Don't Despair

Image
“So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison,” — 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (TPT) Don't despair. Whatever troubles we experience in this life, they are light and momentary. They will eventually come to pass. “Pour out all your worries and stress upon God and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you.” (See 1 Peter 5:7 TPT) 7 Since God cares for you with deepest affection, let Him carry all your burdens and worries. (See 1 Peter 5:7 VOICE & AMP)

Never Give Up

Image
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.  — Romans 8:18 (NASB) That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NLT) Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:17) Fix your gaze upon Him.

Bless the LORD

Image
Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. — Psalm 29:1-2 (NKJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle. (Psalm 103:1-5 NASB) The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NLT) Amen and hallelujah!

New Life

Image
So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (MSG) Do not be discouraged or lose heart. Despite momentary afflictions, our inner man is being renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT)

At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9 NLT). Fight the good fight of faith. Finish the race. Keep the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)

Surrounded

Image
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NKJV) Our heavenly Father surrounds us with arms of love. His eye watches over us to protect us and guide us along as we go about our day. He upholds us with His mighty hand. (Psalm 37:24) When you call out to Him, He will answer. Psalm 138:3 (AMP) says: On the day I called, You answered me; and You made me bold and confident with [renewed] strength in my life. You can be certain that the LORD will perfect that which concerns you. (Psalm 138:8a) For you bless the godly, O LORD; you surround them with your shield of love. (Psalm 5:12 NLT)

Loaded with Benefits

Image
Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah — Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) Let us be mindful of the wide array of benefits the Lord bestows upon us every moment of our day. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5 NIV) The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness;  his mercies begin afresh each morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT) Hallelujah!

His Power in Us

Image
So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (MSG) Do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV). Let us give thanks and praise to the LORD, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are His works, and my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:14 AMP). It is Christ’s mighty power that works within us. (Colossians 1:29) And His power works best when we admit our weaknesses. The Apostle Paul said, “I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9b NLT). His unfolding grace is all we need to go from glory to glory. Each and every day His grace unfolds new life in us so we can persistently pursue all that God has for us. “ My grace is all you need...

Healed & Whole

Image
He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.” — Luke 22:19 (NLT) Jesus sacrificed His body for us. He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed (Isaiah 53:5 NLT). The Amplified Bible says, the punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him… (Isaiah 53:5b). Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit] (2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP). Jesus opened the door for us to live healthy and whole. May we allow His Spirit to work in us and bring about a complete healing (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually), that we may be whole and enjoy the abundant life our Savior came to give us!

Loaded with Benefits

Image
Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah — Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) Not only does the LORD give us new mercies and compassions every morning, He also loads us up, every day, with His priceless benefits. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits— He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from the pit and crowns us with love and compassion. He satisfies our desires with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5) Bless the LORD O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! (Psalm 103:1 NKJV)

Don’t Lose Heart!

Image
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NASB) So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace (2 Corinthians 4:16 MSG). Every day, God gives us new compassions and fresh mercies. Wherever you are today, with God, you are moving on to bigger and better things. Amen!

Go! In the Strength of the LORD

Image
My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. — Psalm 73:26 (NKJV) Do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV).  God arms us with strenth. He empowers us by His Holy Spirit in us, to do all that He has called us to do. Go in the strength of the Lord GOD (Psalm 71:16a NKJV)! Go from strength to strength increasing in victorious power!

Rejoice in the Resurrection!

Image
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. — Matthew 28:5-6 (NKJV) When the women told the apostles about the empty tomb, their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them (Luke 24:11). In order for the power of the resurrection to have any effect in our lives, we must believe. Followers of Jesus can rejoice in the resurrection. The fact that Jesus defeated death and rose again, gives believers the power to live in freedom and victory. His resurrection infuses in us renewed strength and hope. Just as Jesus triumphed and overcame the world, we too can be victorious. He made a way for us. Thank you, Jesus!

Renewed Hope & Cheer!

Image
If God hadn’t been there for me, I never would have made it. The minute I said, “I’m slipping, I’m falling,” your love, God, took hold and held me fast. When I was upset and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up.  — Psalm 94:17-19 (MSG) When life events, knock us off balance, God's unfailing love will hold us up. He will set your feet on solid ground and establish your steps. If doubts fill your mind, His comfort will give you renewed hope and cheer (Psalm 94:19, NLT). Hallelujah!

Loaded with Benefits, Daily!

Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah — Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) Let us praise the Lord and forget not, all His benefits. Every day He heaps benefits upon us. The Lord forgives all our sins. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:12). He heals all our diseases. By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Lord redeems our lives from the pit and crowns us with love and compassion. It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not (Lamentations 3:22, AMP). He satisfies our desires with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5)

“Rejoice, highly favored one!”

And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” — Luke 1:28 (NKJV) We are highly favored and blessed because the Lord is with us. He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from the pit and crowns us with love and compassion. He satisfies our desires with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalms 103:3-5, NIV). See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1a, NIV) His unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth (Psalms 103:11, NLT). Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, all the days God gives you!

Strong, Overcoming & Soaring!

Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! — Psalm 103:1, 5 (AMP) Let us praise the LORD, with hearts of gratitude. He fills our lives with good things (Psalm 103:5, NLT) and renews our youthful spirits. As we continually hope in the LORD, He renews our strength, so we can soar on wings like eagles; we can run and not grow weary, we will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31, NIV). Like eagles, we can be strong, overcoming and soar high above the circumstances of our lives. Amen!

Into His Arms

I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms—I’m celebrating your rescue. I’m singing at the top of my lungs, I’m so full of answered prayers.  — Psalm 13:5-6 (The Message) Our God is a mighty God and the safest place for us is in His arms. Throw yourself headlong into the arms of our heavenly Father, that's head first. That means we have to get our minds renewed according to the Word of God, then the rest of us will follow, our bodies, our tongues, etc. As we stay in His arms, He carries us close to His heart. Always remember the wonderful works the LORD has done in your midst. Thank and praise Him for answered prayers and for what is yet to come.

Your Strength & Stronghold

And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold. — Nehemiah 8:10 (AMP) Need more joy? Draw closer to our heavenly Father. In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Delight yourself in the LORD, rejoicing always before Him and your strength will be continually renewed. He will be your stronghold: a fortified place that protects against attack.

His Word Gives Light

The entrance of Your words gives light;  It gives understanding to the simple.  — Psalm 119:130 (NKJV) God's Word translation says, "Your Word is a doorway that lets in light," (Psalm 119:130). Open the doorway of your mind to God's Word daily and let it be renewed. His Word is a light for your path. It will show you which way to go.
