And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (Matthew 16:19) May we declare God's Word over earthly situations. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV) Speak words of life, God's Word. “O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” — Jeremiah 32:17 (NLT) When we open the door of our hearts to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, our Savior and our Redeemer, we are new creations. Second Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) says: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. The Lord GOD will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; He will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. — Hebrews 4:12 (NLT) Instead of focusing on the latest news, give your attention to the greatest news of all time, the Word of God. Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) says: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. His word is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path. (See Psalms 119:105 NLT) So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to the commands of the LORD your God. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NLT) This is a very precious and powerful promise because with God all things are possible. (See Matthew 19:26 & Mark 10:27)  The LORD is the One who goes ahead of you. He will be with you. He will not fail you. He will never forsake you. There is no need to fear or be dismayed. “He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t worry.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (MSG)

God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. — Psalm 46:1-2 (TPT) ‘Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10 TPT) We need God every moment of every day. Look to Him always. God is your helper and the sustainer of your soul. (Psalm 54:4) He will accomplish what concerns you. His lovingkindness is everlasting. (See Psalm 138:8)

His help has been well-proven throughout the generations. God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is closer, and He’s always ready to help. There is no reason to run and hide. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5b-6 NLT)

But as for me, I will wait and hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more. — Psalm 71:14 (AMP) I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. (Psalm 34:1 NLT)  The Message Bibles says, I bless God every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise. (Psalm 34:1) When we magnify the LORD, our problems become smaller and the enormity of our God is revealed. Don't let anything stop you from praising our mighty God. No matter what, I’ll trust in you to help me. Nothing will stop me from praising you to magnify your glory!   (Psalm 71:14 TPT) Our personal praise is so powerful. “I will put My Spirit in you and you will come to life, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and fulfilled it,” says the LORD.’”   — Ezekiel 37:12-14 (AMP)  Today, as believers we have the Spirit of the LORD living inside of us. Come to LIFE! The same power that raised Jesus from death to life dwells in us. We are not pitiful, but full of power and life. When we come to Jesus, He gives us a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10b NLT). We have overcome them, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (1 John 5:4-5 NLT) “ For with God nothing will be impossible .” (Luke 1:37 NKJV)

…and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice . — 1 Kings 19:12 (NKJV) When your world has been shaken, or there is nothing left but rubble and ashes, listen carefully for the still small voice of the LORD. Close your ear to the constant chatter of this world and tune in to the voice of Almighty God. When the doctor gives that bad report, open your ear to hear the healing Word of the LORD. The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:4 NKJV) The LORD spoke and created the heavens and the earth. Jesus spoke and the dead were raised to life. (Luke 7:14-15, John 11:42-44) Instead of exposing yourself to the noise of the negative nightly news, tune into the Presence of the LORD and listen for what He is saying. I listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways. — Psalm 85:8 (NLT)

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. — Revelation 12:9 (NKJV) And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. — Revelation 12:17  (NKJV) Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, let us remember that we are in a war. As good soldiers of Jesus Christ, we need to stay engaged and focused on our purpose and mission. Don’t be deceived, distracted, draw back nor drift. Revelation 12:9 (AMP) says, the devil continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world. In order to walk in victory in this life, we must wield the weapon our heavenly Father provided for us: the Word of God. It is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words. — Matthew 11:15 (AMP) God has given us ears to hear and eyes to see. (Proverb 20:12) In the course of a day, we are bombarded with so many voices. In order to hear God's voice we need to turn a deaf ear to the voices of the world and tune our ears to His still small voice. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:4) Let the voice of the LORD override all the other voices you allow to fill your head. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:6 MSG) … for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! (Psalm 95:7 NLT)

