Believe & Recognize

Image
For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. — 1 John 5:4-5 (AMP) I encourage you to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7) Remember that the battle belongs to the LORD and the war has already been won. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 NKJV) …we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP)

Peace of Mind

Image
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” — John 14:27 (NLT) Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NLT) And the greatest gift of all is King Yeshua, Prince of Peace, our Savior and Redeemer. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:17 NKJV) He came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) In John 16:33 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We are able to overcome this world, because He has already gained the victory for us.  May the perfect peace of Christ calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:2...

Be of Good Cheer

Image
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NKJV) A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. (Proverbs 17:22 NLT) Be of good cheer. In our Lord and Savior, Yeshua, we can have perfect peace and fullness of joy. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NKJV) Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. (Psalms 94:17-19 NLT) “You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.” — Psalms 71:20 (NLT)

Abiding Victory

Image
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] — John 16:33 (AMP) Yeshua told us that in this world there would be tribulation. However, we can remain in perfect peace because He has overcome the world. Yeshua is Immanuel, “God with us.” (See Matthew 1:123) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Yeshua came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) No matter what happens, we can have perfect peace knowing that God will work all things together for good (See Romans 8:28), and in King Yeshua, our Savior, we have already gained the victory.

Endure

Image
“And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” — Mark 13:13 (NLT) Because Yeshua overcame, as believers and followers of Christ, we too shall overcome. Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. (Hebrews 10:35-37 NASB1995) Make a decision to be faithful to the end and you will be saved. We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. (James 5:11 NASB1995) So, don’t grow weary. Patiently persevere.

Stay Calm

Image
As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the LORD… But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” — Exodus 14:10, 13-14 (NLT) Time and after time, when His people cried out to the LORD in their trouble, He brought them out of their distresses. In 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV), the LORD said to His people: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” When the battle rages against you, don't panic, and have no fear for Yahweh is with you. He girds you with strength for the battle (See Psalms 18:39a NASB1995) And He is faithful to bring you through. You overcome because greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) Even if the enemy is aggressively on your ...

We Overcome

Image
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NKJV) Surely, we will experience trouble and sorrows in  this world. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (Romans 8:37 AMP) Let us be courageous and confident because we too shall overcome. Praise Yahweh that we have the victory in Yeshua! You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. — 1 John 4:4 (NASB1995)

The Lion of Judah

Image
Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it; and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.” — Revelation 5:4-5 (NASB1995) Yeshua said: “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NASB1995) Because He overcame, His followers shall also overcome. In all of our struggles, challenges and troubles, believers are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) May the righteous arise and be bold as a lion. (See Proverbs 28:1)

God is For Us

Image
What then shall we say in view of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? — Romans 8:31 (TLV) In view of all the things we go through in this life, we can be confident that YAHWEH is with us and He is for us. We are chosen and called. (See 1 Peter 2:9) Revelation 17:14 says, those who are with the Lamb, the Lord of lords and King of kings, are called, chosen, and faithful. And He has overcome all who make war with Him. God who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (See Romans 8:32, 35 NASB1995) Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (See Romans 8:38-39) Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious vict...

We Overcome

Image
And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. — Revelation 12:11 (NASB1995) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (Romans 8:37 AMP) Always be willing to share your testimony of what the Lord has done for you and do not love your life more than you love our Lord & Savior. Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ. (See 2 Corinthians 2:14 NASB1995) Amen.

Do Not be Deceived

Image
Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. — 1 John 3:7-8 (NASB1995) Do not let anyone lead you astray. Abide in God and follow His Holy Scriptures. …for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect. (Mark 13:22 NASB1995) We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. (1 John 5:19 NKJV)  The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:17 NASB1995)  You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. — 1 John 4:4 (NASB1995) Amen.

We Overcome

Image
“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” — Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995) You are called and chosen. Be a faithful follower of Jesus. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37) We overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, and by not loving our life even when faced with death. (See Revelation 12:11) In Revelation 3:5 (NKJV), Jesus said: “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. (Luke 13:24 NASB1995) Those who enter will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. (See Luke 13:29 NASB1995) Am...

