Manna for Your Morning

“In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” — Luke 5:12 (NLT) This man humbled himself in the presence of the Lord. Let us bow in His Presence with a humble heart. This man also recognized that Yeshua was able to heal Him. He had faith in Yeshua. However, he said “IF” you are are willing. Know today, that our Savior is indeed willing. In Luke 5:13, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.” King Yeshua reaches out to touch us too. Be receptive to His touch. He is able to heal us and make us clean. Thank Yeshua for who He is, our Redeemer, Advocate and Healer. May we submit to His ways and trust in His timing.

“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) If children of God (those who are called by His name), want Yahweh to heal and restore our land, we need to do our part. First, we are to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God (See 1 Peter 5:6). Second, we are to persistently pray to our Heavenly Father, instead of complaining, criticizing, or worrying. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (See James 5:16 NLT)  Third, the Word says to seek His face. This is a posture of the heart.  Psalms 27:8 (NASB1995) says: When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.” The affections of our hearts are to be set on Yahweh, more than anything else this world has to offer. “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;” — Isaiah 61:1 (NKJV) When Yeshua read this Scripture in the synagogue, He said: “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” (See Luke 4:16-21) It is done! Yeshua brought the good news to the poor and afflicted. He healed the brokenhearted and set the captives free. He comforts all who mourn, and gives us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Nevertheless, keep watching! I will restore this city and heal the wounds of My people. I will lavish them with peace and stability. — Jeremiah 33:6 (VOICE) “But now take another look. I’m going to give this city a thorough renovation, working a true healing inside and out. I’m going to show them life whole, life brimming with blessings. I’ll restore everything that was lost to Judah and Jerusalem. I’ll build everything back as good as new. I’ll scrub them clean from the dirt they’ve done against me. I’ll forgive everything they’ve done wrong, forgive all their rebellions. (Jeremiah 33:6-8 MSG) Our heavenly Father is a God of restoration and renewal. He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

  Kind words heal and help; cutting words wound and maim. — Proverbs 15:4 (MSG) Choose very carefully the words that come from your mouth. Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. (Proverbs 18:21 MSG) Words contain power to build relationships and bring healing to a hurting heart. Encouraging words strengthen and give life, but negative, critical words hurt and wound the spirit. Nothing is more appealing than speaking beautiful, life-giving words. For they release sweetness to our souls and inner healing to our spirits. (Proverbs 16:24 TPT) May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. — Psalm 19:14 (NLT)

The LORD appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP) Just as the LORD drew Israel to Himself, He has drawn us with unfailing love. His love never fails. It never runs out on us. Open your heart and receive the lovingkindness that He continually lavishes on us. Great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:23), and it endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90). He is faithful to see you through every trial. He is faithful to heal all your hurts. And He is faithful to provide all your needs. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (Psalm 92:2)

A woman was in the crowd who had been bleeding for twelve years, but no one was able to heal her. She came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his coat, and instantly her bleeding stopped. — Luke 8:43-44 (NCV) This woman had a need and praise God, she knew enough to seek Jesus for the healing she desired. She was not content to be one in the crowd, just trying to see Jesus. As a result of her persistence and determination to fight through the crowd, she got close enough to Jesus to touch his garment. Because this woman believed that Jesus was the answer to her problem, she made a withdrawal of power from on high. And Jesus said, “ Someone did touch me, because I felt power go out from me .” (Luke 8:46) In Luke 8:48, Jesus said to her, “ Dear woman, you are made well because you believed. Go in peace .” May we, in faith and wisdom reach out and touch Jesus, our Lord and Savior, each and every day. Let us push through the things that crowd our day and have an intimate encounter...

As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?” — Luke 17:12-17 (NLT) Let us be the one who always returns to Jesus and gives thanks for all He has done. Be the one who gives glory to God and continually shouts His praises. Luke 17:16 (MSG) says, the healed leper kneeled at Jesus’ feet, so grateful. He couldn’t thank him enough. May we have an attitude of gratitude for all God provides, and most of all for His Presence and His love.

