Manna for Your Morning

Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. — Psalms 90:14-15 (NLT) Yahweh is a God of restoration. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Psalms 23:3 AMP) He will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And His people shall never be put to shame. (See Joel 2:25-26 NKJV) In Hosea 2:15, the LORD says He will transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. He will turn our mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away our clothes of mourning and clothe us with joy, that we might sing praises to Him and not be silent. O LORD our God, we will give you thanks forever! ...

“ Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance. ” — Isaiah 55:2 (AMP) In Isaiah 55:3 (NLT), the LORD says: “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” Incline your ear to hear the Word of Yahweh, more than the negative news of this world. His Word gives life. (See Psalms 119:50 NKJV) His Word is a source of hope. The instructions of the LORD are perfect, reviving the soul… (See Psalms 19:7 NLT). Open your eyes to see the wonderful truths in His instructions. And may you hide his word in your heart that you may not sin against Him. (See Psalms 119:18 & 11 NLT)

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” — John 6:35 (NASB1995) Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.” (John 6:32-34 NASB1995) May we always desire Yeshua, the Bread of Life. He is the only One Who can fully satisfy our hunger and quench our thirst.  Psalms 104:15 (AMP) says it is bread that sustains and strengthens man’s heart. “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance.” (Isaiah 55:2 AMP)

“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. (See John 10:10 NLT) Material things can never bring permanent satisfaction. Our joy, peace and lasting satisfaction is found in continual fellowship with Yeshua, our Lord and Savior. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. Wishing to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas for them, and after having Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified. — Mark 15:15 (NASB) Pilate wanted to satisfy the crowd. Instead of trying to please people, may we seek to please our Creator. For He is our Maker and we are the people of His pasture. He created us with a plan and purpose. Let us stay on the path He set before us. He will guide you along the best pathway for your life. He will advise you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8) Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, difficult place. He will continually restore strength to you, so you will flourish like a well-watered garden and like an ever-flowing, trustworthy spring of blessing. (Isaiah 58:11 TPT)

Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” — John 4:13-14 (NKJV) When we draw from the well of the world for our needs, we will always have to go back and draw again. The things of this world will never satisfy our souls. When we open our hearts and receive Jesus we become the well that contains living water, His Holy Spirit. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? (1 Corinthians 6:19a NLT) Jesus is our only hope. He is the source of all our joy and peace. He fills our cup to overflowing. He is the truth that sets us free, the living Word. Jesus saves and delivers. He is the answer to every challenge and situation. When we fully rely on God, we will not be disappointed. Amen.

Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. — Psalm 37:4 (NASB) May our heart's desire be for more of our Heavenly Father. Only God can satisfy the deep longing of your soul. Delight yourself in Him, in His Presence and in His Word. He will show you the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11)  In His Presence we have the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding. It will stand guard over your heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) In Him, we have a constant Companion. We are precious in His sight and His thoughts of us outnumber the grains of sand! (Psalm 139:18) May we think of Him as often as He thinks of us.

Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” — John 4:6-7 (NLT) In Jeremiah 2:13, the LORD says: “ For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me— the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all! ” Which wells do you draw from as your source? The well of your career or business? Do you go to the well of people-pleasing, trying to get your fill on the approval of others? Do you rely on the well of money or the well of sensual pleasures? These wells will never satisfy our thirst. Jesus is the only source that can satisfy. Just like the woman at the well, He knows everything you ever did and He still loves you. Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”  — John 6:32-33 (NKJV) And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”  (John 6:35) Jesus is the bread of life, who gives life to the world. He is the only One who can satisfy our hunger. That emptiness inside our hearts, hungers for His presence, and nothing else will do. In Matthew 6:11, Jesus taught His disciples to pray: “Give us this day our daily bread” because He is the One who sustains our lives, day by day. In order to live full and satisfying lives, we must partake of Him everyday. So let us respond to Jesus, the same way His disciples did: They said to Him, “ Lord, give us this bread always .” (John 6:34)

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. — Romans 15:13 (NLT) “ Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? (Psalm 34:8) Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6) The Lord always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does (Psalm 145:13b NLT). He satisfies the desire of every living thing. (Psalm 145:16 NKJV) May you go out with everlasting joy and be led forth with perfect peace, as you trust in our great and mighty God.

He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Psalm 23:1-3 AMP) He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength (Isaiah 40:29). Our heavenly Father is able to breathe life into dead bones (Ezekiel 37:4-10). He will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; He will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with His eye upon you. (Psalm 32:8 AMP)

“I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and of the son of a man who will be made like grass? And you forget the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth; — Isaiah 51:12-13a (NKJV) The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. (Isaiah 58:11 NKJV) When doubts fill your mind, His comfort will give you renewed hope and cheer. (Psalm 94:19 NLT) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles… (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV)

The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the LORD will be exalted and safe. — Proverbs 29:25 (AMP) When you put your trust in people, you will surely be disappointed. However, when you totally trust in the LORD, He will not let you down. Come to Him with a humble and grateful heart, in complete confidence and full of expectation that He is all you need. There is no need you have that is too big for Him to handle. Jesus came that we may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10b) In His Presence there is no lack. He will fulfill your thirst and satisfy your hunger. Trust Him with all of your heart. They cried out to You and were delivered; They trusted in You and were not disappointed or ashamed. (Psalm 22:5 AMP)

Cherish His love as more valuable than the air you breathe. When we draw our last breath on this earth, it’s His face we will see for all eternity. Praise Him as long as you live. Seek Him early in the morning and throughout the day. The psalmist says, “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You;” (Psalm 63:1a NKJV). Call upon Him in the night, as  Psalm 63:6 (NKJV) says: “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night! (Psalm 92:2 NKJV)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. — Psalm 32:8 (NIV) The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. (Isaiah 58:11 NKJV). The loving eye of God is always watching over His children. When we go through dry places, He will satisfy our souls. As we follow His instruction and guidance, we will be fruitful like a a well-watered garden, and flouri sh like a spring of water that never runs dry. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. (Psalm 34:15 NKJV)

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end. — Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP) If you have ever been in between a rock and a hard place, you know how beautiful it is when God works everything out, at just the right time. While we may not know the whole plan of God, we can rejoice and be glad in this day that He has given us and trust Him to reveal to us exactly what we need to know and do, at His appointed time. Things may not come together on our timetable, but God is always right on time!
