Nothing Too Difficult

Image
“‘Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,” — Jeremiah 32:17 (LSB) When I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? (Psalms 56:3-4) …I shall call upon God, and Yahweh will save me. Evening and morning and at noon, I will bring my complaint and moan, and He will hear my voice. He will redeem my soul in peace from the battle which is against me, for they are many who strive with me. (See Psalms 55:16-18 LSB) Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (Psalms 54:4 NASB1995) I will give thanks to Your name, O Yahweh, for it is good. For you have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies. (See Psalms 54:6-7 LSB/NLT) Hallelujah! And amen.

He Will Be With You

Image
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)   Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil because Yahweh is with you. (See Psalms 23:4) In His mighty Presence is His great power. He is able to bring us through the flood and the fiery trials. He is able to turn our darkness into light and make the crooked places straight. He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV) “Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me.” (Psalms 94:17-18 NLT)  “Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of...

Pray at All Times

Image
Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, — Luke 18:1 (NASB) Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the Lord rescues him from them all. (Psalm 34:19 AMP) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (Hebrews 4:16 NLT) Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. — Philippians 4:6 (NASB)

The Helper

Image
But the Helper will teach you everything and will cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name. — John 14:26 (NCV) Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19) We have this treasure from God, but we are like clay jars that hold the treasure. This shows that the great power is from God, not from us. (2 Corinthians 4:7 NCV) We ourselves are like fragile clay jars with the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, in power and glory. What an awesome treasure! The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:5 NKJV) The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, and Counselor. May we allow the Holy Spirit to fill our entire being, and let Him work in us and through us, to bring about the perfect will of the Father in our lives.

Beautiful Brokenness

Image
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. — 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT) We can be broken and yet blessed. As we admit our weaknesses to God, He activates His strength in us. The beauty of our brokenness, is that it allows the light of the LORD to work in us and shine through us. Our cracks allow His love, mercy and grace to enter our hearts. The more broken we become the brighter His light can shine. Then when others look at us, they see the greatness and glory of God. The battles we experience, can actually make us better instead of bitter. When you are battered by troubles, let them produce God's best in you, and that is what will come out of you. But now, O Lord, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8 NASB) My beloved, don’t appraise the masterpiece ...

Nothing Too Hard

Image
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV) Who can stand against you with the LORD on your side? No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17) In all these things we go through in this life, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37) We overcome, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Remember: “ The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. ” (Luke 18:27 NKJV)

His Power, Our Peace

Image
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” — John 14:26-27 (NKJV) Jesus, the Prince of Peace, says do not let your heart be troubled, nor afraid. We can stay in perfect peace because we have the greater One living in us. His great power working in us and through us, empowers us to overcome life’s obstacles and triumph over tragedy. His mighty power enables us to rise up when opposition threatens to take us down. Let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (John 14:27b AMP) We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not fro...

Chosen & Cherished

Image
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We may be rejected by man, but we are chosen and cherished by God. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes (Ephesians 1:4 NLT). He chose us out of the world, brought us out of the domain of darkness and into the kingdom of His marvelous light. You are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted. (1 Peter 2:9-10 MSG) I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy ...

In His Hand

Image
And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. — Jeremiah 18:4 (NKJV)  It’s not so much about being perfect as it is about being teachable and remaining on God’s wheel so He can mold us into the person He created us to be. When life events cause our vessels to be cracked and broken, our story is not over. God is not finished with us yet. Not only will He will make us new, He is also able to use us in whatever condition we are in. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves (2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT).

Don’t Stop

Image
So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.” — 1 Samuel 7:8 (NKJV) In 1 Samuel 7:9, Samuel gave the LORD a burnt offering and cried out to Him for Israel, and the LORD answered him. So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel (1 Samuel 7:13a NKJV). Don’t ever stop calling upon the LORD. When we call upon Him, He will answer. (Jeremiah 33:3) First Thessalonians 5:17 (AMP) tells us to be unceasing and persistent in prayer. Let's not just pray for ourselves and the challenges we face, but also for our families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, nation and the world. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT). But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown...

