Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. — Psalms 29:1-2 (NKJV) Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with songs of praise. For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods. (Psalms 95:1-3) There is no one holy like Yahweh; Indeed, there is no one besides You, nor is there any rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2 LSB) Worship only God! Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood; Indeed, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:10-11 LSB) Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:3) Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Give to Yahweh the glory due His name.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? — Psalms 8:3-4 (NKJV) O Yahweh, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. (Psalm 55:22 NASB1995) Release all your cares and concerns to Yahweh, and do not pick them back up again. Nothing is too difficult for our mighty God to handle. Then Jesus said, “ Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. ” (Matthew 11:28-30 NLT)

“ And now my soul is poured out because of my plight; The days of affliction take hold of me. My bones are pierced in me at night, and my gnawing pains take no rest. But when I looked for good, evil came to me; and when I waited for light, then came darkness. Out of my deep anguish and pain I prayed, and God, you helped me as a father. You came to my rescue and broke open the way into a beautiful and broad place. Now I know, Lord, that you are for me, and I will never fear what man can do to me. — Psalm 118:5-6 (TPT) How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! The LORD protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. (Psalm 116:5-7 NLT) Far better to take refuge in God than trust in people.

His wrap-around presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength. The seed that fell on rock is like those who hear God’s teaching and accept it gladly, but they don’t allow the teaching to go deep into their lives. They believe for a while, but when trouble comes, they give up. — Luke 8:13 (NCV) Let the Word go deep and permeate your heart, your mind and your life. Then you will not be inclined to give up. Don’t let the troubles and cares of this world choke the Word of life out of you. Instead, be like those who receive the Word on good ground. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion,  “Your God reigns!” — Isaiah 52:7 (NKJV) Let us bring the good news of Jesus wherever we go. For God's kingdom is about righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17) Our Savior invites everyone to come to Him. Our God is good and He fills our lives with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:5) No matter what the current circumstances, our God reigns! He is a mighty God and nothing is too difficult for Him. “Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the LORD God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. (Isaiah 26:4)

So Jesus said to the twelve [disciples], “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Simon Peter answered, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You [alone] have the words of eternal life [you are our only hope].  — John 6:67 (AMP) In John 6:48 & 51, Jesus was teaching that He is the living bread that came down from heaven, the bread that gives life. He also said whoever eats this bread will live forever. But some of the people did not believe and from that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. (John 6:64,66). But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (John 6:68-69 NKJV). May you believe and know, without a doubt, that Jesus is our only hope. The only true hope we have to offer this world is Jesus, the giver of life.

When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? — Psalm 118:5-6 (NIV) When hard pressed, instead of running to your Pastor or phoning a friend, let your first course of action be to call upon the LORD God Almighty, your Creator and Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of your faith. Those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31 NLT). Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 NLT). Amen!

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; — Colossians 4:2 (NKJV) In Jeremiah 33:3, the LORD promises that when we call to Him, He will answer and show us great and mighty things, which we do not know. Let us continue earnestly in prayer and remember to thank God for the answer. James 1:16b (NLT) says, the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. The Amplified version says: the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. Our sincere prayers that come from deep within our hearts, make TREMENDOUS POWER available. Hallelujah! and Amen!

Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your fame, O LORD, throughout all generations. — Psalm 135:13 (NKJV) Why do we place so much emphasis on things which are here today and gone tomorrow? These are the things the Apostle Paul counted as rubbish when it came to pursuing his relationship with Christ. (See Philippians 3:7-9) Don’t look at the troubles you see now; rather, fix your gaze on things that cannot be seen (God’s eternal love and mercy, etc.). For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18, NLT). Fellowship with our heavenly Father is the one thing that is above all and nothing in this world can take Him away from us. Amen!

Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah  — Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) God didn't just put us here on earth and forget about us. He is an interactive God. He is not a distant, unconcerned father. Instead He is intimately acquainted with every detail of our lives. He showers us with new compassions every morning. He is there to bottle each tear that falls from your face. Our heavenly Father daily loads us with benefits. He forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, and redeems our lives from destruction. The LORD crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:3-4). Praise the Lord!

So the king gave the order, and Daniel was brought to him and thrown into the lions’ den.  Daniel 6:16 (GW) Ever feel like you are in the lion's den, surrounded by the enemy? Daniel was thrown into the lions' den for praying and praising God. However, when he was taken out of the den, Daniel was completely unharmed because he trusted God (Daniel 6:23). Today, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. But remember, He who is in you is GREATER than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). And no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). TRUST GOD!

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) Let us build our lives on Jesus Christ, the everlasting Rock. May our roots grow deeper in Him each day as we produce much fruit in the garden of the Lord. Your faith will be strengthened in the truth and songs of thanksgiving will burst forth from your heart and fill the air with a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.” Isaiah 12:5-6 (NLT) Jehovah-Shammah is the God who is always there. He never leaves you or forsakes you. In the fullness of His power and glory, He dwells in you and around you. No matter where you are or how alone you feel, God is there. Wrap yourself in His arms of love, be comforted by His compassion. Let Him guide you with His wisdom and knowledge. Allow His peace to permeate your being. So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, purify yourselves and change your clothes. Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone." Genesis 35:2-3 (NIV) Jacob instructed his family to change clothes as part of their preparation to worship God. Similarly, the Apostle Paul instructs believers to take off the old self with its evil practices and clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (Colossians 3:12).
