God’s a safe-house for the battered, a sanctuary during bad times. You may be perplexed but don’t be driven to despair. You may be persecuted but you are never abandoned by God. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9) Even when you walk through the darkest valley, have no fear, because the LORD is with you, to protect, to guide, and to comfort. You can count on the LORD, no matter what. He will never, neglect those who come to Him for help. And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You.  — Psalm 9:10 (AMP )

But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. — Acts 13:51-52 (NKJV) When the Jews persecuted the Apostle Paul and Barnabas for preaching the Word to the gentiles, they shook the dust from their feet and moved on to the next town. When we are walking in the will of God and others refuse to accept us, we have to know when to shake the dust off our feet and move on down the road. Refuse to let the enemy steal your joy!

We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NKJV) In 2 Corinthians 1:8-9, the Apostle Paul spoke of the troubles they experienced. He says, they were crushed and overwhelmed beyond their ability to endure, and thought they would never live through it. In fact, he says, they expected to die. But as a result, they stopped relying on themselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. When troubles press in on us from every side, may we learn to rely on God. Keep things in the proper perspective. With all that has come against us, we are not destroyed. Praise God that we are still alive and we can always count on Him to bring us through whatever comes our way!

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me. — Micah 7:8 (NKJV)  When we fall, we shall get up again. We may be hard-pressed on every side, yet we are not crushed; we may be perplexed, but we are not in despair; we may be persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). In those dark moments of your life, the LORD will will enlighten your darkness and show you the way. Arise and walk In the light of the LORD!

We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9  (NCV) Look at the troubles before you, as opportunities for God to display His greatness. No matter what hostile environments we must endure, God is there with us. We are not abandoned nor forgotten. We may get hurt, but we are not destroyed. Never give up the hope of living the abundant and fruitful life Jesus came to give us (John 10:10).

Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. — 1 Corinthians 15:8 (NKJV) There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NAS). The Apostle Paul, persecuted the church of God, until the appointed time: that day on the road to Damascus, when the Lord opened his eyes to see the light of the truth (Acts 9). In due time, Sarah gave birth to the child of promise. What might you give birth to, in due time?  Do not grow weary in doing well. Passionately pursue your dreams, and in due time you will see the fruit of your labor.

At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, — 2 Timothy 4:16-17a (NKJV)  Although people may desert you when you need them most, the Lord is faithful. He will never abandon you. Not only does He stand with you, He gives you the strength to stand. You may be hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; you may be perplexed, but not in despair; you may be persecuted, but not forsaken; you may be struck down, but, praise God, you are not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)!

I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Whatever life brings our way, we are not defeated, nor destroyed and we will never be abandoned by God. So, don't ever give up the HOPE of living a victorious life!

If we fall, we will arise again. If circumstances appear to be dark, look for the light of the LORD and follow Him.

God's love will never run out on you. When you pass through the waters, the LORD will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2). “The LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:8) He is with you and will deliver you from all your troubles!

In every way we’re troubled, but we aren’t crushed by our troubles. We’re frustrated, but we don’t give up. We’re persecuted, but we’re not abandoned. We’re captured, but we’re not killed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (GW) No matter how many troubles you may have, the LORD delivers the righteous out of ALL their troubles (Psalm 34:17). Don't allow your frustrations to drive you to despair. Remember that God is with you! He has not run out on you. God will lead you through every adversity to the other side. He will take you to a higher place. Amen!

We may get frustrated, but we don’t give up. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17). No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We are children of God and everyone born of God overcomes the world, because the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. Amen!