Jars of Clay

Image
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. — 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT) Why jars of clay? Like jars of clay we are unique. We come in a variety of colors, sizes and shapes and we each have a unique God-given purpose to fulfill. However, the focus should not be on the container. As fragile clay jars, we may get cracked and broken, but the value comes from the treasure that is inside of us. The power of God working within us through His Holy Spirit to bring about His wonderful plan for our lives. Like clay we are to allow ourselves, our hearts and our lives to be shaped by the Master Potter. But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8)

Persist in Prayer

Image
God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. I tell you, God will help his people quickly. But when the Son of Man comes again, will he find those on earth who believe in him?” — Luke 18:7-8 (NCV) In Luke 18:1-6, Jesus told the disciples a parable about an unjust judge, to make the point that at all times we ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. God brought us through our past, He is in our present and He knows our future, so He always orchestrates events with such perfect timing. (Sometimes not as speedily as we would like.) I encourage you to keep praying! Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16 NLT).

Have Hope, Patience & Prayer

Image
Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer. — Romans 12:12 (AMP) Keep your hope in God alive. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Proverbs 10:28 says, the hope of the righteous will be gladness. As you face various trials, let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:4). And devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart (Colossians 4:2 NLT). Instead of a prayer time, have a prayer life. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16b)

He's All Sufficient

Image
‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV) Don’t let the enemy hijack your hope, nor let your faith be shipwrecked. God is bigger than any challenge, circumstance or storm that comes your way. God is El Shaddai, the all sufficient One.  Nothing is too difficult for our Heavenly Father. You cannot fail with God on your side.

Your Words Were Heard

Image
Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. — Daniel 10:12 (NKJV) At times it may seem that our prayers hit the ceiling and come tumbling back down, but we can be confident that every prayer we utter is heard in heaven. Those things that we have been praying for awhile, were heard the first day we prayed them. Let us praise God for the answer while we patiently wait for it to manifest in our lives. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16 NLT). Keep praying at all times and in every situation.

Nothing is Too Hard

Image
‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV) Whatever you are believing God for today, remember, nothing is too hard for our great God. No matter how impossible your situation may seem, with our heavenly Father, all things are possible.  You do your part and He will do the rest. Hallelujah and amen!

Tremendous Power!

Image
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; — Colossians 4:2 (NKJV) In Jeremiah 33:3, the LORD promises that when we call to Him, He will answer and show us great and mighty things, which we do not know. Let us continue earnestly in prayer and remember to thank God for the answer. James 1:16b (NLT) says, the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. The Amplified version says: the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. Our sincere prayers that come from deep within our hearts, make TREMENDOUS POWER available. Hallelujah! and Amen!

Nothing Too Difficult!

Image
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17  (NKJV) In 2 Kings 20:5 (NKJV), King Hezekiah was sick and near death and the prophet Isaiah said to him, “Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: ‘I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you…’ ” God extended his life for fifteen years and defended his city from their enemies. What are you believing God for today? He has heard your prayer and He has seen your tears. Lay your requests before Him and wait expectantly (Psalm 5:3 NIV). Nothing is too difficult for our great God!

Count on God!

Image
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. — Jeremiah 32:17  (NKJV) God is our protector and provider. He is our help and our deliverer (Psalm 40:17). The LORD preserves us and keeps us alive (Psalm 41:2). He is our Savior. His faithfulness reaches to the clouds (Psalm 36:5) You can count on Him! Nothing is too difficult for our God. Hallelujah!

Lift Up Your Eyes!

Image
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. — Isaiah 40:26 (NIV) I will lift up my eyes to the hills— from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2 NKJV). Lift up your eyes. Your help comes from the LORD and nothing is impossible with Him. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom (Isaiah 40:28 NIV).
