You will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in You, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You. — Isaiah 26:3 (VOICE) True peace is not found in material riches, behind a gate-guarded community, or in any other set of favorable external circumstances. This is all temporary. We find true peace when we continually trust in YAHWEH,  the everlasting God (El Olam). It is the LORD who gives His people strength and blesses us with peace. (See Psalm 29:11) He keeps in perfect and constant peace those whose hearts are committed to Him and whose minds are set on Him.
 Trust YAHWEH and take refuge in Him, with hope and confident expectation. Depend on God and keep at it because in the LORD God you have a sure thing. (See Isaiah 26:3-6 MSG) Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. — John 10:10 (NLT) Every minute the enemy can get you to worry about the future or feel guilty about the past is valuable time he has stolen away from you. The most precious gift we have at any given moment is to enjoy the Presence of our great God. In His Presence, we experience true peace and fullness of joy. As long as the enemy can get you to worry, be anxious or fearful, he has destroyed any chance of you living the rich and satisfying life Jesus came to give you. Worry is a distraction that drains the energy and passion you need to pursue and fulfill the wonderful purpose and plans God has for you. Let him who steals, steal no longer. Cast all your cares on the LORD and totally trust Him with every area of your life.

As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. — John 6:57 (NKJV) What are you feeding on? When we feed on the things of this world, we get worldly results: temporary pleasures that leave us empty and unfulfilled, or anxious and in despair. When we feed on Jesus, we will be richly satisfied. Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35 NKJV). He will show us the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). As we feed on Him, we experience true peace. Feed on Him today, and let His life-giving nutrients spread throughout your mind, heart and entire being.

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. — Colossians 2:9-10 (NLT) In Christ, we have everything we need. When we come to Him anxious and fearful, He gives us true peace, strength and courage. When we are emotionally wiped out, He refreshes our souls. When we come to Him broken, He heals us and fills in the gaps. When we come to Him empty, He fills us with joy, hope and a more abundant life. The Message Bible says: You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. Colossians 2:9-10 (MSG)

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” — Luke 6:27-28 (NIV) When we restrain that fleshly inclination to strike back at those who come against us, and instead, love them with the unconditional love God has given to us, we allow His light to shine through us and draw others into His kingdom. Our peace is not based on the condition that people treat us the way we think they should. True peace and fullness of joy comes when we walk in the will and ways of our heavenly Father. In Luke 6:46, Jesus asks, “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?”
