We are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession… (See 1 Peter 2:9) Rise up for the battle is the LORD’s, and He has already given us the victory. “In times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD. — Psalm 89:15 (NLT) Why worry, when you are called to worship? Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for holy is the Lord our God. (Psalm 99:9 NASB) Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. (Psalm 29:2 NKJV) O LORD, our LORD, How majestic is Your name in all the earth! (Psalm 8:9 NASB) Just one day in the courts of Your temple is greater than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather serve as a porter at my God’s doorstep than live in luxury in the house of the wicked. (Psalm 84:10 VOICE)

Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. — Psalm 20:7-8 (NLT) In Genesis 4:26 (AMP), men began to call on the name of the Lord [in worship through prayer, praise, and thanksgiving]. Let us continually lift His name on high. From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the LORD is to be praised. (Psalm 113:3 NASB) Before David conquered His enemy, he declared “I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts….” (1 Samuel 17:45 NASB) Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8 NKJV) May we trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon our God. (Isaiah 50:10)  When we boast in His name, we will rise up and stand firm! The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. — Proverbs 18:10 (NLT)

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? — Psalm 42:1-2 (NKJV) Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture … (Psalm 95:6-7a) Let us prioritize being in His Presence. As we spend time in His Presence, our awareness of His greatness is awakened. We realize He is able to conquer every situation that confronts us. Let us worship King Jesus. In His Presence, we encounter His love, His peace, and His grace. In His Presence, we are filled to overflowing with unspeakable joy. As we thirst for Him, our souls will be satisfied. Come, and appear before Him today.

So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.” — 1 Samuel 7:8 (NKJV) In 1 Samuel 7:9, Samuel gave the LORD a burnt offering and cried out to Him for Israel, and the LORD answered him. So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel (1 Samuel 7:13a NKJV). Don’t ever stop calling upon the LORD. When we call upon Him, He will answer. (Jeremiah 33:3) First Thessalonians 5:17 (AMP) tells us to be unceasing and persistent in prayer. Let's not just pray for ourselves and the challenges we face, but also for our families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, nation and the world. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT). But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone.
