Manna for Your Morning

There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. — Proverbs 14:12 (NLT) Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. (Psalms 25:12 NLT) Choose the right path and stick to it. Proverbs 15:21 (NLT) says, a sensible person stays on the right path. The right path leads to life, light, and peace. The path of life leads upward for the wise; they leave the grave behind. (Proverbs 15:24) Those who follow the right path fear the LORD; those who take the wrong path despise him. (Proverbs 14:2) The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalms 32:8 NLT) “Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” (Luke 1:78-79 NLT) Jesus said... “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. and he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the LORD to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.”  — 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NASB1995) Upon being notified that a great multitude was coming to make war against them, Jehoshaphat was afraid and turned his attention to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. (2 Chronicles 20:3) In his prayer, he acknowledged that they were powerless before the great multitude who were coming against them. He admitted that they did not know what to do, but he stated: “…our eyes are on You.”  (See 2 Chronicles 20:12) Yahweh’s response was to let them know that the battle belonged to Him. I will never abandon you .” (See Hebrews 13:5 NLT) For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) Whatever you go through today, know that Yahweh is with you and His plan is for your peace and well-being. And His plan and purpose will prevail over all. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV) Fix your hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. (See 1 Timothy 4:10 NASB1995) And He will show you the path of life. (Psalm 16:11 AMP)

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. — Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in every circumstance and situation, present your requests to God, with thanksgiving. And the perfect peace of God which transcends all human understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, the Anointed One. As long as we are in Christ Jesus that peace is ours. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. — Romans 8:6 (NLT) Let us no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit, and bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God. …the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless. (Galatians 5:22-23 TPT) So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. (Galatians 5:16 NLT)

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You. — Psalm 86:5 (NASB) For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 NASB) O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. Your future is bright and filled with a living hope that will never fade away. As you listen to me, my beloved child, you will grow in wisdom and your heart will be drawn into understanding,  which will empower you to make right decisions. — Proverbs 23:18-19 (TPT) As you walk with the Lord, you have a bright future and a living hope. Listen to wisdom and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit. God has all your days written in His book and your story is not over yet. So God has more in store for you! For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the LORD’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” — Genesis 8:22 (NKJV) This Scripture speaks of three seasons. A season of planting seeds, a season of harvesting, or gathering in the fruit that has been produced. And in between those two seasons, there is the season called TIME. How long? Only God knows. Some call this a time of waiting, but there are still things to do while you wait. If you have planted seeds of faith, the seed must be watered by speaking God’s Word over it. We have to keep weeds of doubt from growing, by guarding our heart and our ears to negative worldly opinions. (If it's not the truth of God's Word, it's an opinion.) Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies. — Psalm 60:11-12 (NKJV) For God alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; My fortress and my defense, I will not be shaken or discouraged  (Psalm 62:5-6 AMP). God is our living hope. O my people, trust in him at all times. (Psalm 62:8a NLT). We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. (Philippians 4:13) From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalm 61:2 NKJV)

But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the LORD. — Genesis 25:22 (NKJV) When Rebekah sensed a struggle between the babies in her womb, she inquired of the LORD and received the answer she sought. The mind of the intelligent and discerning seeks knowledge and eagerly inquires after it, but the mouth of the [stubborn] fool feeds on foolishness. (Proverbs 15:14 AMP). Don’t feed on the foolishness of worldly advice. When you sense a struggle, inquire of the One who knows it all. As you encounter puzzling circumstances, seek answers from the LORD. When you experience uneasy feelings that all is not well, ask for revelation from our heavenly Father and continually examine His Word for understanding.

Listen, God! Please, pay attention! Can you make sense of these ramblings, my groans and cries? King-God, I need your help. Every morning you’ll hear me at it again. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on your altar and watch for fire to descend. — Psalm 5:1-3 (MSG) God is our helper. May we look to Him, each and every day to give us wisdom and guidance. Let us look to Him every moment of the day to be our strength and joy. As we expose every area of our lives to His light and love, He will bring about the healing and restoration that is needed. At His alter is where things get altered —changed forever!

He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. — Isaiah 40:29 (AMP) God makes strength available for every hardship, and every difficulty we face. When we are weary, we need to take our buckets and draw from the well of living water, where there is an endless supply of everything we need. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV). We are empowered to overcome every challenge by allowing His power that dwells in us, to work through us. Amen!

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.  — James 1:17 (NIV) Our lives are full of good and perfect gifts from our heavenly Father. The very breath of life in you at this moment, is a gift of God. Let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God for all the wonderful things He has so graciously given to us.

I will thank the LORD at all times. My mouth will always praise him. My soul will boast about the LORD. Those who are oppressed will hear it and rejoice. Praise the LORD’s greatness with me. Let us highly honor his name together.  — Psalm 34:1-3 (GW) Give thanks to the LORD at all times. Constantly speak his praises! Boast about all that God is doing in your life. It will encourage those who hear your testimony. Let us highly honor His name by living HOLY, being HUMBLE and staying HUNGRY for the things of God!

Frightened, Elijah fled to save his life. He came to Beersheba in Judah and left his servant there. Then he traveled through the wilderness for a day. He sat down under a broom plant and wanted to die. “I’ve had enough now, LORD,” he said. 1 Kings 19:3-4 (GW) How many times have we felt like the prophet Elijah and told God we have had enough? At times like these, remember that God will never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it (1 Corinthians 10:13, The Message). Elijah was fleeing for his life because he was fearful. His fear drove him into the wilderness. Instead of getting caught up in fear, let us faithfully follow the LORD. God has not given us a spirit of fear. He has given us a spirit of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3-4 (NKJ) Jesus gives us the precious gift of peace. In John 14:27, Jesus says "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Hold onto your peace. The world didn't give it to you and the world cannot take it away. Fix your thoughts on the LORD and His peace will rule in your heart and mind.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) As we trust in God, He will keep us in perfect peace. Believe that He is able and willing to deliver you out of all your troubles. Fix your thoughts on the LORD and not on your circumstances and your soul will have deep, abiding peace.  Love, Jackie
