Build Each Other Up

Image
For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. — 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 (NLT) The life of believers is not about competition. We are all one in Christ and on the same team. May we never compare our lives or ourselves with another person. But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today”... (See Hebrews 3:13 AMP). Instead of trying to tear each other down, let us build each other up. See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. (1 Thessalonians 5:15 NLT)

God is Light

Image
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. — 1 John 1:5 (NASB1995) God is light and we were created in His image, according to His likeness. (See Genesis 1:26) “If we claim that we share life with him, but keep walking in the realm of darkness, we’re fooling ourselves and not living the truth. But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds him, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7 TPT) God called us out of the domain of darkness and into His marvelous light. (See 1 Peter 2:9) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8 NKJV) The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. — Romans 13:12 (AMP)

Seek God

Image
And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. — Acts 17:26-27 (AMP) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB1995) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. (Psalm 73:28 AMP) Call upon Yahweh today. Seek Him and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:12-13)

Surrounded!

Image
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NASB1995) In Second Kings, the king of Aram was warring against Israel. When the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. But the prophet Elisha told him, “ Don’t be afraid! For there are more on our side than on theirs! ” Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!” The LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. (See 2 Kings 6:8, 6:16-17)  May we have eyes to see that there are more with us, than are with the enemy. Remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) The LORD not only dwells in us, but He surrounds us, forever . Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 124:8 NASB1995) Nothing is too difficult ...

Experience His Love

Image
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. — Ephesians 3:18-19 (NLT) Ephesians 3:17 (NLT) says: “ Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. ” We become deeply rooted and securely grounded in the Love of Christ as we trust in Him. Open your heart to Him and receive the unconditional, sacrificial love that He lavishes upon us. His everlasting love will keep you strong and enable you to withstand the storms of life. May you be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love be...

Celebrate!

Image
And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) Let us remember to celebrate all the good things the LORD has done for us and the people He has allowed us to share our lives with. Times of celebration are refreshing and they make the heart glad. Taking time to reflect on what the LORD has done in our lives, helps us to have an attitude of gratitude. May we honor God as the true source of all we have. I will praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving. — Psalm 69:30 (AMP)

GIVE THANKS

Image
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever! — Psalm 106:1 AMP We enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. So give thanks to Him and bless His holy name. Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. (1 Chronicles 16:8 NASB) It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalm 92:1 NASB) “Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the nations, and I will sing praises to Your name.” (2 Samuel 22:50 NASB) I will continually give thanks to the LORD with all my heart and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Stay Mission-Minded

Image
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. — Luke 21:34 (NKJV) Don’t let the cares of this world distract you and choke the living Word out of you. The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity. (Luke 8:14 NLT) These people let the enemy steal the Word away from them and therefore, it does not bear any fruit in their lives. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:4 NKJV) As good soldiers of Jesus Christ, let us stay mission-minded and bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God.

Dwell in His Presence

Image
Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence. — Psalm 140:13 (NKJV) Let us dwell in the Presence of the LORD. Surely, there is no better place to abide. In Psalm 139:7, the psalmist asks, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” My question is why would anyone want to turn away from the awesome honor and privilege we have to abide in His precious Presence? In His presence is fullness of joy; (Psalm 16:11). He makes us exceedingly glad with His presence. (Psalm 21:6). His Presence is comforting and soothing to our spirits, souls and bodies. His Presence is loving, gentle, and full of peace. In His Presence, we find strength to persevere, no matter what. The mountains that stand before you today, will melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. (Psalm 97:5) Only in His Presence, can we gain a proper perspective. Let us come before His presence with tha...

Fix Your Gaze

Image
Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. — 1 Peter 4:12 (NLT) For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT). Fix your gaze upon our great God and the mighty things He has done. He is more than able to extinguish the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Magnify Him with Thanksgiving

Image
And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Ephesians 5:20 (NLT) I am thankful that there is one true God, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6). Nothing is too difficult for Him. We can be thankful that He adopted us and brought us into His family, never to abandon us. He is with us always and forever. He completes us. His strength, fills in our weaknesses. His Presence enables us to go from poor and pitiful to powerful and prospering. His Spirit working in us, transforms us from victim to victorious overcomer. In the midst of challenges, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37). Praise the name of God with a song, and magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30)

Whatever You Do

Image
Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. — Colossians 3:17 (MSG) Don’t compartmentalize your relationship with God to Sunday morning. Whatever you do or say, keep Christ at the center of your life and thank God for each and every step He gives you the strength to take on the path of life.

Troubled on Every Side?

...when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears. Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, — 2 Corinthians 7:5-6 (NKJV) If you are troubled on every side today, know that in spite of your circumstances, you have the God of all comfort standing by your side. He comforts us in all our tribulation (2 Corinthians 1:4). His perfect love casts out fear, (1 John 4:18). The God of peace will speak peace to any conflict that has been stirred up against you. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday (Psalm 37:6).

Our Healer!

Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the LORD, but only from the physicians. Then in the forty-first year of his reign Asa died and rested with his ancestors. — 2 Chronicles 16:12-13 (NIV) There is nothing wrong with going to the doctors, God uses them too. But put your trust and confidence in JESUS, the Great Physician. If we want to experience physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing, we must go to Jesus, our Healer. Only Jesus heals, delivers and makes us whole. Praise the Lord!

"I Will Be With You"

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;  And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,  Nor shall the flame scorch you.  For I am the LORD your God,  The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;  Isaiah 43:2-3a (NKJV) When it seems that all of hell is breaking loose on you, remember: no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The waters of adversity and fiery trials may come but the LORD is our Shield. Hallelujah! And just as surely as they come, they will pass. Through the floods and blazing fires, keep on walking. Our heavenly Father will see us through. Amen!

The Right Choice

The Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha! You worry and fuss about a lot things. There's only one thing you need. Mary has made the right choice, and that one thing will not be taken away from her." Luke 10:41-42 (GW) Jesus was at the home of Mary and Martha. Mary sat at Jesus' feet and listened to Him teach. Her sister, Martha was busy with all the work to be done. She directed Jesus to tell Mary to help her. But Jesus replied that Mary had made the right choice. Instead of fussing and getting all worked up over things that are temporary, make the right choice. Sit at the feet of Jesus and let the living Word of God be your teacher. It is the most important thing and it will not be taken away from you.

Depression Days are Over

Thanksgivings will pour out of the windows; laughter will spill through the doors. Things will get better and better. Depression days are over. They'll thrive, they'll flourish. The days of contempt will be over. Jeremiah 30:18 (The Message) I pray that your thanksgivings to God be so many that they pour out of your windows, not just today, but everyday. See to it that laughter continually spill through your doors. Declare that the days of depression are over and things will get better and better for you and your household. The mirrors in your home shall reflect nothing but the joy in your heart. May you thrive and flourish in your body, soul and spirit. I love you all with the love of Christ Jesus. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving Day! Amen. Love and Peace to you, Jackie

Whatever You Do...Give Thanks

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 (NIV) Let us give thanks for all God has given us to do and speak. Thank God for your spouse, children, family, and friends He has given you to love. Be grateful for the God given ability to work and play. I appreciate each and every one of you for being a part of my life. Have a BLESSED Thanksgiving Day! Thank you, Love, Jackie
