Manna for Your Morning

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV) Many of us seek security in doing things the way we have always done them, but God is doing a new thing. Instead of trying to keep Him in the box of what He did yesterday, let God be the Lord of our lives and expect Him to do a new thing, something we have never seen before. We don't need to figure everything out on our own, we just need to walk in the way the LORD directs us to. Even though you don’t see the whole journey mapped out before you, be confident that God is making a way to get you from where you are today to the land He promised you.

The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. He will renew your strength so you can spread your wings and soar like an eagle. With the LORD on your side, who can stand against you? You have all that you need. Amen!

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?  — Psalm 42:1-2 (NIV) When you thirst for water nothing else will satisfy, not a cold glass of milk or a cup of hot tea. When our soul longs for the presence of God, nothing else will satisfy. Some try to fill the emptiness with alcohol or drugs, but nothing will satisfy and quench our thirst like the Presence of Almighty God. Our God is ALIVE! and He is ABLE to take care of everything that concerns you. What are you waiting for? Thirst no more. He is ready to meet with YOU now!
