Manna for Your Morning

(Acts 2:21 NKJV) For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer]. “For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD [in prayer] will be saved.” (Romans 10:12-13 AMP) “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ (Acts 17:27-28 NLT) For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow do wn into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”  — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) As we have received Messiah Yeshua as Lord, let us continue to walk in union with Him [reflecting His character in the things we do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], (See Colossians 2:6 TLV & AMP). “What delight comes to the one who follows God’s ways! He won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat. His passion is to remain true to the Word of “I AM,” meditating day and night on the true revelation of light. He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever ...

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. — Revelation 3:20 (NKJV) Yeshua is continually knocking on the door of your heart. May your ears be open to hear His voice. Keep your heart and mind wide open to receive more of Him. Open your arms and embrace the Prince of Peace. Receive His unfailing love. He will fill your cup to overflowing. Let it spill out on those around you. Our compassionate King is rich in grace and mercy. Let go of anything hindering you from abiding in Him. As you receive from our generous Savior, be sure to share all that you receive from Him with others  —the hope, the peace, the compassion, the forgiveness, etc. Make dining with the King of kings and Lord of lords a priority, every day.

Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. — James 1:17 (NASB) Let us thank God for every good and perfect gift that He gives us on a daily basis. He is gracious and generous and He never changes. He is the Father of lights. God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. (See 1 John 1:5 NASB1995) He called us OUT of darkness INTO His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9 AMP) Come out! May we continually abide in His light, the light of His love and joy. And walk in the light of wisdom and truth. The darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining. (1 John 2:8 NASB1995) His light shows us The Way: Jesus! He is the only Way to God (John 14:6) and He is the most perfect gift to humanity of all time. He is the Truth and the Life. And in love he chose us before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence. — Ephesians 1:4 (TPT) …you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 NLT) What joy for the nation whose God is the LORD, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. (Psalm 3:12 NLT)

Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. — Lamentations 3:23 (NLT) Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. (Psalm 36:5 NASB) For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:5 NASB) Joshua told the Israelites: “Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the LORD your God has come true. Not a single one has failed!” (Joshua 23:14 NLT)  Our mighty God does not change. He still fulfills every promise, He has made. In Isaiah 55:11 (NASB), He says: “ So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. ” Keep your hope and trust in God. He is faithful to deliver you out of all your troubles (See Psalm 34:17)

“… And do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is your strength and your stronghold. ” — Nehemiah 8:10b (AMP) Time spent worrying is wasted time, and it weakens your faith. However, we remain strong when we hold onto the joy of the LORD. Jesus said, “ The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. ” (John 10:10 NASB) The enemy is always looking for an opportunity to steal your joy. If he steals your joy, he can kill your hope and destroy lives. Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, (James 1:2 NASB)

Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. — Hebrews 4:16 (MSG) As Believers in Christ, we have ready access to our heavenly Father. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. (Hebrews 4:16 AMP) Amen.

Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah — Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) Let us be mindful of the wide array of benefits the Lord bestows upon us every moment of our day. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5 NIV) The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness;  his mercies begin afresh each morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT) Hallelujah!

As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. — Micah 7:7 (NLT) The minute we think we have everything under control, we think more highly of ourselves than we ought and we have allowed the pride of our hearts to deceive us. (Obadiah 1:3). May we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt us in due time (1 Peter 5:6). Let us look to the LORD for help and confidently wait with full expectation that He will cause everything to work together for the good of those who love Him. He shines His light in the darkness and makes right the wrongs. He heals the broken-hearted and proclaims liberty to those held captive.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? — 2 Corinthians 13:5a (NKJV) Let us examine our hearts. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified (Romans 10:10a). Do you have great faith like the centurion who said to Jesus, “…but only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” (Matthew 8:8). Or are you more like the disciples who panicked and awoke Jesus, in the midst of a storm. He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 8:26). Jesus, in His compassion took care of both. Even if you had little faith in the past, it's not too late, faith is now. Faith is for the present time, today. “Do not be afraid; only believe.” (Mark 5:26). “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23).

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery . — Galatians 5:1 (NIV) Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave is a transient, who can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through (John 8:34-36 MSG). In our pursuit of happiness, let us remember that true liberty and abundant life are found in Jesus, our Lord and Savior. He paid the ultimate price with His precious blood and gave His life for us all!

Being united with God is my highest good. I have made the Almighty LORD my refuge so that I may report everything that he has done.  — Psalm 73:28 (GW) It is good for us to draw near to God and stay connected to Him. Abide in the very presence of God and be led by His Holy Spirit. He is our safe place, our refuge, our shelter when the storms of life come. Tell everyone about the wonderful works He has done!

The LORD answered, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you peace.” — Exodus 33:14 (GW) Dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of your life and experience His deep abiding peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guards your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Draw near to the LORD daily, and enjoy the abundant peace and security found only in His Presence!

If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. Psalm 139:8-10 (NIV) When bad things happen people often ask, "Where is God?" He is by your side when you receive that bad report, holding your hand, and being your strength. He is your comfort and your support. His arms embrace you and His hand guides you through the dark times. He is the lifter of your head. Our heavenly Father is Jehovah Shammah, an ever-present God! He is always with us, today, tomorrow and forever. Praise the LORD!

Then he saw wisdom and evaluated it. He set it in place and examined it thoroughly. And this is what he says to all humanity: ‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding.’ ” Job 28:27-28 (NLT) Reverence the LORD and avoid all evil. True wisdom comes from God alone. He always knows what to do. Fill your heart and mind with wisdom through His Holy Spirit who dwells in you. As we gain a deeper understanding of God and His ways, we are more equipped to fulfill the wonderful plans God designed for each one of us.
