Manna for Your Morning

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Be wise and very careful of which voices you choose to heed. Yeshua, the Good Shepherd says: …the sheep hear His voice, and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. He goes ahead of them, and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice. (See John 10:3-4) Yeshua is the good shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. (See John 10:11) In John 10:14 (AMP) Yeshua says: “I am the Good Shepherd, and I know [without any doubt those who are] My own and My own know Me [and have a deep, personal relationship with Me]” The voice of the LORD is powerful;  The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.  The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness...  The voice of the LORD makes...

“Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.” — Psalms 42:5 (NASB1995) When challenging situations arise, keep your hope in Yahweh alive. He will help you. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV) How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever; (Psalm 146:5-6 NASB1995) For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my trust and the source of my confidence from my youth. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest. — Psalm 126:5-6 (NLT) Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT) says: For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. (Ecclesiastes 3:4 NLT) Weeping may endure for a night, but let a shout of joy come in the morning. May we persevere through the difficult and painful seasons and embrace the God of all comfort, Who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. (See 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) He will turn your deepest pains into joyful dancing; He will strip off your dark clothing and cover you with joyful light. (See Psalm 30:11 VOICE) Amen.

Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!” — Romans 4:18 (TPT) No matter how hopeless the situation may appear, keep believing God. Believe in His goodness and His unfailing love for you. Take God at His Word. He has it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. (See Jeremiah 29:11 MSG) Nothing is too difficult for our great God. Abraham never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child. for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (TPT) Live by faith. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT) So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable. (2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP) Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Jesus. (See John 14:1) Believe that God loves you and the plans He has for you are good. Believe that God is faithful to fulfill every promise He has made. Stand on His Word, not on the report of man. Believe that our great God is able to deliver you from all your troubles. Just believe.

“ I know your works. You are neither cold with apathy nor hot with passion. It would be better if you were one or the other, but you are neither. So because you are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. You claim, ‘I am rich, I have accumulated riches, and I need nothing’; but you do not realize that you are miserable, pathetic, poor, blind, and naked. ” — Revelation 3:15-17 (VOICE) “Those I love I also correct and discipline. Therefore, be shamelessly committed to Me, and turn back. Now pay attention; I am standing at the door and knocking. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. — Psalm 95:6 (NKJV) “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” (Revelation 4:11 NASB) Continually come to the LORD, in humble adoration. Stand in awe of our great and mighty God. Bow down and worship Him, for Who He is, not what He can do for you. Worship flows from a heart that burns with the desire for more of Him. “ Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed. ” — Revelation 15:4 (NLT)

Jesus’ disciples went with him as he left in a boat. Suddenly, a severe storm came across the sea. The waves were covering the boat. Yet, Jesus was sleeping. — Matthew 8:23-24 (GW) The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. (Matthew 8:25-26 NIV) The disciples were fearful because they were focusing on the conditions of the storm. Jesus was sleeping because He trusted the Father. If we are in the boat with Jesus, we too can have perfect peace when severe storms come our way, by trusting God. His Presence is our protection. Instead of looking at the winds and the waves (circumstances), keep your eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (Hebrews 12:2 NLT)

When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” “Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”   — Mark 10:47-48 (NLT) When the world tries to silence you, lift up your voice all the more, to our mighty God. When the circumstances you encounter leave you speechless, cry out to our living God. He is abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him (Psalm 86:6 NKJV). The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17). Cry out with your whole heart. Psalm 56:9 says, when you cry out to the LORD, then your enemies will turn back because God is for you. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. (Psalm 34:15 NKJV)

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. — James 1:17 (NLT) Our heavenly Father consistently and freely gives us every good and perfect gift. He has given us unconditional love, peace of mind, joy, redemption and freedom. May we receive every gift with a grateful heart.  The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Don't relinquish your gifts to him. Instead, keep a firm grip on all that God has given you and utilize them to live the more abundant life Jesus came to give us, and to add to the lives of others.

Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. — James 3:13 (MSG) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10 NASB). So let us live wisely by walking in His ways and according to His Word. Live humbly in the Presence of God, with a heart full of gratitude. Live well, by fighting the good fight of faith and continuing to the end. Let’s enjoy the rich and satisfying life Jesus came to give us. (John 10:10 NLT). God has placed this rich and satisfying life inside of you. It is not in our external circumstances.

Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He has mercy on us. — Psalm 123:1-2 (NKJV) The devil wants us to take our eyes off of God. Either he tries to get us focused on our selves and the desires of our flesh, or he tries to distract us with things of this world. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), our wonderful Savior, the King of kings and the Lord of lords! Every day we receive new mercies, and God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Amen!

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:19-21 (NKJV) We can tell where our treasure lies by looking at where we spend our time, what we think about and where we spend our money. Are you consumed by the things of this world? May we stockpile our treasure in heaven by spending time with God, in His Word, letting it impact our hearts, in prayer and in worship. We store treasure in heaven when thoughts of fulfilling God's will in our lives occupy our minds. And when we invest our finances in the kingdom of God and helping those in need, we are laying up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where they cannot be destroyed or stolen. Amen!

As they were walking along the road, a man said to Jesus, “I’ll follow you wherever you go. — Luke 9:57 (GW)  When Jesus invited people to follow Him, some made excuses, while others left everything and followed Him. The Apostle Paul said, “I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.” Let us be included in the faithful ones who keep their eyes on Jesus and follow Him wherever He leads.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, accompanied by the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre. You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. O Lord, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts. Psalm 92:1-5 (NLT) Give thanks to the LORD and sing praises to the Most High God. Tell our heavenly Father how much you appreciate His unfailing love in the morning. Thank Him for His everlasting faithfulness every night. Be thrilled with all the LORD has done for you! His works are so magnificent. His thoughts, so profound. Sing for joy at the works of His hand!

Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Psalm 24:7-8 (NLT) The King of glory is a strong and mighty warrior. He cannot be beaten. Trust in the Lord. He is on your side. Amen.

"O LORD, God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and obey his commands, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night..." Nehemiah 1:5-6 (NIV )   As followers of Christ, we have a covenant of love, a binding agreement, with the great and awesome God of heaven. It is written in blood, the precious blood of Jesus, the Lamb that was slain. In this covenant, God pledges His undying love to us. He promises that nothing can separate us from His love.
