This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. — Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) In order to have good success we need to meditate in the Word of God and obey what is written in it. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit (See Ephesians 6:17), our weapon against the enemy. In order to use it effectively, let us meditate in it, treasure it in our hearts, that we may not sin against Yahweh. (See Psalms 119:11) Joshua instructed the Israelites: “So be very careful to follow everything Moses wrote in the Book of Instruction. Do not deviate from it, turning either to the right or to the left. Rather, cling tightly to the LORD your God as you have done until now.” (Joshua 23:6, 8 NLT) Let us not deviate from the Holy Scriptures, nor the will of God. Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all.  — Psalms 34:19 (AMP)  Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through... (See Peter 4:12 NLT) In John 16:33 (NLT), Yeshua told his disciples: “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.” Let us not be overwhelmed when troubles come our way. Yeshua instructed us to take courage. In Him, we may have peace. He has overcome the world.  This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. (Psalms 34:6-7 NASB1995) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from ALL their troubles. Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory?  The LORD of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory. Interlude — Psalm 24:8-10 (NLT) Jesus stands at the door and continually knocks. He says: “…if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” (See Revelation 3:20) Open up the door of your heart to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Make it a priority to dine with Him daily. He will calm all your fears and keep you in perfect peace, because He has overcome the world. (See John 16:33) Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. (See 1 John 4:4 AMP)

  In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me. He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies. — Psalm 59:10 (NLT) In 2 Timothy 4:16-17 (NLT), the Apostle Paul says: “The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them. But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death.” The Lord stands with you and strengthens you too.  Yahweh rescues us from our troubles and helps us to triumph over our enemies. (See Psalm 54:7) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. For your heart will always pursue what you esteem as your treasure. ” — Matthew 6:19-21 (TPT) As we are in the process of discarding our material possessions in preparation for our move, I can tell you that earthly goods truly are rubbish. Let us pursue heavenly treasures: loving God, His Presence, and His Word. Cultivate genuine friendships and healthy relationships. They are more valuable than any trinkets or collectibles. May we cherish time spent with loved ones, and invest in lives being touched and transformed, as the Spirit of God works through us to draw others to Jesus. These are true heavenly riches! When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation. — Proverbs 10:25 (NASB) ...we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NASB) The storms of life may come, but they also come to pass. However, we have an everlasting foundation that withstands the winds of adversity. In John 16:33 (MSG), Jesus said: “ I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world. ” Trust Jesus and abide in the deep peace that He provides. Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand. — Isaiah 41:10 (TPT)

Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. — Psalm 46:10 (TPT) O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens! (Psalm 8:1 (NASB) The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10 NASB) Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the LORD, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. — Deuteronomy 4:39 (NASB)

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT) Our heavenly Father is not only the source of our comfort. He is our Source. In Psalm 78:38 (AMP), He is the source of compassion and lovingkindness. He is the source of our peace and joy. Psalm 43:4 (NLT) says: “ There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!”  He is also the source of our healing and wholeness. Malachi 4:2 says: “ The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings .” When you are experiencing troubles of any kind, run to your Source. He has an unlimited supply of all that you need.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. — Psalm 91:1 (AMP) We remain secure when we dwell in the shelter of the Most High. The word dwell indicates a permanent place of residence. If we want to remain secure, we cannot use the LORD as a temporary place to stay, where we check-in and check-out on Sunday morning. We are to abide with Him, seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious and merciful to me, for my soul finds shelter and safety in You, and in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge and be confidently secure until destruction passes by. (Psalm 57:1AMP) I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah  —Psalm 61:4 (NKJV)

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. — Galatians 3:26 (NLT) To all who receive Christ, to those who believe in his name, He gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12). We are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s family. (Ephesians 2:19). Being a child of God is not about religion, rules or rituals. It's all about relationship, a healthy, thriving relationship with our Maker. The Message Bible says, by faith in Christ you are in direct relationship with God. (Galatians 3:26 MSG). We are sons and daughters of the Most High God, and He is our Heavenly Father. Being a child of God is our highest calling, and the richest, most privileged relationship we can engage in. Our relationship is based on the unconditional love Abba, Father, has for us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39). Let His powerful love permeate every area of your b...

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? — Romans 8:31 (NKJV) While it may appear, at the moment, that a battle has been lost, we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:3). And remember, that despite all these things (whatever things you are going through), overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NLT).

I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word. — Psalm 119:147 (NKJV) There is a proliferation of self-help books, and how-to guides, lining the shelves of bookstores today. However, for improvement and success in life, we need the original owners manual for our souls, the Word of God. The Word is a love letter from the One who created us. It’s pages bear the blood of our Savior, who loved us enough to give His life to save us. The Word of God is a road map. It will navigate us to a fruitful land of abundant life, peace that surpasses all understanding and a lovingkindness that will outlast any storm. He sent His Word and healed us, and delivered us from our destructions (Psalm 107:20). Hope continually in His Word!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah — Psalm 46:1-3 (NKJV) The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah (Psalm 46:11) With God on our side, who can stand against us? Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)!

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV) No matter what comes your way, always remember, you are not abandoned. God's love will never run out on you. When you pass through the waters, the LORD will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2). “The LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:8) He is with you and will deliver you from all your troubles!

Many rulers believed in Jesus. However, they wouldn’t admit it publicly because the Pharisees would have thrown them out of the synagogue. They were more concerned about what people thought of them than about what God thought of them. — John 12:42-43 (GW) Are you trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? What our heavenly Father thinks of us, is of utmost importance. May we never be more concerned about what people think about us than what God thinks about us. To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness (Ecclesiastes 2:26). Live for an audience of One!

And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, Exodus 34:6 (NIV) Our great God abounds in lovingkindness and truth. He is slow to anger, and full of mercy and grace. His grace is sufficient for us. The LORD is patient and always ready to forgive, not wishing for any to perish but for all to repent (2 Peter 3:9). The compassions of the LORD never fail, they are new every morning. God is good and always faithful. Praise the name of the LORD!

Unless the Lord had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Psalm 94:17-19 (NLT) The help of the Lord has sustained my very life. "And you, because of my blood covenant with you, I'll release your prisoners, from their hopeless cells. Come home, you hope-filled prisoners! This very day I'm declaring a double bonus  — everything you lost returned twice over!" Zechariah 9:11-12 (The Message) Our Lord Jesus Christ releases prisoners from hopelessness. If you are held captive by discouragement or doubt, return to the place of safety, under the wing of the heavenly father. The Lord will fill you with hope as you believe and trust in Him.
