Manna for Your Morning

O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Oh, fear Yahweh, you His saints; For there is no want to those who fear Him. — Psalms 34:8-9 (LSB) Praise Yah! Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever. (Psalms 106:1 LSB) I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:1-3 LSB) In Isaiah 55:2-3 (NKJV) the LORD says: “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me…” Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. And let all the people say, “Amen.” Praise Yah! (Psalms 106:48 LSB)

“How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! The LORD protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the LORD’s presence as I live here on earth!” — Psalms 116:5-9 (NLT) “What can I offer the LORD for all he has done for me? Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. The LORD is good, a strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him. — Nahum 1:7 (AMP) In Isaiah 29:13 (NKJV), the Lord said, “…these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me…” Yahweh is good and it is good for us to draw near to Him, with sincere hearts. Let us make the Lord GOD our refuge and place our trust in Him alone. Be sure to tell of all His wonderful works. (See Psalms 73:28 AMP) “Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting.” (James (Jacob) 4:8 TPT) “But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!” — Psalms 73:28 (TPT)

The LORD is good, a strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him. — Nahum 1:7 (AMP) Yahweh is a strong defense in the day of distress, and He knows those who take refuge in Him. (See Nahum 1:7-8 LSB). Make a decision to continually trust in Yahweh, regardless of how circumstances may appear, and you will not be disappointed. God is good. Anything He instructs us to do or not to do, is for our benefit. Like any loving parent, He wants the best for His children. The LORD is our light. (See Psalms 27:1) He is love and He is life. Any other way we choose to go takes us toward darkness, destruction and death.  The LORD is slow to anger and great in power and He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust beneath His feet. — Nahum 1:3 (AMP)
