Rescued!

Image
Grace to you and shalom from God our Father and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah— who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father— to Him be the glory forever and ever! Amen. — Galatians 1:3-5 (TLV) No matter how chaotic this world becomes, remember, Yeshua has overcome the world. In John 16:33 (NKJV) Yeshua said:  “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We overcome because He has overcome. “It is finished!” (See John 19:30) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 NKJV) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5 NKJV) Be courageous [be confident, be...

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
“ God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfill it? ” — Numbers 23:19 (AMP) Jeremiah 32:17 (LSB) says: “Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You…” As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; (See Psalms 18:30) We can be certain that the word which Yahweh speaks will come to pass. In Isaiah 55:11 (LSB) He says: “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what pleases Me, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appro...

Don't Fret

Image
Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. — Psalm 37:7 (NLT) Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. They lie awake at night, hatching sinful plots. Their actions are never good. They make no attempt to turn from evil. (Psalm 36:1, 4 NLT) The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. (Psalm 10:4 NLT) The wicked will go down to the grave. This is the fate of all the nations who ignore God. But the needy will not be ignored forever; the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed. (Psalm 9:17-18 NLT) God is NOT dead. Put your hope in the living LORD. Travel steadily along his path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed. (See Psalm 37:34 NLT)  Follow the LORD our God and fear Him. Keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him. (See Deuter...

Believe

Image
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.”   “…for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.” — John 14:1, 16:27 (NASB1995) In John 16:33 (VOICE), Yeshua said: “I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order.” As we abide in Christ, we can have perfect peace in the midst of difficulties, tribulation, and suffering because He has overcome this world and His victory stands forever. As we remain in Him, we are not under the circumstances of this world, but above them. We are citizens in the Kingdom of God, which is a matter of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let...

Our Safe Place

Image
Keep me safe, O mighty God. I run to you, my safe place. I said to Yahweh, “You are my Maker and my Master. Any good thing you find in me has come from you.” — Psalms 16:1-2 (TPT) Run to the God Most High. He is our safe place. “Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!” (Psalms 16:5-6 TPT) Choose God first, just as He chose you, before He laid the foundation of the earth. When the enemy shames you and makes you want to hide from God, run even faster to our heavenly Father. His arms are open wide to embrace you and hold you close to Him. “The way you counsel me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because I set you, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence...

Bless the LORD

Image
Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul is satisfied as with fat and fatness, and my mouth offers praises with joyful lips. — Psalm 63:3-5 (NASB) O True God, You are my God, the One whom I trust. I seek You with every fiber of my being. In this dry and weary land with no water in sight, my soul is dry and longs for You. My body aches for You, for Your presence. (Psalm 63:1 VOICE) You have been my constant helper; therefore, I sing for joy under the protection of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand reaches down and holds me up. (Psalm 63:7-8 VOICE) Bless the LORD at all times, because His lovingkindness is better than life. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who cr...

This is the Day

Image
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) …our heart rejoices in Him, because we trust in His holy name. (Psalm 33:21) We can rejoice today because God is with us and nothing that happens today will catch Him by surprise. The LORD has already made a way for us. He only is my rock and my salvation; My fortress and my defense, I will not be shaken or discouraged. (Psalm 62:6 AMP)

Believe Big

Image
And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. — 2 Corinthians 9:8  (AMP) Our gracious God is able! When we set our hearts to do a good work, He will make a way. Believe God for big things: missionary trips, ministries, etc. Expand the tent of your mind. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 NASB)

Long for Him

Image
Therefore the LORD waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them]. — Isaiah 30:18 (AMP) No matter how circumstances appear today, know that God is working everything together for your good, if you love God, and are called according to His purpose. May your soul long for the living God more than anyone or anything else. He will never fail you. Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. (Proverbs 4:25 NLT) “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9  NLT)

He'll Carry Your Load

Image
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:28-29 (NLT) Are you tired? Maybe you're carrying a burden the LORD never intended for you to carry. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). Just like any good parent, our heavenly Father doesn't want to see us struggle under the load of heavy burdens. Put whatever concerns you have, in God's more than capable hands. Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders— he’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out. He’ll never let good people topple into ruin. (Psalm 55:22 MSG) Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. (Psalm 68:19 NIV)

Circumcision of the Heart

Image
No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people. — Romans 2:29 (NLT) When we open our hearts to Jesus, we need to lay on His surgery table and let Him cut away anything that is not of Him. While the cutting may involve some pain, it is pain with a glorious purpose. Let Him cut away the areas of your heart that have grown cold and hard, areas infested with unforgiveness, bitterness, and hatred. If we stay on the table of His grace and mercy, He will cut away pride, and give us a humble and grateful heart, that seeks praise from God and Him alone. A circumcised heart will allow the Holy Spirit to produce this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! (Galatians 5:22-23 N...

Come Home!

Image
“And you, because of my blood covenant with you, I’ll release your prisoners from their hopeless cells. Come home, hope-filled prisoners! This very day I’m declaring a double bonus— everything you lost returned twice-over!” — Zechariah 9:11-13 (MSG) Anxiety, fear, or depression, no longer has dominion over you. The LORD has released us from any hopeless cells of despair the enemy had enclosed around us. No matter how hopeless your situation may appear, keep your hope in our wonder-working God alive. Come home to the Land of Hope! Be held captive by the hope you have in your heart for our living God and His mighty power to save and deliver. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us…(Romans 5:5 NLT).

Practice Being Faithful!

Image
Trust the LORD, and do good things. Live in the land, and practice being faithful. Be happy with the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.  — Psalm 37:3-4 (GW) Faithfulness is a way of life. The more we practice using our faith muscle, the stronger it becomes. Hebrews 10:38 says, “now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” Instead of drawing back, consistently take steps of faith, always moving toward what God has called you to. Sometimes only a step is needed, at other times, it's more like a leap. However, when we TRUST in the LORD, we will take take that plunge into the unknown depths of our glorious, extraordinary future, and God will bring everything into clear focus, little by little. Amen!

Trust & Hope in the LORD!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.” — Jeremiah 17:7 (NKJV) The person who trusts in the LORD, shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:8). Seasons come and seasons go, but the LORD remains faithful through them all! Do not fret, fear or be anxious. No matter how hopeless things appear, be confident that our great God will provide everything you need, in every area of life.

He is Still with You!

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:17-18 (NLT) Never listen to the enemy when he says, "God doesn't care about you." The thoughts God has about you outnumber the grains of sand. He knows the number of hairs on your head. He keeps track of all our sorrows and collects all our tears in His bottle. He has recorded each one in His book (Psalm 56:8, NLT). We can lie down and sleep in peace because the LORD keeps us safe (Psalm 4:8). When we wake up, He is still with us! Praise the LORD.