While Jesus was living in the Galilean hills, John, called “the Baptizer,” was preaching in the desert country of Judea. His message was simple and austere, like his desert surroundings: “Change your life. God’s kingdom is here.” — Matthew 3:1-2 (MSG) The kingdom of God is here! Open your eyes and see and hear with your ears, understand with your hearts and turn to the LORD, so He can heal you. (Matthew 13:15) For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 NLT). Seek first His kingdom. As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:12 NLT)

“Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD…”’” — 2 Kings 20:5 (NKJV) God spoke these words to Hezekiah, and He still speaks these words to His people today. Be confident that the LORD listens to your prayer. He hears the cry of your heart. Not only does He see your tears, Psalm 56:8 (NLT) says, He has collected all our tears in His bottle. He has recorded each one in His book. Psalm 126:5 (NKJV) lets us know that those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. Hallelujah! Surely God heals! Our heavenly Father wants His children, healed and whole. He says: But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; (Malachi 4:2). Then a leper appeared and went to his knees before Jesus, praying, “Master, if you want to, you can heal my body.” Jesus reached out and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be clean.” Then and there, all signs of the leprosy were gone. — Matthew 8:2-3 (MSG) Jesus wants to heal you and make you whole, here and now. Humble yourself under His mighty hand and call upon Jesus, the great Physician. His hand is always reaching out to you. Fall on your knees in His presence and receive all He has for you. It's His desire for you to live the more abundant life, in perfect peace and full of joy. No matter how circumstances appear, continue to stand on the Word of God. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 NLT). Whatever your burden is today, sickness or otherwise, give it to Him.

“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.”  — Matthew‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭(NKJV‬) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬). He is still moved with compassion. It is in the heart of Jesus to be compassionate. While the disciples wanted to send the crowd away, Jesus wanted to take care of their needs. He is the great Physician who heals the sick. He feeds the hungry and clothes the naked. He is the good Shepherd who watches over the sheep and guides them along the path of life. He gives light to those who dwell in darkness. To the prisoners of life circumstances, He provides liberty. He lifts up the heads of those bowed down and fills our minds with peace and joy.

“I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith…” — Revelation 2:13 (NKJV) Hold fast to the name of Jesus. His name is above every name. His name is above all disease and sickness. His name is above poverty and lack. His name holds the power to destroy bondages and set captives free. His name has power to heal broken hearts and restore hope. At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, (Philippians 2:10). The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. ( Proverbs 18:10 ). Hold fast to His name.

Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17  (NKJV) In 2 Kings 20:5 (NKJV), King Hezekiah was sick and near death and the prophet Isaiah said to him, “Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: ‘I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you…’ ” God extended his life for fifteen years and defended his city from their enemies. What are you believing God for today? He has heard your prayer and He has seen your tears. Lay your requests before Him and wait expectantly (Psalm 5:3 NIV). Nothing is too difficult for our great God!

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;” — Luke 4:18 (NKJV) If you are oppressed, Jesus came to set you free. He proclaims liberty to the captives, healing to those who are brokenhearted. The Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8 NLT). He sets us free from fear, worry, bondage, addictions, etc. You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free (Galatians 5:13 NIV). Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1 NKJV).

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.” — Matthew 11:28 (The Message) Jesus said to come to Him. He didn’t add any conditions. We don’t have to "get ourselves together" before we come. Our part is to just come. Jesus’ part is to heal, restore, comfort, strengthen, deliver, make whole, etc. Aren’t you glad we got the easy part? JUST COME! Stop hiding, stop making excuses and come to JESUS, just as you are, and stay. Abide in His Presence!

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed;  Save me, and I shall be saved,  For You are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14 (NKJV) In the LORD, we receive healing and salvation. When he heals us, we are truly healed. The LORD heals our emotional wounds, our physical bodies and our spiritual beings. Psalm 103:3 says, the LORD heals all our diseases. When He saves us, we are surely saved. First Peter 1:9 says, the end result of our faith in Jesus Christ that we receive is the salvation of our souls. May our souls rejoice in the LORD and delight in his salvation (Psalm 35:9). He is the One we praise. Hallelujah!

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" And immediately the leprosy left him. Luke 5:12 (NIV) Your problem may not be leprosy, but whatever it is, Jesus is the answer to any challenge that comes your way. He is more than willing to meet you, right where you are. When the Lord reaches out His hand and touches you, He provides the healing and wholeness you need to live a full healthy life, one of freedom and victory. Bow down before the Lord and ask Him to make you whole and well. Ask Him to restore what is broken and fill what is empty. Jesus is able!

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, "Remember, O LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 2 Kings 20:2-3 (NIV) King Hezekiah became sick and the prophet Isaiah told him the LORD said for him to put his house in order because he was going to die. Upon hearing these words Hezekiah prayed to the LORD and wept bitterly. The LORD heard his prayer and seen his tears and healed him. The LORD added fifteen years to his life (2 Kings 20:5-6). When bad news comes call on God. He hears your prayer and sees your tears.

'For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' Acts 28:27 (NIV) Open your eyes to see the goodness of the LORD. It is all around you. Attune your ears to hear His gentle voice. Understand with all your heart, the breath and depth of God's eternal love for you. Then, turn toward the LORD and be healed from the inside out, spiritually, emotionally and physically. Love, Jackie
