And always be thankful. — Colossians 3:15 (NLT) We are called to live in peace. It is supposed to rule in our hearts, not fear, not anxiety, nor worry, but peace. We are not to only experience moments of peace, when it seems everything has come into perfect alignment. Our peace is to be consistent and continual, regardless of external circumstances. The Amplified Bible describes it as the inner calm of one who walks daily with Christ. (See Colossians 3:15 AMP) We can only have this perfect peace when we rely fully on God and trust Him, that no matter what is going on in our lives, and in this world, He is working everything together for good. If our peace is based on the constantly changing conditions of this world, it will never be stable. Our peace has to come from within us where the Holy Spirit of God dwells. But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted. — 1 Peter 2:9-10 (MSG) When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, and You crown him with glory and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, (Psalm 8:3-6 NASB) God has a plan and He called us with a purpose. His Holy Spirit enables us to do all that He has called us to do. You are a chosen vessel to exhibit God's glory on the earth. May we be about our Father's business and fulfill the high calling He has for us.

Stay aware of His Presence, with you, and you will abide in His peace. In His Presence, we are empowered to overcome the troubles and trials of this world. “ Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful. ” — John 14:27 (CSB)

Listen! You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of King David, his ancestor. He will rule over the people of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will never end.” — Luke 1:31-33 (NCV) Jesus is the Son of the Most High. As the song says, “He is the answer to what our hearts are searching for.” Jesus is higher than any mountain that stands before you. He is greater than any storm. Even the winds and the sea obey Him (Matthew 8:27). Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of lords. He is our only hope. Jesus is our strength, and He is our peace, in the midst of the storms. In John 16:33 (NLT) Jesus said: “ I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world .”

“If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” — Genesis 4:7 (NIV) Sin crouches at our door, ready to pounce. We don’t have to go looking for it. However, the temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability to resist, but with the temptation He will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13). We always have a choice. Choose well. When you make the wrong choice, don't let the enemy condemn you and cause you to run away from God. The love of our heavenly Father never fails. If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

And always be thankful. — Colossians 3:15 (NLT) As brothers and sisters in the family of God, we are called to live in peace. His peace is to rule in our hearts. That means peace is to have dominion over worry, envy, strife, jealousy, etc. Instead of picking each other apart, we are to pick each other up. Let us stop fretting over earthly concerns, and cultivate peace, in our hearts and in our relationships. As we abide in His peace, we see all that we have to be thankful for. With peaceful hearts, we are able to appreciate all the wonderful things God is doing in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

I have built this Temple to honor the name of the LORD, the God of Israel. — 2 Chronicles 6:10b (NLT) In the Old Testament, King Solomon built a physical building as a temple for the LORD. Now, our bodies are the temple of God. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1 NLT). Give God all of you and let His Holy Spirit rule and reign on the throne of your heart. Surrender and submit to His will and His way!

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) Is your mind inclined to have thoughts about the LORD or has something else captured your attention? Fix your thoughts on the LORD, and He will keep you in the gentle flow of His perfect and constant peace. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). No matter what circumstances are like on the outside, let His perfect peace rule in your hearts and minds, at all times!

If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you.  — Revelation 3:20 (The Message) Jesus wants to occupy your whole heart, but He doesn't force His way. We must open the door and invite Him in. Don’t just open the door, let's roll out the red carpet and invite Him into every room. He will help us remove the clutter and clean out those areas that are not quite right. So answer the call of Jesus and let Him rule and reign in your heart!

Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.  — Psalm 119:165 (AMP) The path to great peace is a love for the Word of God. Treasure His Word in your heart and let it continually be in your mouth. Meditate on His Word day and night that you may do it. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will rule in your hearts and nothing will cause you to stumble or be offended. Amen!

What you say goes—it always has. “Beauty” and “Holy” mark your palace rule, God, to the very end of time.  — Psalm 93:5 (The Message) Perfect in beauty, God shines forth! “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” (Revelation 4:8) Our Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth (Isaiah 54:5). Gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple (Psalm 27:4).  Worship the LORD in the beauty of His holiness! Just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do (1 Peter 1:15). For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight (Ephesians 1:4).

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 (NIV) Followers of Jesus Christ are called to live in peace with everyone. Let His peace rule in your hearts and minds. As God's children, we have an unlimited source of peace. Refuse to worry about anything. Don't stir up strife. Instead, cast all your cares on Him. Extend grace to others as God has been very gracious to you. Live in the continuous flow of God's peace!

May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth. Psalm 67:3-4 (NIV) Be glad and sing for joy because Jesus has the victory! The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our God and He will rule forever and ever. Every knee will bow before Him and every tongue will acknowledge God (Romans 14:11). He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth (Zechariah 9:10). The Lord will judge the people fairly and guide the people of the whole world. Glory Hallelujah!
