Manna for Your Morning

Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:10 (NLT) Keep your trust in the LORD and you shall not want for any good or beneficial thing. Our faithful and loving Father sees your needs and provides for them. Open your heart and be filled with His love, peace, and joy. He heals us physically and emotionally. He takes our brokenness and makes us whole. The LORD turns our bitterness to sweet. Praise His holy name! Be encouraged and keep your hope in Him alive. For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness… (2 Peter 1:3a AMP).

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! — Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) No peace? Fix your thoughts upon the LORD. He keeps in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is committed and focused on Him. Fix your thoughts on His power and His ability to handle everything that concerns you. Meditate on His abundant compassion and kindness, to protect you as a loving Father. Take comfort in His Presence. He is always with you. Trust Him to guide you along on the path He has for you, and true peace will be yours. He will give you peace at all times and in every way as you continually fix your thoughts on Him.

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. — 1 Timothy 6:17 (NIV) Put your hope and trust in God. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. — Psalm 55:22 (NLT) The strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the LORD takes care of the godly (Psalm 37:17 NLT). Sometimes people doubt God’s ability or willingness to take care of them because of their disappointments with their earthly parents. However, our heavenly Father is not a man that He should lie. He promises in His Word that He will take care of us and He is faithful to keep His Word. Psalm 27:10 (NKJV) says, when my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take care of me. People may not be there when we need them but the LORD is always there for us. He is a loving Father who wants to take care of His children.