He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. — Proverbs 16:20 (NASB) Give attention to the Word of God and you will find good. His Word is living, active and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). It revives and refreshes. His Word strengthens (Psalm 119:28) and gives us hope. As we hear His Word, it grows our faith (Romans 10:17). It comforts us in our affliction and gives us life (Psalm 119:50). His word is truth (Psalm 119:160) and it sets us free from the lies of the enemy. His Word is a lamp that lights up our path and shows us which way to go (Psalm 119:105). God’s Word reveals His goodness, His grace and mercy, and the love He has for us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Be sure to give attention to Jesus. He is the living Word (John 1:14). When we meditate in the Word day and night, and be careful to do everything in accordance with all that is written in it, then we will make our way prosperous, and then we will have good success. ‘Do not tremble nor be afraid [of the violent upheavals to come]; Have I not long ago proclaimed it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? There is no other Rock; I know of none.’” — Isaiah 44:8 (AMP) Don't lose heart, be afraid, nor panic when trouble strikes. In spite of the violent upheavals, our God still reigns. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  (Romans 8:28 NKJV) It is God’s purpose and plan that will prevail (prove more powerful than opposing forces). Amen!

A person’s anxiety will weigh him down, but an encouraging word makes him joyful. — Proverbs 12:25 (GW) God’s Word is the most encouraging Word of all. Philippians 4:6 (NKJV) tells us to be anxious for nothing. Instead of fretting, let us hide the Word of God in our hearts. (Psalm 119:11) His Word is practical and very powerful. It is the truth that stands forever. (Psalm 119:160) The Word is packed with promises. It is our comfort in affliction and it gives us life. (Psalm 119:50)  It revives our souls. (Psalm 119:25) Great peace have those who love His law, and nothing causes them to stumble. (Psalm 119:165) His Word gives us strength (Psalm 119:28). The entrance of His words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. (Psalm 119:130) His word is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path. (Psalm 119:105 NLT) It shows us the way to fulfill God’s purpose and good plan for our lives. Delight yourself in His statutes. (Psalm 119:16)

In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. — Psalm 94:19 (NKJV) Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression (Proverbs 12:25a). So when you are experiencing a multitude of anxieties, cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 NASB). He will comfort your soul. When you are upset and beside yourself, He will calm you down and cheer you up. (Psalm 94:19 MSG) No need to be anxious when our God is on the throne. He is bigger than any mountain you face. He is higher than any hurdle in front of you. He is more powerful than the storms that come, and He will see you through each one.

Thus the children of Israel were subdued at that time; and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD God of their fathers. — 2 Chronicles 13:18 (NKJV) To prevail means to prove more powerful than opposing forces; be victorious. In Matthew 16:18 (NLT) Jesus says, “ Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. ” We are the church and the powers of darkness will not prevail against us, when we rely on the Lord. Trust in the Lord [and rely on Him with unwavering confidence]. (Psalm 31:6b AMP) “They will fight against you, but they will not [ultimately] prevail over you, for I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you,” says the LORD. (Jeremiah 1:19 AMP) O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. (Psalm 84:12 AMP)

We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. — 2 Corinthians 10:5 (MSG) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; (John 10:10a). Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God… (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NKJV) Use God’s mighty weapons to break through the barriers that hinder you from building a beautiful and strong bond with our heavenly Father and brothers and sisters in Christ; one of love, trust and faithfulness. We can bring every loose thought and emotion under subjection, as we renew our minds with His Word. Be a bond builder!

And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!” — Judges 6:12 (NKJV) No matter what challenges you face today, remember, the LORD is with you, mighty man or woman of God. With God we are mighty. As long as you are with God, you are not pitiful, but powerful. With him, the weak can say, “I am strong!” With God, we rise from being victims to being victorious. We have overcome because the Spirit who lives in us is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. (1 John 4:4). “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NIV)

Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (MSG) Prayer (talking to God) is much more powerful and produces better results than worrying (talking to self). It is definitely more beneficial than complaining or gossiping (talking to others). No matter how complicated or difficult the situation there is always something to be thankful for. Thank God that He can restore the years that the locust has eaten. Praise the LORD that He is able to give you double for all your trouble. Amen and Hallelujah! ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. By an act of faith, Isaac reached into the future as he blessed Jacob and Esau. — Hebrews 11:20 (MSG) I beg to differ with the saying “Sticks & stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.” Words are very powerful. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it! With our words we carry the potential to bless or curse, build up or tear down, bring together or create division. Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose (Proverbs 18:21 MSG). Our words are like a bridge that creates the passageway from the present to the future. May we reach into the future with words of life and blessing. Let’s lift those who hear our words up and not drag them down or beat them up. Amen!
