Manna for Your Morning

Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. — Philippians 4:4-5 (TPT) Ecclesiastes 3:1 says: There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— (NASB) Therefore, in every situation and season, let our hearts be full of gratitude, continually giving thanks to God. In every season, we are united with Christ. The Lord will lead us and guide us. In every season, He provides and He protects. Remember what God has done and look at what He is doing now. Our hearts will overflow with joy, as we believe God's Word and trust that He is working everything together for our good.

But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. — Ephesians 2:13 (NLT) As children of God, our heavenly Father brings us near. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18 NKJV). He called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most (Hebrews 4:16 NLT). Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:22 NLT).

But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope (Ephesians 2:12). Life apart from Christ is a life with no hope. So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family (Ephesians 2:19). As members of God’s family we have been given access to enjoy a close intimate relationship with our heavenly Father. We are not visitors. We don’t wear welcome out. Our heavenly Father wants us close to Him at all times. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. — Ephesians 4:1-3 (NLT) The Amplified Bible implores us to live a life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and mature behavior—a life that expresses gratitude to God… (Ephesians 4:1). Living as a follower of Christ is a higher calling. However, answering the call of God for your life will lead you to a live in a higher place, closer to our heavenly Father and above earthly circumstances. You have been called and chosen by God, will you rise to the occasion?

Being united with God is my highest good. I have made the Almighty LORD my refuge so that I may report everything that he has done.  — Psalm 73:28 (GW) It is good for us to draw near to God and stay connected to Him. Abide in the very presence of God and be led by His Holy Spirit. He is our safe place, our refuge, our shelter when the storms of life come. Tell everyone about the wonderful works He has done!

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! — Psalm 133:1 (NKJV) Jesus prayed for all believers to dwell together in unity. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me,” (John 17:20-21). Our unity is a testimony to the world. Let us eagerly pursue the things which bring peace and make every effort to be united in love.

The person who is joined to the Lord is one with Him in spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17). And as long as we stand with God, no one will be able to stand against us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). With God's powerful presence at work in us, we are more than conquerors.

Ephesians 2:13 (NLT) Because Jesus Christ, shed His precious blood and gave His life for us, we have been brought near to God. Before He created the foundation of the world, God chose you. Our heavenly Father loves you and carries you close to His heart. He showers you with new compassions every morning. In His lovingkindness God shows us His amazing mercy and grace. He gives us abundant life, peace and joy. Thank you Abba Father!
