Manna for Your Morning

I called on Your name, O Yahweh, out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice, “Do not hide Your ear from my prayer for relief, from my cry for help.” You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not fear!” — Lamentations 3:55-57 (LSB) Our heavenly Father hears His children when they call  upon Him for help and He is faithful to deliver us from all our troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NKJV) says: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. “For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love.” (Lamentations 3:31-32 NLT) Psalms 97:10 (NKJV) says, He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalms 9:10 (LSB)

O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer]. — Psalms 95:6 (AMP) For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Interlude (Psalms 39:4-5 NLT) So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], — Romans 12:12 (AMP) Let us constantly rejoice in the hope we have in Christ. This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], (Hebrews 6:19 AMP) Don't drift and have no doubt, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6) Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. (1 Timothy 1:19 NLT) Continually seek God's wisdom and guidance and draw your strength from Him.

When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].” — Psalms 27:8 (AMP) Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. (Hebrews 6:18-19 NLT) Continually rejoice in the hope we have in Jesus. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. — Ephesians 6:13-18 (MSG) When we clothe ourselves with the full armor of God, we are prepared and protected. Amen!

Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 (TPT) Make your life a prayer (a conversation with your heavenly Father). In every circumstance and situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your specific requests known to God. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:6-7 TPT)

(Psalm 95:6 AMP) Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised! Our mighty God is good, His is abundant in grace and mercy. He is love and full of  light. There is no darkness in Him. The LORD is our light and our salvation (Psalm 27:1). Bow in wonder at the throne of God. Those who walked in darkness have seen a radiant light shining upon them. They once lived in the shadows of death, but now a glorious light has dawned! — Isaiah 9:2 (TPT)

Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude…  — Philippians 4:6 (TPT) Instead of letting worries occupy your mind and shape your life, make your specific requests to our great God, with thanksgiving, for who He is and for all He has done. Be grateful for what He is doing at this present moment. Be thankful that His ear is always open to hear your voice. I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.  (Psalm 34:4 NLT) For I hope in You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God. (Psalm 38:15 NASB)

“I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. — John 15:5 (AMP) A branch that is cut off from the vine, withers and eventually dies. So our union with Jesus is vital, that means absolutely necessary or important; essential. We should not attempt to do anything on our own, because apart from Him we can do nothing. In Him we live and move and exist (Acts 17:28). Invite Him into every area of your life. Ask for His help and continually seek to do His will. He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). When we abide in Him, we bear much fruit. May our daily prayer be:  “Father, not My will, but Yours be done.” Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face. — Psalm 105:4 (TPT)

Do not slack in your faithfulness and hard work. Let your spirit be on fire, bubbling up and boiling over, as you serve the Lord. Do not forget to rejoice, for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming, and devote yourselves to prayer.  — Romans 12:11-12 (VOICE) Revelation 3:15-16 (NLT) says, “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” May we be hot with passion for God and His Kingdom. Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder . — Romans 12:11-12 (MSG)

Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. — Psalm 20:7-8 (NLT) In Genesis 4:26 (AMP), men began to call on the name of the Lord [in worship through prayer, praise, and thanksgiving]. Let us continually lift His name on high. From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the LORD is to be praised. (Psalm 113:3 NASB) Before David conquered His enemy, he declared “I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts….” (1 Samuel 17:45 NASB) Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8 NKJV) May we trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon our God. (Isaiah 50:10)  When we boast in His name, we will rise up and stand firm! The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. — Proverbs 18:10 (NLT)
