Manna for Your Morning

Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. — Psalms 34:12-14 (NLT) May we bind the deeds of darkness (See Matthew 8:18) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. (Proverbs 18:21 AMP) Speak words of life to build up versus beat down. Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. (Psalms 37:3 NASB1995) 

In this way, King Hezekiah handled the distribution throughout all Judah, doing what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God. In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful. — 2 Chronicles 31:20-21 (NLT) Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) says: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. King Hezekiah experienced this Scripture. Let us do what is pleasing and good in the sight of Yahweh. Wisdom brings success, and the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. (See Ecclesiastes 10:10 & Proverbs 9:10 NKJV) May we have a reverent fear of the LORD our God and wholeheartedly follow Him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person... Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’ (Hosea 10:12 NLT) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  (Galatians 6:7 NKJV)

“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.” — Luke 6:27-28 (NLT) Yeshua repeats this command. It is no mistake. “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.” (Luke 6:35-36 NLT) May we be willing to listen and eager to obey the teaching of Yeshua, our Savior and Lord. In Luke 6:46 (NASB1995), Yeshua asks: “ Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? ”

Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (AMP) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21) What is good? It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalm 92:1)  Micah 6:8 (NLT) says: …the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. The Amplified Bible adds: …setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness. Psalm 34:14 (NKJV) instructs us to depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. We are to be loving, generous, kind and compassionate to others (regardless of color, race, religious preference, etc), not as a way of earning points with YAHWEH or to have something to brag about, but to partner with Him and be His representative (ambassador) on earth. The LORD is good. His faithful love endures forever (See Jeremiah 33:11 NLT) It is good to sing praises to our [gracious and majestic] God. Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.” — Luke 6:38 (AMP) Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.  (James 1:17 NASB) God continually pours out His love upon us. He gives us His peace and grace. He forgives us and sets us free. As God has freely given to us, let us give freely to others. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favor. — Proverbs 11:25 (TPT)

Believe in the Eternal, and do what is good— live in the land He provides; roam, and rest in God’s faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (VOICE) The Amplified Bible says to trust, rely on and have confidence in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed securely on His faithfulness. (Psalm 37:3) When we rely on Him to work in us and through us, His perfect will is accomplished. Let us put more confidence in our great God than we do earthly events, that doctor’s report, or the balance of our bank account, etc. Trust God to handle everything that concerns you and He will keep you in perfect peace. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Amen.

For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. — Romans 14:17 (NLT) When we do what is right, pursue peace with all people, and maintain our joy, we are living a Kingdom life. Let us depart from evil, and do good and we will dwell forevermore. (Psalm 37:27 NKJV) Psalm 106:3 says, blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times! He who sows righteousness will have a sure reward. (Proverbs 11:18) Those who dwell in His Kingdom work at living in peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14 NLT). It doesn’t say it’s going to be easy. It is going to require some work. And the 3rd key to living a kingdom life is to rejoice always and delight in your faith; (1 Thessalonians 5:16 AMP) May we abide in the kingdom of God. His Way is much better and way more beneficial than the ways of this world.

Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. — Psalm 37:3-5 (NLT) Why try to figure things out on your own, when we have the help of our heavenly Father? Let us continually seek the LORD’s help and rely on Him in all situations, no matter how the circumstances may appear. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. Interlude (Psalm 62:8 NLT)

Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (NKJV) No need to fret, because our God is able and He is faithful. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. (Lamentations 3:23 NLT) Feast on His faithfulness. Take it in and let it soak into every fiber of your being. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 NASB) Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. (Matthew 6:8 NASB) If He has not given it to you, it may not be a good thing for you, at this time. I will sing of the LORD’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. (Psalm 89:1 NLT) Make His faithfulness known to all generations.

Be confident in His faithfulness to do all that He has said. What He has said, shall come to pass. Cast all your cares on Him and delight yourself in Him. In His presence is fullness of joy; at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11)

Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. —P salm 37:3 (NLT) If we think God is like every other man or woman we have dealt with, who disappointed us and deserted us, that hinders our ability to trust God. We cannot compare our perfect God with flawed humanity. How can we have difficulty trusting the One who has a proven track record? God is always there. He is faithful. Our heavenly Father will never abandon you. He is there to help you, every step of the way. Every word He has spoken comes to pass, because His Word does not return to Him void. If we doubt God's love for us, that will also block our ability to trust Him. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1 NIV) Open the door of your heart and receive His amazing, unfailing love, then set your mind to totally and completely trust in the LORD, no matter what circumstances look like.
