Listen & Live

Image
“ Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance. ” — Isaiah 55:2 (AMP) In Isaiah 55:3 (NLT), the LORD says: “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” Incline your ear to hear the Word of Yahweh, more than the negative news of this world. His Word gives life. (See Psalms 119:50 NKJV) His Word is a source of hope. The instructions of the LORD are perfect, reviving the soul… (See Psalms 19:7 NLT). Open your eyes to see the wonderful truths in His instructions. And may you hide his word in your heart that you may not sin against Him. (See Psalms 119:18 & 11 NLT)

The Goodness of GOD

Image
“ Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. ” — Psalms 116:8 (NLT) I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place. (Psalms 31:7-8 NLT) God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right. (Psalms 7:17 NLT) So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalms 31:24 NLT) How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. (Psalms 31:19 NLT) I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High. (Psalms 7:17 LSB) Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. (Psalms 105:1 LSB)

ALL Things

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) The Scripture says Yahweh causes ALL things to work together for good. Whatever happens, remember, our great God is deeply concerned about you. If you love God and are called according to His purpose know that He is working for your good. Any challenges you faced in the past has made you stronger for future challenges. Yield to His plan and purpose and you will have good success. You can do all things [which He has called you to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers you. (See Philippians 4:13 AMP) Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word. — 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NASB1995)

Enter His Gates

Image
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For Yahweh is good; His lovingkindness endures forever and His faithfulness, generation unto generation. — Psalms 100:4-5 (LSB) Oh give thanks to Yahweh, call upon His name; Make known His acts among the peoples. Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good, for His lovingkindness endures forever.  (1 Chronicles 16:8, 34 LSB) in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP) I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High. (Psalms 7:17 LSB) Enter His gates today. Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. — Hebrews 13:15 (NASB1995)

ALL Things

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) I love that the Word of God says: “ALL” things. That leaves nothing out. No matter how crazy and unsettling current circumstances may appear, we can be certain that they will come to pass, and God will cause something good to eventually come out of the situation. Also, we know that Yahweh is with us through all of our troubles. Let His Presence with us be our greatest source of comfort and confidence. He is faithful to deliver us out of all our troubles and trials.

He Teaches Us

Image
This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.” — Isaiah 48:17-18 (NLT) May we turn a deaf ear to the voices of this world and listen to the still small voice of Yahweh. He teaches us what is good for us. For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. “I am the LORD,” he says, “and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:18 NLT) He speaks only what is true and declares only what is right. He will never go back on His word. (See Isaiah 45:19 & 23) “ Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happen...

He Freely Gives

Image
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” — James (Jacob) 1:17 (TPT) Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness… (2 Peter 1:2-3 NKJV) He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners. (See Psalms 146:7)  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the [Holy] Spirit who is from God, so that we may know and understand the [wonderful] things freely given to us by God. (1 Corinthians 2:12 AMP) “For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.” (Romans 8:32 TPT) As we have freely received the love...

Keeping Watch

Image
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. — Proverbs 15:3 (NKJV) The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; (Psalms 33:13-14) He is El Roi, The-God-Who-Sees. (See Genesis 16:13) Even the darkness is not dark to Him, and the night is as bright as the day. (See Psalms 139:12) ...the LORD sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes. An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him. (Proverbs 5:21-22 NLT) …the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. (See 2 Chronicles 16:9 NASB1995) For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. (See 1 Samuel 16:7)  Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from deat...

Created in His Image

Image
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  — Genesis 1:27 (NASB1995) In Genesis 1:3, 1:10,1:12,1:18,1:21 and 1:25, God saw that what He made was good. However, on the sixth day, the day He created man, God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. (See Genesis 1:31) Since we are made in the image of Elohim, our Creator, let us reflect His unconditional love, His amazing grace, and His marvelous kindness. For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen. (Romans 11:36 AMP) Through Him we are to live and function and have our identity... (See Acts 17:28 TPT). The nearness of God is our good; (See Psalms 73:28 NASB1995) O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! (Psalms 34:8 LSB) O my soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord; I have no good without You.” ...

