Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. — James 1:2 (NLT) We can consider it all joy when we encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. — James 1:2 (NLT)
 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 NLT) In this world, you will have many trials and sorrows. But don’t get discouraged. Instead, seize the opportunity to be joyful because when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (See James 3-4) Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. (See Hebrews 12:1)  For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. — Hebrews 10:36 (AMP)

We plan the way we want to live, but only God makes us able to live it. — Proverbs 16:9 (MSG) We plan and God directs. Listen carefully, those of you who make your plans and say, “We are traveling to this city in the next few days. We’ll stay there for one year while our business explodes and revenue is up.” The reality is you have no idea where your life will take you tomorrow. You are like a mist that appears one moment and then vanishes another. It would be best to say, “If it is the Lord’s will and we live long enough, we hope to do this project or pursue that dream.” (James 4:13-15 VOICE) Let us make the most of every opportunity the Lord gives us today, to glorify the name of Jesus and advance the Kingdom of God.

“… And do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is your strength and your stronghold. ” — Nehemiah 8:10b (AMP) Time spent worrying is wasted time, and it weakens your faith. However, we remain strong when we hold onto the joy of the LORD. Jesus said, “ The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. ” (John 10:10 NASB) The enemy is always looking for an opportunity to steal your joy. If he steals your joy, he can kill your hope and destroy lives. Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, (James 1:2 NASB)

If God woke you up this morning, He has something for you to do today. Each day is one step on the journey toward the wonderful plans He has for you. Let us begin each day by offering ourselves to our heavenly Father, as vessels to be occupied by His Holy Spirit. (Romans 12:1) Every day can be extraordinary, as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit within us. He will open the doors that need to be opened, and the enemy cannot close them. Appreciate the beauty in each moment and make the most of every opportunity God gives you. I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. (Psalm 57:2 NLT) “I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” (Job 42:2 NASB)

Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. — James 1:2 (NLT) The Message Bible says, t o consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides (James 1:2). When faced with adversity, it is an opportunity to learn that we should not trust in ourselves but in God. In 2 Corinthians 1:9 (NIV), the Apostle Paul said, “ Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. ” Troubles present an opportunity for our faith and trust in God to grow and be strengthened. They draw us closer to our heavenly Father. Let us see challenges as a set-up for our great big God to show Himself strong and mighty. We can be confident that God will cause all things to work together for good. We can also take joy in knowing that in Jesus we have already overcome!

Your perseverance leads to your perfection. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:4 NIV). The challenges we face, are opportunities for God to show Himself strong and mighty on our behalf. Any obstacle we face gives us a chance to strengthen our faith. They remind us that we walk by faith and not by what we see. What appears to be a drawback is really a set-up for your success.

‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”’ — Revelation 3:7-8 (NKJV) God opens the doors that are for us and closes those that are not. Seek His will to discern which door of opportunity is for you and be ready to walk through it and pursue all that God has purposed for you. The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, “Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed, so it shall stand (Isaiah 14:24 NKJV). A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them (Proverbs 16:9 AMP).

The more troubles we experience, the more opportunities we have for great joy to abound in our hearts and minds. In addition, the joy of the LORD is your strength. And joy is contagious, when you are joyful, that joy is released into the atmosphere and those around you also benefit. So, take joy in knowing that you are in a process of perfection and that God who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. (James 1:2, NLT) We can rejoice knowing that the testing of our faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. (James 1:3, AMP). We can also rejoice in the fact that God has given us the ultimate victory that will last for all eternity. We are more than conquerors in Christ. Hallelujah!

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. — James 1:2-4 (NKJV) James 1:2, in the New Living Translation says, dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. The various trials and challenges we go through give us the opportunity to let faith and patience work in us, to make us perfect, complete and mature; a state of lacking nothing. Be patient and remain confident that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13 (NIV). Amen.

For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. — 1 Corinthians 16:9 (NKJV) When God opens doors of opportunity, do not be surprised when you encounter adversaries and opposition, as you pursue what God has for you. The fiery darts of the enemy will come. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV). Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13 NIV). For you have the victory!

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, so that man can find out nothing that will come after him. — Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NKJV) Regardless of the circumstances, this is the day the LORD has made. All of our days were written in His book before one of them came to be, so let us make the most of every moment. The present is what we have been given to work with. We cannot change the past and we do not know what tomorrow will bring. Therefore, seize every opportunity to follow God's purpose and plan for your life.

Jesus said to him, “As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes.” — Mark 9:23 (GW) If you think you can, you are right. And if you think you can't, you are right. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7, NKJV). When we believe, our minds are open to see the possibilities. When we stop believing, our minds are closed and we are unable to see the doors of opportunity that God may open. Keep believing that God will show you the way to accomplish the dreams He has put on your heart! Keep believing that our heavenly Father is faithful and He will fulfill all of His great and precious promises!
