He Understands

Image
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding. — Isaiah 40:28 (CSB) Have you ever been misunderstood? Well, no matter what you have done, or what you are going through, the LORD understands. Psalm 139:2 (CSB) says, He even understands our thoughts from far away. He is intimately acquainted with all of our ways. Even before we speak a word, He knows it all. (See Psalm 139:3-4) Still, our awesome God is full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. (See Psalm 86:15 NKJV) He will give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. (See Isaiah 61:3) He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29 NIV) Great is our [majestic and mighty] Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is inexhaustible [infinite, boundless]. — Psalm 147:5 (AMP...

He Understands

Image
This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. — Hebrews 4:15 (NLT) Do not be defeated by your weaknesses. Submit to Christ and let His mighty power be shown through you. Three times the Apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord to remove a thorn in his flesh. But he answered… “ My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness .” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.” (See 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 TPT) And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. (See Romans 8:26 NLT) … for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]. — 2 Corinthians 12:10b (AMP)

Know Him

Image
Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NKJV) Our greatest pursuit in this life is to truly know the LORD. The most valuable and precious thing we can possess is an ever growing understanding of who He is;  His gracious and merciful nature. He is love, therefore everything He does, demonstrates His unfailing love for us. He is loyal, forgiving and faithful. He brings justice and righteousness to the earth. Jesus was pierced for our transgressions, and crushed for our iniquities; (Isaiah 53:5). He shed His blood and gave His life to set us free and give us eternal life in the presence of our heavenly Father. Let us press on to know Him and make Him known...

Never Forgotten

Image
“Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. — Isaiah 49:15-16a (NLT) Whenever we go through difficult situations, the lie of the enemy is that we are all alone. Don’t believe his lies for one minute. Our heavenly Father never forgets about you. You are always on His mind. Psalm 40:5 (NKJV) says, Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. He knows when you sit down and when you rise up [your entire life, everything you do]; He understands your thought from afar. (Psalm 139:2a AMP). He goes before you and follows you. He places his hand of blessing on your head. (Psalm 139:5 NLT)

Help is Always Here

Image
We also know that the Son did not come to help angels; he came to help the descendants of Abraham. Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested. — Hebrews 2:16-18 (NLT) Jesus understands our weaknesses and He is rich in mercy and faith. No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. (1 Corinthians 10:13, MSG)

He Knows

Image
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” — Revelation 3:15-16 (NKJV) We can fool some of the people some of the time, but we can never pull a fast one on God. He knows everything we do. For the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. (1 Chronicles 28:9b NIV). Serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind (1 Chronicles 28:9a). Lukewarmness comes when our desires are split. We want to walk in God's way and enjoy the benefits of living in His kingdom, but half of the time we take a detour and allow ourselves to get caught up in the world and it's ways. No one can serve two masters; (Matthew 6:24). Don’t leave a bad taste in the mouth of God. Let ALL you do and say give glory to His kingdom. Be on fire for God, consistently doing the right things with pure motives and a clear conscien...

Set Your Love upon Him

Image
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never]. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation . — Psalm 91:14-16 (AMP) And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength (Mark 12:30, NKJV). Aim all of your affections, devotion and desires toward our heavenly Father and you shall experience true satisfaction and everlasting peace!

Understand & Know the LORD!

— Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NKJV) If you are going to brag, brag on this: that you truly understand and know the LORD. May we consider all the things of this world as rubbish, in comparison to the great “I AM!” He is the LORD and there is no other!

He Understands

Since we have a great high priest, Jesus the Son of God, who has gone into heaven, let us hold on to the faith we have. For our high priest is able to understand our weaknesses. He was tempted in every way that we are, but he did not sin. Hebrews 4:14-15 (NCV) Jesus is our great high priest, who understands our weaknesses and all that we go through. Never be afraid to bear your soul to Him. Isaiah 53:3 tells us, He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. He was oppressed and afflicted (Isaiah 53:7). Since Jesus has gone through suffering and testing, He is able to help us when we are being tested, (Hebrews 2:18). Let us approach the throne of our gracious God, with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
