That’s why we live with such good cheer. You won’t see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don’t get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. ‘‘Do not fear, for I am with you;  Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,  surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’’ — Isaiah 41:10 (NASB) When we go through difficult times, we never have to feel like we are all alone. Not only is our God with us, but He promises to help us and to hold us up. The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (2 Chronicles 16:9a NLT). Every setback is a set-up for God to show Himself mighty and strong on your behalf. Persevere through the pain and the problems because He has a higher purpose a greater plan. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11). The LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before his troubles began. (Job 42:10)

“This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:12-13 (NLT) The Message Bible says it this way: “This is my command: Love one another the way I loved you. This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends.” (John 15:12-13 MSG). The best way for us to love each other is the way Jesus loved us. His love is unconditional and it never fails. His love never runs out on us. Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. (Galatians 6:1 NLT). It’s love that will lead one to repent, not condemnation. You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. (Psalm 86:5 NIV)

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. — Matthew 6:34 (MSG) Instead of dreading what may come in the future, put your attention on all the great works which the LORD is doing in your midst today. Do not be anxious about anything, but put your trust in God. The goodness of God endures continually (Psalm 52:1 NKJV). Give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:31)  Remain in His peace, the LORD will perfect that which concerns you. Amen!

And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. — Exodus 28:2 (NKJV) God’s glory and beauty dwells within us in the form of His Holy Spirit. We are to let the fullness of His glory and beauty shine through us as we clothe ourselves in holy garments. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (Colossians 3:12, NIV). Colossians 3:13 instructs us to bear with each other and forgive one another, as the Lord has forgiven us. That is a beautiful thing! And over all these virtues, we are to put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity (Colossians 3:14, NIV). As we continuously wear these attributes wherever we go, we are a reflection of God's glory and beauty. Amen!

A righteous person may fall seven times, but he gets up again. However, in a disaster wicked people fall. — Proverbs 24:16 (GW) When the enemy knocks you down, you don’t have to stay down. We may be struck down, but we are not destroyed. The righteous are never defeated, because we already have the victory in Jesus! If you have fallen, declare the words of Micah 7:8, “Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” Arise, and shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1)

Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”  He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.  — Matthew 8:24-26 (NIV) If you are in the boat with Jesus, you have NOTHING to fear. It may seem that He is asleep, but rest assured, Jesus will bring you through the storms. He even brings peace and calm in the midst of the storm. And you will safely arrive at the beautiful destination God has for you. So choose today whether you are going to live in fear or FAITH!

Happy are those who don't listen to the wicked, who don't go where sinners go, who don't do what evil people do. They love the Lord's teachings, and they think about those teachings day and night. They are strong, like a tree planted by a river. The tree produces fruit in season, and its leaves don't die. Everything they do will succeed. Psalm 1:1-3 (NCV) Those who delight in following the teachings of the LORD and meditate on his Word day and night experience lasting success. They will be happy, strong and fruitful in season.

I will send terror ahead of you that will force the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites out of your way. But I will not force all those people out in only one year. If I did, the land would become a desert and the wild animals would become too many for you. Instead, I will force those people out slowly, until there are enough of you to take over the land. Exodus 23:28-30 (NCV) God drove the enemies of the Israelites out of their Promised Land little by little until they were able to take care of the land. This Scripture is a reminder of how things happen according to God's perfect timing. He will not give us more than we can handle.
