Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! Wishing to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas for them, and after having Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified. — Mark 15:15 (NASB) Pilate wanted to satisfy the crowd. Instead of trying to please people, may we seek to please our Creator. For He is our Maker and we are the people of His pasture. He created us with a plan and purpose. Let us stay on the path He set before us. He will guide you along the best pathway for your life. He will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8) Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, difficult place. He will continually restore strength to you, so you will flourish like a well-watered garden and like an ever-flowing, trustworthy spring of blessing. (Isaiah 58:11 TPT)

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” — Matthew 2:1-2 (NKJV) Let us continually seek the Lord. Seek to do His will, His Way. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). His ways are higher than the ways of this world. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Psalm 95:6) May we humble ourselves and kneel before the LORD. Kneeling is a reminder of our position before Him. He is above all. He is our Maker, the One who created us. He is worthy of our worship. Kneeling is a sign of submission, reverence, respect and honor. “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, (1 Peter 5:6).
