“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” — Matthew 6:33-34 (NKJV) Don’t worry about all the doom and gloom taking place in this world. Don’t let it distract you. First and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) God’s kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right…] (See Matthew 6:33 AMP). In John 16:33 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5 NKJV)

With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. — 2 Samuel 22:29-30 (NIV) As followers of Christ and ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, let us advance and take territory for His kingdom. As a good soldier of Jesus Christ, let us not draw back, but continually seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We take ground for the Kingdom of God as we invade the darkness with His light and His love. We take ground for the Kingdom as we combat the forces of darkness with love, peace, and the Word of truth, that sets people free. “ Prepare your shields, and advance into battle! ” (Jeremiah 46:3 NLT) For the battle belongs to the LORD and He has given us the victory!

Seek the One whom the winds and the sea obey (Matthew 8:27). Seek the One who causes the dead to live again (John 11:43-44). He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow] (Psalm 147:3 AMP). Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.
