Out of the Whirlwind

Image
Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind… — Job 38:1 (NKJV) Do not fear the storms of life. The storm won't outlast our mighty God. And Nahum 1:3 says, the LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm. His ways our higher than ours. Let what needs to be blown out of your life be carried away. When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation. (Proverbs 10:25 NKJV) Stand firm on our strong foundation and watch for God to answer you out of the whirlwind. Out of the raging storm, the Eternal One answered Job. — Job 38:1 (VOICE)

He Responds

Image
In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. — Psalm 138:3 (NKJV) Our heavenly Father responds to His people. His ear is always open to our cry. When we call to Him, He answers. (Psalm 86:7) When we ask for wisdom, He gives it to us (James 1:5) He fills in the gaps of our weaknesses, with His power and strength. When we fall, He is there to lift us up again. He responds to our sickness with healing in His wings. (Malachi 4:2) In times of trouble, He delivers us. When we are lost, He shows us the way. Thank you! Everything in me says “Thank you!” Angels listen as I sing my thanks. I kneel in worship facing your holy temple and say it again: “Thank you!” Thank you for your love, thank you for your faithfulness; Most holy is your name, most holy is your Word. (Psalm 138:1-2 MSG)

Wait Expectantly

Image
Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for I pray to no one but you. Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. — Psalm 5:2-3 (NLT) When you cry out to the LORD, know that He hears you. Psalm 34:15 (NKJV) says: The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. He not only listens, He answers. Wait with expectancy to see our mighty God do wonderful things in your midst.  No matter how impossible your situation appears, remember that with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

Seek Jesus

Image
And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. — Luke 19:3-4 (NKJV) Zacchaeus sought to see who Jesus was, so he ran ahead and climbed a tree to see Him. What steps are you willing to take to get in the right position to see who Jesus is? When we humble ourselves, bow down, and kneel before His throne of grace, we come face to face with His mercy and grace. As we seek His face and call upon Him, we find that He hears us and answers our cries. When we repent and turn away from our sins, we see Him as our Redeemer. He is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world. (John 4:42) He is our righteousness. May our hearts continually hunger to see who Jesus is. He is such a multi-faceted, marvelous wonder, the more we see Him, the more of Him there is to see. He is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Is...

Give Him a Call

Image
And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor and glorify Me. — Psalm 50:15 (AMP) Who do you call, in your distress? As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me (Psalm 55:16). The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:28). The LORD hears your voice when you call to Him (Psalm 4:3). His line is always open, and He answers when we call. For God is good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him (Psalm 86:5). Oh, give thanks to the LORD, who is worthy to be praised! Call upon His name forevermore!

Sit Before Him

Image
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD; and he said: “Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?” — 2 Samuel 7:18  (NKJV) With our busy, multi-tasking lifestyle, many of us have our conversations with God, on the go. However, it is so important for us to consistently withdraw from the world and sit before Him. Turn off the cell phone and allow no other distractions, as you fellowship with the God of all creation. Simply delight yourself in His Presence. It takes time with our heavenly Father, to become more like Him. Pour out your heart to Him and listen for His still small voice. As we spend time with Abba Father, we receive the answers to all our questions, we gain strength and we experience deep peace and great joy. Amen!

Press In & Touch!

Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. — Luke 8:43-44 (NKJV) We can spend years, listening to man and looking for our healing by natural means. We can drain all of our resources: money, time, and energy, with no result, as we look to man. Or we can get what we need by pressing in to Jesus, and drawing from the pool of His supernatural power. Then we will receive our healing, wholeness and the answers and solutions we seek. Amen!

Feed on His Faithfulness!

Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (NKJV) Instead of feeding on your fears and worries, feed on the faithfulness of our God. His faithfulness endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90). Chew on the Word that says, He will never leave you or forsake you. Even when we are not faithful to Him, He still remains faithful. When we call upon Him, He always answers. Great is His faithfulness!
