Manna for Your Morning

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! What we see now is partial and incomplete. But one day we will know everything completely. Then we will know fully just as we also have been fully known by our heavenly Father. What we can do now, is continue to praise the Lord Most High. Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you. — Psalm 91:5-7 (NASB) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear… (1 John 4:18) and the love our heavenly Father has for us perfect and unfailing. He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. (Psalm 91:4 AMP) For you have made the LORD, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:9-11 NASB)

Hatred keeps old quarrels alive, but love draws a veil over every insult and finds a way to make sin disappear. — Proverbs 10:12  (TPT) In God’s great love for us, He removes our transgressions from us, as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). May we love love others, the way our heavenly Father loves us. Those who forgive faults foster love, but those who repeatedly recall them ruin relationships. (Proverbs 17:9 VOICE) Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others]. (1 Peter 4:8 AMP) Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught… — Proverbs 3:3a (TPT)

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority —   Psalm 8:3-6 (NLT) Our heavenly Father and Creator of the universe, is mindful of us. Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. (Psalm 139:17-18 TPT) Never think for one moment, our ever-present God has forgotten about you. He is working all things together for your good.

And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” — Galatians 4:6 (NLT) May we set our affections on our heavenly Father, as His affections are upon us. His faithful love endures forever (1 Chronicles 16:34 NLT). He did not create us and leave us to our own devices. Instead, He is with us, as our constant Companion, to lead us and guide us along on the path that leads to abundant life. He is continually attentive to every detail of our lives, right down to the number of hairs on your head. Our mighty God is our protection and our Provider. He watches over us, and is always ready to rescue. He delivers us from all our troubles. At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you for your kindness and your love. As the sun sets and all through the night, we will keep proclaiming, “ You are so faithful! ” (Psalm 92:2 TPT) …I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh, for your name is good to me. ...

“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. ”— Isaiah 55:8-9 (NASB) Trust God and let Him lead you and guide you through this day, by His Holy Spirit. Instead of doing things the way you always do them, ask our heavenly Father to show you His way. He has already gone before you and His way is always the best way. The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8 NLT) So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalm 32:9 TPT)

Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him. The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love. — 1 John 4:7-8 (TPT) Beloved brothers and sisters, let us be vessels of God’s love. As He continually pours His love into us, let us be devoted to unselfishly love and seek the best for one another. In Matthew 5:44-45 (TPT), Jesus says: “love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them. For that will reveal your identity as children of your heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil.” Lavish the love you generously receive from God on all who come your way.

Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” — Psalm 46:10 (AMP) When we pause from the hustle and bustle of life, and sit in the throne room of Almighty God, we are able to catch a glimpse of His glory. As we quiet our thoughts, and focus on our heavenly Father, we gain a deeper revelation and appreciation of our great God. Cease striving and experience the fullness of joy that comes in His Presence. Be captivated by His love and grace. Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. — Psalm 46:10 (TPT)

Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments; — Deuteronomy 7:9 (NASB) Know without a doubt that our God is a faithful Father. While people may disappoint you and let you down, our heavenly Father is forever faithful. He is faithful to fulfill every promise He has spoken. Trust and rely on His lovingkindness and faithfulness; Rejoice and delight in His salvation. (Psalm 13:5) Like a bird protecting its young, God will cover you with His feathers, will protect you under His great wings; His faithfulness will form a shield around you, a rock-solid wall to protect you. (Psalm 91:4 VOICE) Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. — 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NLT)

Let us pay more attention to our Mighty God than to our cell phones, our social media posts or our favorite sports team. Give greater attention to the One we celebrate, than to the activities and events themselves. Be intentional in your thoughts of our heavenly Father and Christ our Savior. Cherish Him constantly.

