“Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in and relies on the LORD shall be surrounded with compassion and lovingkindness. Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous [who actively seek right standing with Him]; Shout for joy, all you upright in heart.” — Psalms 32:10-11 (AMP) Be glad in the LORD because His lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. (See Lamentations 3:22 NKJV) Praise Yah! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming. He is the One who heals the brokenhearted and who binds up their wounds, (Psalms 147:1, 3 LSB). “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10 NASB1995) 

  People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their heart.  — Proverbs 21:2 (NLT) “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 NLT) We may be able to fool people, but we can never fool our Heavenly Father. “The LORD’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.” (Proverbs 20:27) He examines our hearts and knows everything about us. (See Psalms 139:1) How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. (Psalms 19:12) Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. — Romans 1:18-20 (NLT) Romans 1:21 says: Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. They traded the truth about God for a lie. Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. — Isaiah 55:6-7 (NKJV) People in this world seek many things: love, fame, fortune, power, etc. However, when we abide in Yahweh, we have all that we need. Call upon Him while He is near. If you truly seek Him, He will be found by you. Let us seek Almighty God, and His will and walk in His ways, all of our days. In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalms 16:11) “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12 NKJV)

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.  — Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB) Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. — Micah 7:7 (NLT) I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2 NLT) Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 37:1-4 NLT)

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind… — Job 38:1 (NKJV) Do not fear the storms of life. The storm won't outlast our mighty God. And Nahum 1:3 says, the LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm. His ways our higher than ours. Let what needs to be blown out of your life be carried away. When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation. (Proverbs 10:25 NKJV) Stand firm on our strong foundation and watch for God to answer you out of the whirlwind. Out of the raging storm, the Eternal One answered Job. — Job 38:1 (VOICE)

The lives of good people are brightly lit streets; the lives of the wicked are dark alleys. — Proverbs 13:9 (MSG) Jesus says: “Come!” Those in dark alleys and on dead-end roads, come to Jesus, the light of the world. In John 18:12, Jesus said, “ I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. ” He will show you the path of life. He came that you may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10b AMP). As followers of Christ, we are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14) May we let the light of His love and grace within us, shine brighter and brighter, and light up the darkness that is around us. The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. — Proverbs 13:9 (NLT)

A God-loyal life keeps you on track; sin dumps the wicked in the ditch. — Proverbs 13:6 (MSG)  Proverbs 13:13 (MSG) says: Ignore the Word and suffer; honor God’s commands and grow rich. To live a God-loyal life, is to honor God’s commands. The Word of God is truth, wisdom and life. When we ignore it, we suffer. Our lives are richly rewarded as we give place to the Word, in our hearts and minds. We grow rich in love, grace and mercy. When we live by the Word of God, we will thrive in all areas of life, spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and in our relationships. Stay on the right track by allowing the Word to be your road map, and the Holy Spirit your guide. Then you will avoid detours, ditches and dead-end roads.

A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. — Psalm 84:10 (NLT) One day in the Presence of our heavenly Father is better than a thousand anywhere else. May we prioritize His Presence and honor the privilege of being allowed access to fellowship with our holy God. O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.   (Psalm 63:1-4 NASB) Let us continually praise the LORD, because His unfailing love is better than life itself.

When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation. — Proverbs 10:25 (NKJV)  When the storms blow into your life, remember they will also come to pass, but our God is with us forever. Our mighty God is an everlasting foundation. In Him, you are immovable and can stand firm. You will not be fazed by the momentary troubles, and light affliction.  The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18;2) He is a sure foundation. (Isaiah 28:16) O LORD, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction … (Jeremiah 16:19)

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You discipline and instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, that You may give him power to keep himself calm in the days of adversity, until the [inevitable] pit of corruption is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off nor spurn His people, neither will He abandon His heritage. — Psalm 94:12-14 (AMP) The fact that our great God will never abandon us or reject us gives us power to keep ourselves calm in the midst of adversity and troubling times. May the center of our being remain in perfect peace, no matter how challenging the circumstances appear. As you keep calm, listen for and follow the direction of the Lord.

For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. — Psalm 84:10-11 (NLT) One day in the Presence of God, cannot compare to a lifetime without Him. And He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name (Psalm 100:4, NKJV).

“For I am with you to save you and deliver you,” says the LORD. “I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible.”  — Jeremiah 15:20B-21 (NKJV) The LORD is with you as a mighty, awesome One (Jeremiah 20:11). God is near, not far off. He will save you and deliver you from all your troubles (Psalm 34:17). He will  protect and guide you. He is our hope in the day of doom (Jeremiah 17:17). Amen.

Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers. Rather, he delights in the teachings of the LORD and reflects on his teachings day and night. — Psalm 1:1-2 (GW) So often, we say, “God bless you!” However, if we want to be blessed, we have to be proactive. God has given us a gift, His Word. It is up to us, to unwrap it and gain understanding. When we read the Word and apply it to our lives, true blessings will follow. The Bible is a love letter to us from Almighty God. It speaks of His unending love, grace and faithfulness. Delight yourself in His Word and treasure it in your heart!

For you, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.  — Psalm 97:9-12 (NIV) The LORD preserves the lives of His saints and delivers us from the hand of our enemies. Praise His holy name! He causes His light and joy to shine on those who are upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD!

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him. — Psalm 37:39-40 (NKJV) In times of trouble, the Lord stands by our side and strengthens us. After you have suffered a while, the God of all grace, will perfect, establish, STRENGTHEN, and settle you (1 Peter 5:10). TRUST in the Living God to help you gain the victory in every situation. The psalmist says, “My heart trusted in Him, and I received help” (Psalm 28:7).

Wait on the LORD,
 and keep His way, 
and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; 
When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.  — Psalm 37:34 (NKJV) Wait with hope for the LORD. His way is the only way to experience true success, everlasting peace, abiding joy and a rich, satisfying life. May we move onward when the Spirit of the LORD says, “move” and be still when He says, “stay.” Let us not get distracted and stray away from the way of the LORD. Amen!

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.” - Matthew 12:43-45 (NIV) When the devil comes knocking at your door of your house, let him find it full of the Holy Spirit of the living God.