It is Good

Image
But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. — Psalms 73:28 (AMP) Let us continually draw near to God with a genuine heart. The closer you are to Him the more likely you are to hear His still small voice telling you the way in which you should go. He softly speaks to you about His unfailing love, grace and mercy. Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22 NASB1995) It is for our good to draw near to God and when we do, He is faithful to draw near to us. (See James 4:8) “But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord YAHWEH, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!” — Psalms 73:28 (TPT)

Don't Despair

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 NLT) You can be certain that whatever challenges you are dealing with, Yahweh will work it all together for good. Everything that happens in this life will not be good, but when God reveals the whole plan, we are able to see the good that comes out of each situation. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (Romans 5:3 NLT) We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11 NASB1995)  I would have despaired un...

He is Good

Image
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. — Psalm 118:1 (NASB1995) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17 NLT) Good and upright is Adonai. Therefore He directs sinners in the way. He guides the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way. All Adonai’s ways are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Psalm 25:8-10 TLV) He has given us greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine. (See Psalm 4:7 NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no lack of anything. (Psalm 34:8-9 NASB) “ For Yahweh is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, fo...

The LORD is Good

Image
The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power, — Psalm 145:9-11 (NKJV) Yahweh is good and He does good. The Eternal sustains all who stumble on their way. For those who are broken down, God is near. He raises them up in hope. All eyes have turned toward Him, waiting in expectation; when they are hungry, He feeds them right on time. The desires of every living thing are met by His open hand. The Eternal is right in all His ways, and He is kind in all His acts. (See Psalm 145:14-17 VOICE) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB1995) The Eternal is gracious. He shows mercy to His people. For Him anger does not come easily, but faithful love does—and it is rich and abundant. — Psalm 145:8 (VOICE)

It Is Good

Image
But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. — Psalm 73:28 (NIV) It is good to draw near to God. Put your trust in the Lord GOD, and tell everyone about the wonderful things He has done. He has clothed us with garments of salvation and covered us with a robe of righteousness. May we rejoice greatly in the LORD. (See Isaiah 61:10) He will keep us in perfect peace, as we trust in Him. In His Presence is fullness of joy. In His right hand there are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalm 16:11) Adonai gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. (See Isaiah 40:29) He leads and guides us through each day, and will make known to us the path of life. …repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; (Acts 3:29 NASB1995) Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my sou...

It is Good

Image
It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. — Psalm 119:71 (NASB1995) I am exceedingly afflicted; Revive me, O LORD, according to Your word. (Psalm 119:107 NASB1995) Look upon my suffering and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your instructions. (Psalm 119:153 NLT) Even affliction serves its purpose. Pain and suffering has a way of humbling us and causing us to look to Yahweh and cling to His living Word. It has a way of bringing us back to our Hiding Place and what we know. Psalm 119:67 (VOICE) says: Before I had trouble, I strayed from the true path, the path of righteousness, but now I live according to Your word. If you have strayed away from truth, let the Word of God, guide you back onto the path of life.  As we persevere difficulties, we find strength in the Lord. The woman who had a hemorrhage for 12 years, found strength to push her way through the crowd, in order to touch the cloak of Jesus. Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and...

God is Good!

Image
Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:8-10 (NLT) In the midst of difficulties and hardships, never doubt the goodness of God. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. God is Good

Image
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You. — Psalm 86:5 (NASB) For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 NASB) O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. (Psalm 84:12 AMP) Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God. — 3 John 1:11 (NASB)

Walk Carefully

Image
Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people], making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil. — Ephesians 5:15-16 (AMP) Listen to the Word of God and align your life to it. The Bible is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. (Proverbs 16:20 NASB) Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear. (Psalm 119:105 TPT)
