Manna for Your Morning

O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Make your life a prayer. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:6-7 TPT)

Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude…  — Philippians 4:6 (TPT) Instead of letting worries occupy your mind and shape your life, make your specific requests to our great God, with thanksgiving, for who He is and for all He has done. Be grateful for what He is doing at this present moment. Be thankful that His ear is always open to hear your voice. I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. We were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus. (Acts 20:28, 1 Corinthians 6:20) Jesus is our strong foundation and the Solid Rock on which we can stand. He is our refuge and strong fortress where we can hide in times of trouble. He is our deliverer. He delivers us from our enemies. Christ is the chief Cornerstone. He who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame. (1 Peter 2:6) Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Hebrews 13:15) He is worthy of all honor, praise and glory.

Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. — Psalm 20:7-8 (NLT) In Genesis 4:26 (AMP), men began to call on the name of the Lord [in worship through prayer, praise, and thanksgiving]. Let us continually lift His name on high. From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the LORD is to be praised. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) It’s when we try to figure everything out on our own that we end up anxious, worried, and frustrated, or even fearful. When we take everything to God in prayer, and continually thank Him for all He has done and for the gracious God that He is, we experience the peace of God. [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. (Philippians 4:7 AMP) When we have the peace of God guarding our hearts and minds, we can stand strong, and not be moved by adverse circumstances.
