Manna for Your Morning

For the high and exalted One He who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy says this,
“I dwell on the high and holy place, but also with the contrite and humble in spirit in order to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite [overcome with sorrow for sin].” — Isaiah 57:15 (AMP) Even though He dwells in the high and holy place, the everlasting God, the Creator of Heaven and earth, is also with us. He will revive (give new strength and energy to) your spirit and your heart. Do not fear anything, for the great “I AM” dwells with those who are humble and have a repentant heart. Do not anxiously look about you, for He is your God. He will strengthen you, surely He will help you, surely He will uphold you with His righteous right hand. (See Isaiah 41:10) Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all. (Psalm 34:19 AMP) Amen.

However, He also lives with those of a humble and repentant heart. He restores the crushed spirit and revives the heart of the contrite. And what does the LORD require of us? To do what is right, to diligently practice kindness, and to walk humbly with our God. (Micah 6:8) “ … I live in the high and holy place, yet I am with the low, the weak, and the humble.
