Even though the Lord may allow you to go through a season of hardship and difficulty, he himself will be there with you. He will not hide himself from you, for your eyes will constantly see him as your Teacher. Having an attitude of gratitude enables us to give thanks. God, our hearts spill over with praise to you! We overflow with thanks, for your name is the “Near One.” All we want to talk about is your wonderful works! (Psalm 75:1a TPT) ...I will give my thanks to you, Yahweh, for you make everything right in the end. I will sing my highest praise to the God of the Highest Place! (Psalm 7:17 TPT) “ Amen! Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Ephesians 5:18-20 (NLT) Be filled with the Holy Spirit and constantly guided by Him. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude…  — Philippians 4:6 (TPT) Instead of letting worries occupy your mind and shape your life, make your specific requests to our great God, with thanksgiving, for who He is and for all He has done. Be grateful for what He is doing at this present moment. Be thankful that His ear is always open to hear your voice. I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.  (Psalm 34:4 NLT) For I hope in You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God. (Psalm 38:15 NASB)

Jesus Christ is the Eternal One and He is our constant companion, when we open our hearts and let Him in. It’s all about Him, every day, not just this season. He is the gift that never grows old, fades or breaks. The most precious gift we can give another person is the gift of Jesus. We can touch others with His unconditional love and kindness. We can wrap them in the blanket of forgiveness. We can share His peace and joy with everyone that comes our way. We can offer a helping hand and a heart full of compassion. It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat. It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! — Ephesians 2:1-5 (MSG) No matter where we are in life, when we call upon the LORD, because of His immense mercy and incredible love, He delivers us, and draws us near to Him. He holds us close to His heart. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. (Psalm 40:2 NKJV)

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines;  even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) No matter how bad circumstances may appear, we can rejoice because we have the greater One living inside of us. In His Presence, we have all that we need. His power enables us to overcome every challenge. When situations seem impossible, He goes before us and makes a way. Praise God for His Presence in our lives.

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. — Psalm 136:1 (NAS) A mouth full of giving thanks begins with a heart full of grateful appreciation for all that God has done and is doing in your life. Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17). Let's be mindful of all the GOOD things we have to be thankful for!

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. — 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT) Never believe the lies of the enemy when he says, you are insignificant and don’t matter to God. As a child of God, you have a great and precious treasure inside: Jesus! He chose to live in you. God wants to use you on this earth, to do great things for His kingdom. May we continually submit to His wonder-working power which is at work in us.

“Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place. — 2 Chronicles 29:5 (NKJV) During King Hezekiah's restoration project, he instructed the Levitical priests to clean out the holy place. First Peter 2:9 says, we are a a royal priesthood. We are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in us (1 Corinthians 3:16). So, let us take a survey of all that we have accumulated throughout the year and carry out any rubbish. Get rid of all debris: offense, unforgiveness, pride, rebellion, etc. These are things which will cause a root of bitterness to grow and defile our temples. Amen!

Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired. Isaiah 40:31 (GW) Wait with hope in the LORD and your strength will be renewed. If we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently (Romans 8:25). The LORD is our help and He will deliver us out of all our troubles. Our God is able. Amen!

Then Jesus took the five loaves of bread and two fish, and looking up to heaven, he thanked God for the food. Then he divided the food and gave it to the followers to give to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and what was left over was gathered up, filling twelve baskets. Luke 9:16-17 (NCV) Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish. While our resources may seem scarce, we can still share our blessings with others. When we look up to our heavenly Father with a grateful heart and thank Him for what He has given us, we find true contentment and lasting satisfaction.

When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you. Ephesians 4:29 (NCV) Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God (Ephesians 5:4, NLT).
