And He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure. — Isaiah 33:6 (NASB1995) The current state of the world may be chaotic, turbulent and volatile, but Yahweh is the security and stability of our times. Isaiah 33:6  (VOICE) says: God will be what holds things together, fast and firm during these times. He is our strong foundation and His kingdom will not be shaken. May we know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make us wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (See 2 Timothy 3:15) There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. (See Acts 4:12 NLT) He is indeed the Savior of the world. The government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. He gives us strength and is our strong foundation. He sustains us in the good times and the bad.

I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. — Psalm 16:8 (NKJV) When we humbly position ourselves before the LORD, He will be our stability. The winds of adversity will blow, but He is our strong foundation and we will not be moved. Draw near to God. He is our mighty fortress and safe refuge in times of trouble. Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go. (Psalm 16:8 MSG) Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22 NKJV)

“For I am the LORD, I do not change…” — Malachi 3:6 (NKJV) While the world is constantly changing, we have stability in the LORD. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus forgives, He saves and He heals. Jesus is forever faithful and a constant companion, full of compassion and love. The uncertainty of present day events is like shifting sand, but we have a strong foundation in the LORD. As long as we build our lives on Him, what we do in Him and for Him will last through life’s major upheavals. When the going gets tough, remember, you can count on God. He is always there for you, never to leave you nor abandon you.

…that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this. For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know. — 1 Thessalonians 3:3-4 (NKJV) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). In this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). Never let the storms of life move you. Stand on the Word of God. No matter what comes our way, we are mighty and secure, in Jesus. He is our strong foundation. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” — Genesis 32:28 (NKJV) In order for any progress to be made, there is going to be a struggle. Jacob wrestled all night with a Man and refused to let go until he received his blessing (Genesis 32:24, 26), then he became Israel, Prince with God. If we persevere through the struggles and the pain, and keep God as our strong foundation, we too will prevail. God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Amen!