You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me. — Psalm 139:5 (TPT) Our heavenly Father formed us in our mother’s womb and brought us into this world. When our days on this earth are done, He will be the One who welcomes us into a glorious eternity. And each day in between, He will be by our side, as we journey through life. We have the blessing of His Presence and His hand of love, gently leads us along the pathway that leads to life and life more abundantly. His hand of love is our protection and our peace. Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night. — Psalm 139:10-11 (TPT)

The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. — Psalm 145:9 (NIV) O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! (Psalm 34:8 NASB) The LORD’s compassions for us never fail. They are new every morning. May we be like our heavenly Father, and be good to all. Have fresh new mercy and compassion for those who may have offended you in the past. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (Philippians 2:4 NLT) Recognize the value of every person and continually show love to every believer. Live your lives with great reverence and in holy awe of God. Honor your rulers. — 1 Peter 2:17 (TPT)

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. — James 4:8 (NASB) It is good for us to draw near to our heavenly Father. Make Him your refuge and abide in His peace. The greater the distance between us and God, the more room there is for distractions which will cause detours off of the path He has for us. Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. — Psalm 73:28 (AMP)

He who pays attention to the word [of God] will find good … Proverbs 16:20a (AMP) Don’t treat the Word of God, like a book of fairy tales. It’s not just another bedtime story. It is the truth that will set you free (John 8:32). It is life and power (Hebrews 4:12). It contains precious promises from God. Not one promise from God is empty of power ... (Luke 1:37a TPT). The Holy Bible is a love letter from our Heavenly Father, declaring His unfailing love for us. It’s a road map to navigate you through life successfully. Psalm 119:105 NLT says,  Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.  Have you ever tried to get somewhere you've never been before without using a guide? The Word is a weapon, the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Jesus used it to triumph through His time of temptation (Luke 4:1-13), and we can too. Meditate on the Word. Let it renew your mind. You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! — Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) When we try to handle things in our own strength, we grow anxious and fearful and worry fills our minds. When we keep our minds stayed on our heavenly Father and His goodness, we are kept in His perfect peace. Dedicate your heart and mind to the LORD and you will live in perfect and constant peace. As we abide with Him, we experience fullness of joy and we can remain confident that He is able to fulfill every need with have. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are God Who Sees”; for she said, “Have I not even here [in the wilderness] remained alive after seeing Him [who sees me with understanding and compassion]?” — Genesis 16:13-14 (AMP) Our heavenly Father is El Roi, the God Who sees. There is no need to try and hide. He knows all of our thoughts and feelings and He sees us with understanding and compassion. He holds us by the hand and watches over us for good and not for harm. O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! — Psalm 34:8 (NASB)

I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the LORD. — Lamentations 3:24-26 (NLT) Live in deep dependence on our heavenly Father, continually looking up to Him from Whom our help comes. Those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. The LORD is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him, to those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word].  (Lamentations 3:25 AMP) God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times. — Lamentations 3:25-27 (MSG)

Jesus: Don’t get lost in despair; believe in God, and keep on believing in Me. — John 14:1 (VOICE) I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 NASB) Don’t let your faith grow weak and cause you to waver and wander away from our heavenly Father. for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] (2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP) So God has given us two unchanging things: His promise and His oath. These prove that it is impossible for God to lie. As a result, we who come to God for refuge might be encouraged to seize that hope that is set before us. “… and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. ” — Acts 14:15 (CSB) Let us turn to the living God, at all times and in every situation. Anything we hold more dear in our hearts than our heavenly Father is an idol, a worthless thing. Count it all rubbish! Acts 14:17 (CSB) goes on to say, “ God did what is good by giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons and filling you with food and your hearts with joy. ” Our heavenly Father is a good God. He is not a deadbeat dad or an absentee father. He is with us always. Psalm 37:23b (NLT) says, He delights in every detail of our lives. Enjoy your fruitful seasons in His Presence. Open your heart to Him that He may fill it with everlasting joy. Cast all your cares and concerns on Him because He cares about you with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully. (1Peter 5:7)
