Manna for Your Morning

Thus you are to be holy to Me, for I the LORD am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine. — Leviticus 20:26 (NASB1995) As saints of the Most High God, we are to be holy, set apart for sacred use, for we are the temple of the living God (See 2 Corinthians 6:16 & 1 Corinthians 6:19). We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people… (See 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV) But know that the LORD has set apart the godly man for Himself; (Psalm 4:3a NASB1995) Instead of conforming to the customs and ways of the world, we are to live according to the culture of the Kingdom of God and follow the teachings of Christ, the living Word. “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean; and I will welcome you. “And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” says the Lord Almighty.  (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 NASB1995)

And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” — 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NLT) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (See 1 John 3:1a NIV) We are also temples of the living God. …we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7 NKJV) We were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. “So come out from among unbelievers and be separate,” says the Lord, “And do not touch what is unclean; and I will graciously receive you and welcome you [with favor], and I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty.
