We can never get away from His Presence. (See Psalms 139:7) Psalms 139:9-10 says: “If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.” When it seems as though you are wandering in the wilderness, remember that He is “the God Who Sees me.” (El Roi) He is with you and is aware of your circumstances. Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” — Genesis 16:13 (NKJV) When Sarai dealt harshly with her, Hagar fled from her presence and the Angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness. The Angel told her that the LORD has heard her affliction. Not only are His eyes upon us, God’s ears are always open to our cries. He is with us in all our afflictions and troubles and He promises to deliver us from each and every one. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:17). Praise the LORD!
