In God We Trust

Image
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. — Proverbs 3:5 (NLT) Do not rely on your own insight or understanding. We have a limited vision, we know in part. And sometimes we get carried away by our emotions or led astray by listening to the wrong voices. Instead, rely on God, who wrote the Book and sees the whole picture. Let us trust in the LORD, He has a lasting legacy of fulfilling all His promises. As you seek His will, He will show you which path to take, where to turn and when to keep straight. He will see you through each and every one of life events and circumstances.

Rise Up & Build!

Image
And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the LORD my God...  — 1 Kings 5:5 (NKJV) God prepared in advance, good works for us to do. What are you building for the LORD? For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10). King Solomon purposed in his heart to build God a house. Be a contributing member of God's labor force. Purpose in your heart to do a good work, prepare and persevere. Let's rise up and build!  Why? To leave a legacy for our children’s children, to give glory to God, and to show the lost there is a place where they belong!

Everlasting Covenant of Peace

For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you. — Isaiah 54:10 (NKJV) The LORD has established a covenant of peace with His people. And God is faithful to keep His Word. His covenant lasts forever and extends to every generation. When we bring our children up in the peaceful, loving Presence of God, we are passing on a legacy of God’s love and peace. Isaiah 54:13 says, all your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children. When children are given that foundation of faith by their earthly parents, teachers, etc., they have a good strong root system of being planted in the LORD. May we continually plant seeds of God’s love and peace in the young people who are within our sphere of influence.

Be a Living Legacy!

One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. — Psalm 145:4 (NKJV) Let us declare the mighty acts that God has done and praise Him for all He is doing in our lives. The Apostle Paul told the believers in Corinth, their very lives were a letter, written on hearts, known and read by everyone (2 Corinthians 3:2). Be a living legacy for your children, family, friends and co-workers. As they see you making God first priority, speaking His Word over your circumstances, standing on God's promises, and keeping the faith, it will leave an imprint on their hearts and a legacy for them to follow.
