or take for granted all the wonderful benefits He bestows upon us. Continually seek Him, before anyone or anything else.

Our Safe Sanctuary

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalm 9:9-10 (NKJV) The LORD is a safe sanctuary, in times of trouble. Keep your trust in Him and you will not be disappointed. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him (Psalm 2:12). Abide in Him, at all times, whether good or bad. The LORD is a strong tower and a mighty fortress. He will not abandon those who seek Him.

To God be the Glory!

I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. — Isaiah 42:8 (NKJV) God created the heavens and spread out the earth. He gives breath and spirit to all who walk the earth (Isaiah 42:5). Let’s not spend more time on facebook or in front of the television, than we do in fellowship with our heavenly Father. He is our constant Companion. Let’s not set aside the BEST, in search of something better. God gave us His best when He claimed us as His own, brought us into His family and lavished His love on us. May we give Him all the glory and praise, He is so worthy!

The Ultimate Question

So Pilate again asked them, “Then what should I do with the king of the Jews?” — Mark 15:12 (GW) The question each of us must ask ourselves everyday is, “What am I going to do with Jesus?” The soldiers, chief priests and scribes made fun of Him. Pilate handed Him over to be crucified. Others rejected Jesus, while others bowed down and worshiped Him. The disciples accepted Jesus as the Son of God, their Lord and their Savior and affected the whole world with their faithfulness. What are you going to do with Jesus? The answer to this question marks your final destination for all of eternity as heaven or hell. When you choose to follow Jesus Christ, you choose life!

Perfect and Proven

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? Psalm 18:30-31 (NKJ) God’s way is perfect. His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8). All the LORD’s promises have proven to be true. His word that goes forth from His mouth does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes His desire, and achieves the purpose for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:11). Let us follow the wise ways of the LORD, our God and stand on His wonderful word.

Our Great God

Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. Psalm 77:13-14 (NIV) How great is our God! Nothing is too difficult for Him. In the day of trouble, seek the LORD. With His mighty arm, He displays His power among the people. Nothing can stand in His way. No plan of His can be thwarted. Our God is a mighty, mighty God. Love, Jackie

Building Others Up

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29 (NIV) The words we speak are supposed to edify and build others up. If you are calling the people in your life, stupid, dumb, good for nothing, fat, greedy, etc., you are tearing them down and crushing their spirits. Instead of speaking negative into someone's life, make it a habit to speak loving, kind and uplifting words every chance you get to make a deposit into another person's life. May your words be beneficial to all who hear them. Love, Jackie
