“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” — Psalms 37:23 (NLT) A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) We have no problem following the GPS to get where we want to go. However, we sometimes hesitate and question the steps Yahweh directs us to take. Know that Yahweh’s plans for you are good, for peace and well-being. May you follow His instructions to get to the glorious destination He has for you. He has not brought you this far to leave you now.  “ For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. ” — Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

 and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. — Psalms 37:23-24 (AMP) As we faithfully follow the direction of Yahweh, He will establish our steps. Depart from evil and do good; And you will dwell [securely in the land] forever. For the LORD delights in justice and does not abandon His saints (faithful ones); They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off. The righteous will inherit the land and live in it forever. (Psalms 37:27-29 AMP) …the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is our refuge and stronghold in the time of trouble. The LORD helps us and rescues us; He rescues the righteous from the wicked and saves us, because we take refuge in Him. (See Psalms 37:39-40 AMP)

Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, “The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant.” — Psalms 35:27 (NASB1995) Prosperity is a state of flourishing and thriving (experiencing good success) in all areas of life. Yahweh has pleasure in the prosperity of His people. Proverbs 13:21 (NASB1995) says: Adversity pursues sinners, but the righteous will be rewarded with prosperity. Psalms 37:11 says, the humble will inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity. Deuteronomy 30:15 (NLT) says: “Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.” Every day we get to make a decision to trust in and follow Yahweh. When we don’t choose Him, we are headed for disaster, destruction and death. Choose life in order that you may live! Who is the man who fears the LORD? Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. — Romans 12:1 (TPT) Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16 NASB) So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 NLT) May we respond to God’s marvelous love and mercy by continually worshiping Him with our entire beings. Worship Him with your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and with your physical bodies. Be grateful for this glorious treasure we have in our earthen vessels (2 Corinthians 4:7) Elohim, the great and powerful Creator of the universe, has given us the honor and privilege of hosting His Holy Spirit. When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word]. ” — Psalm 27:8 (AMP) The Presence of our heavenly Father is our greatest need, and praise God, that He will never leave nor forsake us. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus said, “… and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ” Before you feed your physical body with food and drink, fill your spiritual cup with the delights of His Presence. Before you scan your social media posts, be still and acknowledge His Presence first. As we maintain continual conversation with Him throughout our day, we deepen our intimacy with the LORD. Always listen for His still small voice. As children of God, it's not about rules and religion. Instead, our lives are to be about growing and developing our relationship with our heavenly Father and inviting others to join our awesome family.

(Psalm 37:23b NLT) When we stumble He is there to catch us. When we cry, He puts our tears into His bottle (Psalm 56:8)  The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8 NLT) Now you’ve got my feet on the life path, all radiant from the shining of your face. Ever since you took my hand, I’m on the right way. (Psalm 16:11 MSG)

Then the LORD said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? — Numbers 14:11 (NKJV) All the men who were sent to explore the promise land came back and gave the people a bad report, except Joshua and Caleb. They spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ (Numbers 14:7-8) And only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive, of the men who went to spy out the land. (Numbers 14:38). They had a different spirt and followed God wholeheartedly (Numbers 14:24). Don't receive the bad report. Our God is good all the time. Believe the LORD and follow Him wholeheartedly to your promise land.

And Moses said to them, “Stand still, that I may hear what the LORD will command concerning you.” — Numbers 9:8 (NKJV) Instead of rushing into something God has not called you to, stand still and wait to hear His instruction and guidance. Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for Him to act. (Psalm 37:7a NLT). Do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. (Psalm 37:7b NIV). In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. — Proverbs 16:9 (NIV) Few would board a plane with no flight plan, one that was just going to fly around awhile and then possibly land before it ran out of gas, at some unknown location. However, many coast through life, with no plan, jus t reacting to the winds that blow their way. Yes, the LORD has plans for us, plans to give us hope and a future, but we have to take the steps necessary to bring the plan to life. Chart your course and He will show you the way and the time. When all others desert you, it is the LORD who stands by your side. When you find yourself in a pit, He will reach down and pull you out. Our heavenly Father attends to every detail of our lives. Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. (Psalm 37:3 NKJV)

He also delights in being involved in every detail of our lives. Take all your cares and concerns to our heavenly Father. We never have to feel like we are bothering God. He wants us to come to Him, with all our concerns, questions and fears, etc. His ear is always attentive to His children. And it tickles the heart of God when His children give Him thanks for working out the details of our lives.

He delights to be involved in every detail of our lives. When it comes to us, He leaves nothing to chance. Though we may fall, we shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps our hand in support and upholds us. (Psalm 37:24 AMP). Let us be grateful that He cares enough to be concerned.

Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.  — Psalm 140:13 (NKJV) The presence of the LORD is to be our dwelling place, our home, the place where we live. In His presence is fullness of joy, everlasting peace and unfailing love. For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory (Psalm 149:4 NLT). The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV). Abide in His presence!

Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. — Psalm 37:5-6 (NKJV) Even though a man’s heart plans his way, it is the LORD who directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9). For good and lasting success, commit everything you do to the LORD and trust Him to bring it to pass in His perfect timing. The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way... (Psalm 37:23 AMP).

For the LORD delights in his people;  he crowns the humble with victory. — Psalm 149:4 (NLT) The LORD our God is with us, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He takes great delight in us and rejoices over us with singing. God is ever mindful of us. He calms all our fears, with His love. Like a devoted father, takes care of his children, our heavenly Father provides for all our needs and works all things together for good. As a loving mother is attentive to her baby, Abba Father keeps watch over us and delights in our well-being. Find comfort in His care and rejoice in the LORD, our great God!

Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. — Psalm 112:1-3 (NKJV) Blessed is the man or woman of God who fears (reveres, honors and worships) the LORD. Their descendants will be blessed also. Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! (Psalm 111:10, NLT) As we greatly delight in doing things God's way, He will show us the path we should choose. We will live in prosperity, and our children will inherit the land (Psalm 25:12-13, NLT). What better legacy to leave your children and grandchildren than a foundation of faith and following after the LORD?

Nothing that happens in your life catches God by surprise. He has already worked out every challenge you face. Make each step, a step of faith as you follow the path He sets before you, and you will overcome any obstacles and live a victorious life.

Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers. Rather, he delights in the teachings of the LORD and reflects on his teachings day and night. — Psalm 1:1-2 (GW) So often, we say, “God bless you!” However, if we want to be blessed, we have to be proactive. God has given us a gift, His Word. It is up to us, to unwrap it and gain understanding. When we read the Word and apply it to our lives, true blessings will follow. The Bible is a love letter to us from Almighty God. It speaks of His unending love, grace and faithfulness. Delight yourself in His Word and treasure it in your heart!

I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. — Psalm 138:2 (NKJV)      The LORD loves us with an everlasting love and He draws us near to Him in lovingkindness. He does not give as the world gives. To the world you may be a hero one day and a big, fat zero the next. Our heavenly Father delights in declaring His lovingkindness every morning (Psalm 92:2). His love never fails and it never runs out.      His Word is truth and it too, stands forever. May we desire truth in our inmost being. First Peter 2:2 tells us to, crave the pure, spiritual milk of the word, that you may grow. His truth will set you free, free to LOVE, free to LIVE, free to wholeheartedly WORSHIP God!
