Life & Freedom

 “ I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. ” — John 10:9 (TPT) True life, freedom and satisfaction are found as we abide in Yeshua. In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. (John 1:4 AMP) Yeshua is the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through Him. (See John 14:6 TLV) He came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10 AMP) Yahweh anointed Him to bring good news to the afflicted; He was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to captives and freedom to prisoners. (See Isaiah 61:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 NKJV) Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil, but [use it and live] as bond-servants of God. (1 Peter 2:15 AMP) Amen.

Lasting Satisfaction

Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. — Psalm 63:3-5 (NLT) While the thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy, Yeshua said, His purpose is to give us a rich and satisfying life. (See John 10:10 NLT) Material things can never bring permanent satisfaction. Our joy, peace and lasting satisfaction is found in continual fellowship with Yeshua, our Lord and Savior. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. (Galatians 6:8 NLT) So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. Seek & Call

Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God … — 1 Chronicles 22:19 (NIV) Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. — Isaiah 55:6 (NKJV) The bling-bling of this world are distractions, designed to get your attention and steal your affections. In the eternal scheme, they have no real value, they are temporary and shallow. All they will ever do is leave you wanting more. There will always be something bigger, better and faster. When we seek the LORD first and foremost, we truly experience a deep and lasting satisfaction. His Spirit dwelling in us reaches every crevice, enlightens the dark places and fills the emptiness. And those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. (Psalm 34:10). Amen!

He is In Our Midst!

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. — Zephaniah 3:17 (AMP) The LORD our God is in our midst. He is mighty to save. He takes great delight in His people. Once we confess our sins, He removes our transgressions from us, as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). His perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). He rejoices over us with joyful songs. Let us draw near to Him and delight in His Presence!

Find Satisfaction

There is nothing better for people to do than to eat, drink, and find satisfaction in their work. I saw that even this comes from the hand of God. — Ecclesiastes 2:24 (GW) In Philippians 4:11-13, the Apostle Paul says “for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Let us learn to be content where we are, at this moment, and still strive to reach the goal God has assigned to each one of us. Instead of complaining and whining, focus on winning in every area of your life!

Keep Pressing On

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT) Forget the past and focus on what lies ahead. When the winds of adversity hit you in the face and the stormy waters beat against your back, keep pressing on. When you feel the flames from the furnace of affliction, press on. Look to the future. God has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Love, Jackie

From the Hand of God

A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment? Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 (NIV) Let us thank God for all His hand provides for us. His hand gives us shelter and puts food on our tables. He gives us strength to perform the work of our hands.
