Return to YAHWEH

“I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” — Isaiah 44:22 (NLT) This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it. (Isaiah 30:15 NLT) Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. (Isaiah 55:7 NLT) “What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? (See Isaiah 45:9) Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. (Acts 3:19-20 NLT)

Always Ready

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude” — Psalms 46:1-3 (NLT) Not only is Yahweh able, He is also ready and willing to help us. For I know that the LORD is great and that our Lord is above all gods. (Psalms 135:5 NASB1995) I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to stumble; He who keeps you will not slumber. Turn to God

Who is among you that fears Yahweh, that listens to the voice of His Servant, that walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahweh and rely on his God. — Isaiah 50:10 (LSB) “I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die and of the son of a man who will be made like grass? And you forget the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth...” (Isaiah 51:12-13a NKJV) “Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalms 46:10 LSB) “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.” (See Isaiah 45:22) “…And all flesh will know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (See Isaiah 49:26b LSB) Turn to Yahweh and never turn away.

Hold Fast

…Christ is faithful as a Son over His [Father’s] house. And we are His house if we hold fast our confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ]. — Hebrews 3:6 (AMP) Let us not grow weary or discouraged. For we [believers] have become partakers of Christ [sharing in all that the Messiah has for us], if only we hold firm our newborn confidence [which originally led us to Him] until the end,  (Hebrews 3:14 AMP) Never let go of the hope that is set before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. (Hebrews 6:19 NLT) This hope [this confident assurance]… cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it. (See Hebrews 6:19 AMP) Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. (See 1 Corinthians 16:13)

Seek the Lord

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; — Acts 17:26-27 (NKJV) We have all been appointed by God to be on the earth for such a time as this. May the world condition and the current circumstances of our lives, drive us to seek after God, and His Kingdom, first and foremost. His purpose was for every nation, culture, race and religion to seek after Him, the LORD, our Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. Acts 17:27 (VOICE) says: “ His purpose in all this was that people of every culture and religion would search for this ultimate God, grope for Him in the darkness, as it were, hoping to find Him. ” Without Jesus, the Light of the World, we are all in the dark. Go!

“Sir,” Gideon replied, “if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say, ‘The LORD brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.” Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!” — Judges 6:13-14 (NLT) Never believe that the LORD has abandoned you. He is with you forever. God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1 NLT) Go, with the strength you have and He will take care of the rest.

Rely on Him

Place your trust in the Eternal; rely on Him completely; never depend upon your own ideas and inventions. — Proverbs 3:5 (VOICE) Listen carefully, those of you who make your plans and say, “We are traveling to this city in the next few days. We’ll stay there for one year while our business explodes and revenue is up.” The reality is you have no idea where your life will take you tomorrow. You are like a mist that appears one moment and then vanishes another. It would be best to say, “If it is the Lord’s will and we live long enough, we hope to do this project or pursue that dream.” (James 4:13-15 VOICE) Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. — Proverbs 3:6 (NLT)

Know the Truth

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31-32 (NLT) In John 14:6 (NASB), Jesus said , “ I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. ” Jesus is the truth. The only way to know the truth is to know Jesus, to have a personal, intimate relationship with the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Open your heart today and receive Him as your Savior and the Lord of your life. It’s only in knowing Jesus and all He did for us that we can truly live an abundant life of freedom, peace and joy. Amen!

Just a Touch

...behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” — Matthew 9:18 (NKJV) When Jesus went in and took the ruler’s daughter by the hand, the girl arose. (Matthew 9:25)  When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened… (Matthew 9:27, 29-30) In Matthew 8:14-15, Jesus saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. A touch from Jesus makes dead things, come alive again. Those with blind eyes are able to see again, after a touch of His hand. His touch brings healing, strength and restoration. What or who in your life needs to be touched by Jesus? No Turning Back!

…I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. — Philippians 3:14 (MSG) The rear view mirror is smaller than the windshield because where you are going is much more significant than where you have been. Forget those things which are behind you and reach forward to what lies ahead. (Philippians 3:13). God is calling us onward & upward! “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:18-19a NIV)

Blessed in Believing

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” — Luke 1:45 (NKJV) Those who believe the Word of the Lord are blessed. “For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37 NKJV). No word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment (Luke 1:37 AMP). His word does not return to Him void. He causes the barren to conceive. He gives life to that which is dead. Your situation is not too difficult for God to handle. Only believe and stand on His Word.

Lead Me!

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalm 61:1-2 (NKJV) Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope and expectation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken (Psalm 62:5-6). When your heart is overwhelmed, wait on the LORD to show you the way. Step by step, He will keep you on the path that leads to ultimate victory in the battles you face.

Who Do You Follow?

The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me. — John 10:27 (AMP) Jesus is the good shepherd and He calls His sheep by name. His sheep consistently listen for his voice. They recognize His voice and respond by following Him, wherever He leads. John 10:5 says, His sheep will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers. Be careful which voice you listen to and who you follow.

Cling to Him

On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your right hand upholds me. — Psalm 63:6-8 (NIV) May we cling to Abba Father for dear life. When we closely follow Him, nothing comes in between us and our heavenly Father. Don't let anything distract you and lead you away from the LORD and His unfailing love. With a grateful heart, meditate upon His goodness. He faithfully holds you up with His right hand.

Easy & Light

“Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Place my yoke over your shoulders, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble. Then you will find rest for yourselves because my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (GW) Are you tired? Jesus says, “Come to Me!” Cast all your anxiety, worries, and concerns on Him because he affectionately cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Go on a retreat with Jesus and He will show you how to take a real rest. “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15).

What's on Your Mind?

Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life. Proverbs 4:23 (NCV) As a person thinks, so is he or she. Anxious thoughts make us upset and troubled. When our thoughts are fixed on the Lord, we are kept in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). So, all of you holy brothers and sisters, who were called by God, think about Jesus, who was sent to us and is the high priest of our faith (Hebrews 3:1, NCV).

All Your Needs

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (NLT) In all of the Apostle Paul's trials and tribulations, God generously supplied all he needed. Paul says, this same God will supply all your needs. God does not change and He is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34 KJV). Trust your heavenly Father to amply supply all your needs in every area of life. Love, Jackie

My Help

I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV) Look to the LORD, your Maker. He is your helper. You cannot lose with God on your side. He has given you the victory. Glory Hallelujah!  Love, Jackie

Rely on His Love

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:15-16 (NIV) The love the Father has for us is so great, He calls us His children. We can count on the love of God.
