Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” — Mark 12:29-31 (NLT) Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. (1 John 2:15-17 NLT) Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. — Song of Solomon 2:4 (NKJV) In Exodus 17:15 (NLT), Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”). His banner over us is one of love and victory. God gives us victory over the world, our flesh and the devil. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) You have set up a banner for those who fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder—a banner to shield them from attack], a banner that may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. (Psalms 60:4 AMP)  His banner over us is a banner of deliverance and salvation. In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, and the land where he lives will be a glorious place. (Isaiah 11:10 NLT)

“Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!” — Romans 8:37 (TPT) In the midst of ALL these things —troubles, pressures, problems, persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats (See Romans 8:35), we are more than conquerors. Notice the Word says: “ IN the midst,” that means that while we are still going through them we already have the victory. Hallelujah! So now we can live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love.
