Be Fully Convinced

“Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” — Romans 4:20-21 (NLT) We can be fully convinced that God is able, and will do as He promised. He watches over His Word to perform it. In Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) the LORD says: “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. (Psalms 18:30 NKJV) Never waver in believing the Word of God. The LORD fulfills His Word.

Armed with Strength

God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. — Psalms 18:30-32 (NLT) In 1 Samuel 30:3-4, David and his men came to the city, and it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and daughters had been taken captive. David and the people who were with him lifted their voices and wept until there was no strength in them to weep. But 1 Samuel 30:6 (NLT) says, David found strength in the LORD his God. In Psalms 18:6 (LSB), David said: In my distress I called upon Yahweh, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. When you are distressed and in the midst of adverse circumstances, call upon Yahweh for help. He arms us with strength to stand strong through the troubles and challenges that come our way. …“I love You, O Yahweh, ...

Walk by Faith

for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP) Let’s live our lives by faith, with confidence in the power and goodness of our great God. Because we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NASB) And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved. — Hebrews 10:38-39 (NLT)

Keep on Believing

Jesus: Don’t get lost in despair; believe in God, and keep on believing in Me. — John 14:1 (VOICE) I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 NASB) Don’t let your faith grow weak and cause you to waver and wander away from our heavenly Father. for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] (2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP) So God has given us two unchanging things: His promise and His oath. These prove that it is impossible for God to lie. As a result, we who come to God for refuge might be encouraged to seize that hope that is set before us. That hope is real and true, an anchor to steady our restless souls… — Hebrews 6:18-19a (VOICE)

Live in Faith

for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP) When Mary Magdalene told the disciples that Jesus was alive and she had seen him, they didn’t believe her. (Mark 16:11) Don’t be a doubting disciple. In John 20:29, Jesus said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” In John 14:1, Jesus said, “ Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. ” May we confidently believe that Jesus is alive, willing and more than able to handle whatever concerns us. He is our mighty Savior and everlasting King. He rules and reigns in power and glory. He has overcome the world. Let us live in faith (a confident belief), that in Jesus, we have the victory.

Why Pray?

And He *said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.” — Matthew 21:13 (NASB) Why pray? It takes our attention off of the problem and puts it on the One who can solve it. Prayer draws us deeper into the Presence of Almighty God. In His Presence is our peace, and our protection. Proverbs 18:10 (NASB), says: The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe . When we pray, we enlist the help of our heavenly Father, and it opens the door for the power of His Holy Spirt to work in us and through us. Our prayers help us to persevere and receive the promises of His Word. In Matthew 21:21-22 (NASB), Jesus said, “ Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. ” Our prayers can chan...

by Faith

for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]— we are [as I was saying] of good courage and confident hope… — 2 Corinthians 5:7-8 (AMP) The Message Bible says, “It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us?” (2 Corinthians 5:7-8a) Let us live by faith, with our speech and our steps consistent with what we say we believe. Walk confidently believing in our God and in His goodness. He will work everything together for good, in your life. Do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Confidently Believe

…for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]   — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP) As we consistently renew our minds with the Word of God, our thoughts will line up with all of God’s wonderful promises. Our speech and our actions will also agree with His Word. When the world or our enemy gives us a negative report, we slice it up with our sword (The Word). As men and women of faith, may we confidently believe all of God’s promises because He is faithful to fulfill every one of them. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. (2 Corinthians 5:7 MSG)  Jesus said, “ If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. ” (Mark 9:23)

Fix Your Eyes on God

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God. — Psalm 42:5 (MSG) When we feel depressed and overwhelmed, we have taken our eyes off of God and His promises and fixed them on our problems. However, the LORD’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. (Psalm 147:11 NLT). Fix your eyes on God and He will lift you out of the pit of despair and set your feet on solid ground. The LORD is our helper. May your hope rest on His unfailing love.

It’s Time!

He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, — Luke 2:5-6 (NIV) When Joseph and Mary went to register in Bethlehem, the time came for her to give birth. In the course of going about your daily tasks, the time will come for you to give birth to the promises God has spoken to you. It's time for the fulfillment of the dreams and desires He has placed in your heart. First, we must go through the labor pains (another word for work). Let us persevere this phase and keep pressing onward and forward, regardless of any challenges.

Content in Every Situation

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. — Philippians 4:12 (NIV) Let us be like the Apostle Paul and learn the secret of being content in every situation. Be assured that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (Romans 8:28 NLT). No matter how hopeless our current circumstances appear, we have God’s Presence, His promises and His mighty power, which is at work in us. Know that He has a purpose and a plan for your life that is good. Glory to God!

Hold onto Hope!

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. — Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV) Wikipedia says hope is an expectation of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large. As believers and children of God, we above all, have an everlasting hope. May we keep a firm grip on God’s promises, without wavering, because our heavenly Father always keeps His word. Christ in us, is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls (Hebrews 6:19a NLT). Never lose hope. Always expect a positive outcome in your life situations.

Patiently Endure

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Do not become sluggish, spiritually dull, or indifferent, but imitate those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance (Hebrews 6:12). Let no actions of the enemy bother you or set you back. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. After you patiently endure the trials, you will enjoy to the full all the wonderful promises of God.
