As the song says, “He is the answer to what our hearts are searching for.” Jesus is higher than any mountain that stands before you. He is greater than any storm. Even the winds and the sea obey Him (Matthew 8:27). Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of lords. He is our only hope. Jesus is our strength, and He is our peace, in the midst of the storms. In John 16:33 (NLT) Jesus said: “ I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world .”

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; — Luke 1:31-32a (NAS) JESUS is great! God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11). The government will rest on His shoulders. And His kingdom will have no end (Luke 1:33).  He is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Whatever you are battling today, the name of Jesus is higher and more powerful. His name carries more weight. Keep your eyes on Jesus and you have the victory! Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29:2, NKJV)!