We Shall Overcome

Image
You know how much persecution and suffering I have endured. You know all about how I was persecuted in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra—but the Lord rescued me from all of it. — 2 Timothy 3:11 (NLT) Just as the Apostle Paul experienced difficulties, we too will have to endure some challenges. The good news is that the Lord will rescue us out of all our troubles, just as He rescued Paul. Trust God. Be patient and persistent and remain faithful to the end. We shall overcome. For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. (1 John 5:4 AMP) Look, we bless and honor the memory of those who persevered under hardship. Remember how Job endured and how the Lord orchestrated the triumph of his final circumstances as a grand display of His mercy and compassion. — James 5:11 (VOICE)

We Overcome

Image
“ These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. ” — John 16:33 (NASB1995) Take courage in whatever trials, troubles or sorrows you are experiencing, because Jesus has already made a way for us. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (Romans 8:37 AMP) Revelation 12:11 (NASB1995) says, we overcome because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony, and we do not love our lives even when faced with death. May we faithfully share our testimony of the mighty works the Lord has performed in our midst. I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the LORD has done. — Psalm 118:17 (NLT)

Why has all this happened to us?

Image
The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said to him, “The LORD is with you, O valiant warrior.” Then Gideon said to him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about…” — Judges 6:12-13a (NASB) God never said His people would not go through things. In John 16:33, Jesus warned that in the world we would have many trials and sorrows. The promise is that He is with us always. He is our constant Companion and Comforter. The Lord makes a way for us, through the storms of life. He gives us strength to persevere to the end. Take courage, Jesus has overcome the world. Continue in prayer and praise to our heavenly Father. Keep your trust and hope in the Lord. The  “ why? ”  of our circumstances is not as important as the  “ WHO ” In God, we have all we need to overcome.

Victory Abiding

Image
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] — John 16:33 (AMP) No matter how circumstances may appear today, we have the victory today ! In Christ, we are more than conquerors. What we must realize in the dark valleys, is that Jesus has already given us the victory. We just need to keep moving forward, and we will make it to the glorious mountaintop moments. Yet I am so thankful to God, who always marches us to victory under the banner of the Anointed One; and through us He spreads the beautiful fragrance of His knowledge to every corner of the earth. (2 Corinthians 2:14 VOICE)

Done Deal

Image
Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. — John 19:30 (NASB) When Jesus said, “ It is finished! ” He really meant it. Don’t let the enemy continually beat you up and steal your joy. Jesus has overcome the world. In John 16:33 Jesus said, “I n this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world. ” He has already given us the ultimate victory. We win because Jesus has already triumphed over every trouble, trial, and temptation that comes our way. In Jesus, we are more than conquerors! No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. — Romans 8:37 (NLT)

Empowered!

Image
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. — Ephesians 3:16-17 (NLT) We are empowered to do all that God has called us to do, as we surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. His power is perfected and shows itself most effectively in our weakness. Be rooted in God’s love and trust Him to give you the strength you need to overcome each and every challenge. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.  — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)

Rely on God’s Help

Image
“ But you asked God for help and he gave you the victory. God is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him. You were foolish to go for human help when you could have had God’s help… ” — 2 Chronicles 16:8-9a (MSG) Be totally committed to the LORD at all times. For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. (2 Chronicles 16:9a NASB) Rely on the LORD, to show you the way and give you the strength to overcome every challenge and persevere through the storms. It is better to put your faith in the Eternal for your security than to trust in people. (Psalm 118:8 VOICE) O LORD of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You! — Psalm 84:12 (NASB)

Count it all Joy

Image
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, — James 1:2 (NASB) Instead of looking for perfect circumstances, look to the perfect One, Jesus. He said, “ Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart (be of good cheer), because I have overcome the world. ” (John 16:33) Instead of focusing on the problem, take comfort in His Presence and stand on His promises. Romans 8:28 (NASB) says, God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. — James 1:2-4 (MSG)
